The concept of prophetic visions and dreams in The Sandman universe is objectively hilarious when you realize it automatically involves Destiny, Dream, and Delirium, and Destiny being absolutely fed up with his younger siblings messing with his domain.

…which is probably why there are far more records of prophetic visions than prophetic dreams but the symbolism in visions is…incredibly trippy and often unsettling. But the earliest stories of either leans more in favor of prophetic dreams.

Dream doesn’t mess with his siblings domains lightly, and either asks permission, first, or has Lucienne keep a record of the tab owed to Destiny over this.

Delirium, however…

Yeah…she’s just that youngest sibling who messes with your stuff and as infuriated as you are with her it’s often as productive as shouting at a baby because she WILL cry and rip her hair out and never grasp why her actions upset you.

I had an ex who had dyslexia and he didn’t use coping strategies so whenever he gave me the wrong dates or times for events it would cause chaos for my whole day. Not going to lie it was a contributing factor in the break up because he would pull this shit and then he would say he wanted kids. Men fail to understand that stuff that is barely tolerable when the relationship is more causal becomes a deal breaker when kids, future or just hypothetical, become involved. But even he didn’t let his dog bark at 5 am.

Three things to know:

My room is on the second floor of the house.

Every time I leave said room, I will almost always realize I've forgotten something.

This realization will not occur until about halfway down the steps.

My dog often follows me on these trips upstairs. When we go downstairs, he'll usually stop halfway on the steps to check to make sure I haven't gone back for something.

He doesn't do this with anyone else in the house.

My ADHD trained my dog. He knows my brain is a beaten-up pasta strainer and that he has to stop and wait for my sorry ass.

Honestly, this just makes me think about my mom, who went into pre-term labor with my brother three months before her due date and had to go on bed rest. He was a couple weeks early and he was still nine-ish pounds. My mom's not a tall/large lady, either.

God, the poor reader. She's gonna be huge by the end of her pregnancy.

I guess I don't entirely know what type of headcanons/thoughts you want me to draft in response to this? The video makes me very sympathetic to pregnant people, for sure. I suppose I see the CHC reader as being more of an anxious type during labor, as opposed to belligerent. That, and she's also cursing Piotr's very existence throughout the whole labor.
