I GOT MY TWO FIRST SHINY IN LEGEND ARCEUS IN THE SAME 20 MINUTES YESTERDAY (and by yesterday I mean 12h ago, but it changed day for me lol)

I got a shiny Rapidash in a space-time rift, and bidoof in the middle of the snowy area! :D I'm so happy!

I got the game since almost week 1, but I just got my first shiny now! (I don't count the shiny ponyta from the side quest)

Yeah I just wanted to share my happiness lol

I never thought I’d ever get into Pokémon. I never really understood it, only experience I ever had really was when I was a little human and I played Smash Bros. with my friend and I always played as Lucario, and then they showed me their Pokémon cards, and once or twice they let me play on their game boy and play Pokémon Emerald or Ruby, I cannot remember which.

My favorites at the time were Lucario, Mimikyu, Eevee, and finally Taurus, that much I remember.

It’s been well over a decade since then.

Little over a week ago I bought Pokémon Legends of Arceus…

And now I have a problem; I cannot stop playing it. I’ve played it for over 10 hours, and I cannot get enough.

I’m having so much fun running around just filling out my Pokédex and completing side quests! Some reason I enjoy stopping and talking to the two little kids whenever I’m in the village.

I only just now, just barely defeated Kleavor, Lord of the Woods, after 10+ hours I’ve been so distracted.

I chose Rowlet as my starter, and he’s evolved into Dartrix and I absolutely love him.

I caught Eevee as my third Pokémon, and he just turned into Espeon. I love him as well.

My team currently consists of: Dartrix, Espeon, shiny Ponyta, Alpha Floatzel, Alpha Drifblim, and Luxray. I feel like it could be way better, I just can’t decide on who I should trade out and with what Pokémon…

I love this game so much and have enjoyed getting into Pokémon. It’s fun and so interesting!

Only problem I have with Arceus is all of the dialogue. There’s a loooot and my A.D.H.D. brain can only focus on so much 😅

Because of this one game, I now have a new fixation and will be broke faster than I know it…

I got 2 shiny pokemon and an alpha alakazam in the span of 10 minutes of playing \o/

#pokemon legends arceus #The Dustox was part of an outbreak and I found the starly on my way to that outbreak xD #As soon as I caught the dustox I got an alert that one of those rift things was opening #So I got my butt over there as fast as I could and arrived a little early #and found the alakazam hanging out #It's level 60 and that's 20 levels higher than everything else I have so far xD #Also the other pokemon on that list were all new from the rift as well so it was a very good 10 minutes xD #I also have a shiny psyduck drifloon and ponyta that I stumbled into yesterday :D #Shiny pokemon seem way less rare than in other games #I hatched over 500 eggs trying to get shiny ponyta in pokemon shield and never got it #In this game it was part of a side quest \o/

Love how everyone in town be hatin on us wearing modern clothes when the diamond and pearl clan leaders both look like modern day gym leaders. Oh, also; I hope you like the color blue. That's the only hint I'm giving.

Oh that's really nice to know! Well I've been curious to ask you about your experience with Legendes: Arceus, was it what you expected it to be? Or do you think they could've added more stuff either with the gameplay or with the story? BTW have you already caught your shinies yet? 👀 -Espeon☀

So I finished the main game but haven't done much besides that (whenever I get to the end of anything I put off fully completing it for the longest time xD)

It's honestly so much fun. Also a lot more stressful than I thought it'd be (the amount of times I'm just chucking pokeballs then suddenly 1000 Gastlys show up). I didn't want to have too much hype just in case, but it is just amazing.

I wish they had something with eggs. Like a side quest that's like "Hey I found this weird egg in the pasture, can you take it and see what happens?" and this teaches you about breeding (maybe unlocking another pasture but only for breeding). Or like a special spacial distortion where your friends can join you in chucking pokeballs and fighting the raid of pokemon in it. Just something like that.

I've only caught a couple shinies sadly >.< I have the basic ponyta, then I got two shiny bunearies (one in an outbreak and one in the wild) and I also have shiny wurmple and don't want to evolve it in case it becomes Cascoon (Shiny beautifly is just a lot cooler than Dustox imo).

I’ve caught two shiny Pokemon in Arceus today and I’m so excited that I thought I’d share what I’ve got so far (besides Shiny Ponyta as it’s part of a side-quest)

Rhyhorn, Glameow, Bidoof and Cherrim.

The only one I got from one of those mass gatherings was the Bidoof so I’m pretty dang happy with how lucky I’ve been!

My first shiny was a Ponyta, I found her as a side quest given by an npc. She was drinking from a pond. She's bold by nature and I named her Mila.

The second was Céleste! I was on my way to a Kricketot outbreak actually, when I found him halfway on my way there. I decided to keep him a Kricketot because I grew fond of him in that form. He's shy so it fits.

Then there is Dario, a shiny Gligar I found while I was scaling a cliff. I heard a funny sound and was like "wth was that??", saw him, thought to myself 'is he supposed to be purple?', saw a pink gligar somewhere in the back behind him and then I blacked out in the span of 0.1 second. His nature is apparently quiet which is extremely funny to me because of how I found him. He's been in my team ever since and I'm planning to keep him in this form too.

By a matter of sheer luck or a gift by the universe (idk) I had an outbreak of Budew the same day as Dario, went there just for funsies, and one of the very first Budews sparkled before my eyes. I caught it thinking of gifting it to my wife, got absolutely hammered down by an Alpha Budew and then got murdered by a small Budew right next to it. I was so embarrassed. Shi loves Roserade and I love giving her flowers so it was worth it though.

In return a day or two later one of my friends found her second shiny Starly (now Staraptor) and gifted it to me. I named him Emmett, I love him very much. He loves to fly and zoom past everyone 😎

And today after getting called out by my therapist for possibly playing too much I did exactly just that ✌ booted up my game, almost got murdered by Mothim, and then found a shiny Luxio (now Luxray), which I have named after Pan. It's as if the game wanted to reassure me that I'm allowed to have fun shfkd

I almost have a full team of shinies now 😌

omg ALL THE SHINY BABIES i love them all ❤️ i can’t wait for you to complete your shiny team so i can hear abt the new addition! (not to pick favourites but ever since the first play through of pearl i watched i fell in love with the starly line and staraptor is just so darn cool so emmett has to be my personal fave of all your shinies sfghjk)

I’m so happy!! I’ve been hunting for one for a while now and finally found one! 

And on top of that when I was leaving the village I saw another outbreak and decided to check it just out of curiosity and there was ANOTHER one in the first group! This makes 4 (5 if you count the side-quest Ponyta) shinies in the game so far!

Omg, I just caught a shiny Bidoof in Legends.  Like I just finished the shiny ponyta side quest and was running around collecting crafting stuff and, bam, there it was, shiny bidoof.

It was very exciting.
