@regaliasonata apparently tumblr won’t let me post your original ask for some reason, so here we are. This is the short version, the long one is on AO3.
A party that cost roughly two-thousand dollars to throw in the dorms, including an extra five hundred to bribe anyone that would rat out the spoiled rich bastards to a higher authority, was not somewhere that Eric wanted to be.
Maybe that's why he got wasted on half a bottle of vodka and practically startled out of his skin when Wes found him half hanging out of a third story window, saying something condescending to a pair of other rich kids that were saying something doubtlessly quite improper towards Eric. Maybe that's why Eric seemed to almost surrender as Wes pulled Eric's arm over his shoulders and started leading him towards a room with less noise and less shitty company. Then a group that had been waiting in a doorway came out and splashed the both of them with a full keg of beer; froth sticky to Eric's hair and the feeling of humiliation waking him up right quick as Wes just tried to shrug it off and continue onward. Probably what kept Eric from doing something stupid beyond just throwing the vodka bottle at the wall above their heads and shouting profanities well down into the first floor, snarling and hissing about everything being wrong right up and until Wes found his room and asked for the key. It was ridiculous, this blond idiot having to fish out Eric's keys to his room, smiling down at the little chain attached with the little budgies in red and silver, keeping a finger pinched into Eric's soaking wet shirt so he didn't try to go back and pick a fight. Eric could not have been held responsible in the morning as he tried to take control of the situation, pushed Wes into the tidy room without a trace of dust or trash anywhere, and started attacking the other with his lips, tongue, grabby hands, and an urgency that followed him around most days (though when he was sober, he confused it for resentment and superiority, not the naked want to fuck Wes into the ground). "Hey, hey, hey, hey, easy Eric, can you--" Slinging his shirt over his head, followed by his pants and underwear, dropping them into their own little pile of boozy wetness, Eric shut Wes up with a sort of harmless ease, pressing him down onto the edge of the bed and letting the blond just sort of...short circuit...at the sight of the other glistening in the half dark, moon outside the window making Eric almost ethereal and new. He swayed forward, pressing Wes back-back-back until he hit the mattress, wrists pinned down as Eric went back to attacking him. This time it was with teeth and suction to the neck, holding on tighter as he simply ripped the horribly expensive shirt open, buttons flying away and Wes keening something like, "Oh my god, you're...really good at this...holy..." "Don't you fucking move," was Eric's base and not joking response, grabbing the band of Wes's pants and yanking them down, along with his underwear; a little smear of pre already staining the front as Wes followed the order but seemed oddly shy about it. He even tried to hide his pretty pink cock with both hands before Eric grabbed both with one of his own, yanking them up above the other's head, and honest to god growled as he leaned down to slip his tongue back into Wes's mouth; the air going thin and hot between them as he took the lead, finally breaking apart to ask, "Where do you want it?" Wes blinked, stupid and red in the face and not understanding the question. Eric illustrated, bringing his spare hand to trace the spit coating swollen lips, before tracing down softly toned abs to curl around the pretty cock, thumb going to tap at the puckering hole. "In the mouth or ass, pretty boy?" Wes practically turned to jelly at the thought of both, but his legs and mouth took their turns before his brain; legs wrapping around Eric's hips and he practically choked out, "...Ass, please. Just...gently?" Eric smiled like a wolf, leaning over to his side table to pull out lube and condom, sneaking in some rocking motions that made Wes say something entirely unintelligible, before ripping the condom open and sliding it over himself with practiced ease. A little glob for the rim of the cute pink hole, a little playful slicking of Wes's cock from top to bottom, thumb playing with the tip, and then Eric slid the nozzle up to the hilt, filled Wes up so much that he started shaking a little, clawing at Eric's shoulders. The repetition of "oh" right up and until Eric slid inside, holding perfectly still until the stiffness of Wes let up from the unexpected pain--like a lit cigarette bouncing off an exposed arm--and then Eric pressing down to give Wes a soft kiss on the side of the mouth.

i don't know all the other reasons people get mad at simon bennett's twitter every week but im generally inclined to cut him some slack bc he produced the only season of power rangers i've cared about in over a decade and made it a priority to introduce the first canonically queer ranger to the main show. there are worse people to be running this show

Slight Hiatus + A new class???
Hi there~!
I wanted to make a quick update on things, just to let you know that at the moment, I am taking a break from "Homebrew classes for Dummies" and by extension the avatar. Just to be clear I will eventually come back to it, but at the moment, it feels like i'm burnt out on the class.
In exchange, I want to tell ya'll about another class i'm working on, one that should fill all of your fiendish and infernal desires. I proudly present
The Harbinger
Inspired by the likes of Ghost Rider and Spawn, harbingers are the infernal warriors of demons, gaining power through a contract with an archdevil. So long as they carry out their contractors will, whether that be to sow chaos, bring unrelenting order, or punishing the wicked.
What does a Harbinger do?
The Harbinger is a half caster similar to Paladin and Ranger, though it derives its spellcasting from the warlocks pact magic feature, so while you have less slots, you recover them on a short or long rest. I took this route because not only does it fit with the classes flavor, but also because I want to experiment with a half pact caster and see how far I can push that idea.
The other big feature of the Harbinger is Infernal Verdict, its more twisted counterpart to Divine Smite, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack you can choose to place a verdict upon them, the verdict can manifest as a glyph, mark or scar.
After dealing damage to the target, you can choose too expend your active verdicts, causing the creatures sins to turn against them. Later level class features allow you expend verdicts to cause other effects, such as poisoned or frightened (Inspired by UA 6's Rogue)
Right now the Harbinger is still in a relatively early phase of development, but I'm proud of how its going. Hopefully I can get it out in a timely manner
Other Information
Alongside the harbinger, the class will come with a compendium of hell themed spells for your games (That will come as part of the harbingers spell list) Sometime in the future I might package the harbinger with some other infernal character and DM options, but only time can tell. That's all I got for the moment, I hope you'll enjoy the harbinger and any other content I put out in the future, see you around. Go out and make some homebrew.

LEV I NEED TZIPPORAH KNOWLEDGE IMMEDIATELY. GIVE IT TO ME. ANSWER 5 QUESTIONS OF YOUR CHOICE FROM THE LIST.
LMAO I LOVE YOU ASH BLESS YOU
Tumblr media
Tell us about your Tav! Name, class and subclass, race, pronouns. Do you have a headcanon for where they're from? Their family? Are they a Dark Urge? Or did you choose an Origin Character? Was it an easy decision?
Lord Tzipporah 'Tzippy' Frostmoon, Storm Sorcerer, Tiefling (Undead), They/Any. They're from a noble family in Baldurs Gate that was cursed to be without magical abilities in their lineage for centuries due to a terrible unspeakable sin committed by a necromancer in their bloodline. That unspeakable sin was born of tragedy in the wake of an attack on a small town by a group of Red Wizards. The Red Wizards had killed a farmers partner and son, so in a desperate attempt to revive them the farmer -- and origin of the Frostmoon bloodline -- they made a pact with Caiphon. It wasn't the revival that was considered a sin though. The farmer kept his farm and family well, amassing wealth and respectfully abiding by Caiphons wishes. It was his great grand son that brought ruin to the homestead by attempting to make a spectacle out of their pact and draw upon a power that wasn't for him. A terrible disease descended upon the farm, the crops died, and the grand son ran from his dying family with all their gold and riches. He started a whole new family in Baldurs Gate and managed to lie his way into a place of nobility. Without gifts and worship given, or even a thank you, Caiphon cursed his lineage just as his daughter was about to be born. Magic would be erased from them until a certain time in the future when a child would be born with Caiphons eldritch blood flowing through them. That would be Tzipporah who was born with the tell tale eldritch sign in their left eye that glowed bright, radiant purple. Their family sought to marry them to an influential wizard from Waterdeep (yes I am talking about Gale lol) but they ran off with their boyfriend Marith when they found this out (Marith is an asshole do not route for Marith).
The undead part would come later. It was hard not choosing the Dark Urge again LMAO but I'm having fun with their background for sure!
2. Was there something about the character creator that just couldn't capture your Character? Please tell us about their hair, facial hair, tattoos, piercings, disabilities, their trans or intersex body, or anything else you're comfortable sharing.
Much like me, Tzipporah has issues with chronic pain! Specifically in their legs. They use a cane to help with this and braces as well. They also should have some piercings in their ears but for some reason it didn't register in the CC LOL. They're also supposed to have top surgery done but the mod I was using wasn't working I guess? RIP
19. Did your Character spend a night with a companion either the night of the party or earlier? Is it someone they have a continued interest in?
I fully intend on romancing Astarion again LOL. They're going to spend a night with him, and definitely will have a continued interest in him as well. If I can make it work they'll be in a polyam romance with Gale and Astarion, though they did not intend at first to be with Gale considering he's someone they were engaged to before. I think there's something spicy about an unintended and assumed unrequited love that way that blossoms into something very sweet.
23. What are your Character's thoughts on the dream visitor?
At first Tzipporah is interested in what they have to say and knows they look like Marith, who they don't remember too well (due to the whole dying thing). It isn't until their memories start to solidify again that they begin associating the dream visitor with manipulation and they actively don't want to talk to them, and develop insomnia because of this.
30. Do you have other pets as a ranger or in headcanon?
Tzipporah will eventually have a cat familiar! I'm not sure what their name will be but I really want them to have an emotional support animal of the cat variety, probably a main coon!

I want to start reading the power rangers comic which one should I pick?
mmmm well that depends on what you want to read tbh!!! If you want to read the big ongoing main series that includes MMPR, GGPR, and MM/PR, the reading order is such:
GGPR #1 - #20 and finishing with Forever Rangers, along with the Back to School special (GGPR #8-#12 are tied to the Shattered Grid event because there’s time travel nonsense happening. So there are technically spoilers for MMPR #25-onward there.  So you can either pause at GGPR #8 and start MMPR until they sync up or you can just roll with it because at this point who doesn't already know what happens in Shattered Grid)
MMPR #0 - #39
GGPR #21 - #32
MMPR #40 - #55
and then continuing with the relaunch.  Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers are TECHNICALLY separate books but you're obviously supposed to read them together. So Mighty Morphin #1, then Power Rangers #1, then Mighty Morphin #2, and so on.
Other books tied to the main series but not 100% required reading to follow the plot are the Power Rangers Unlimited books (Heir to Darkness, Edge of Darkness, and Countdown to Ruin), Ranger Slayer #1 and Drakkon New Dawn, and Power Rangers Universe. You can also read these without reading the main series but you'll lose a lot of context.
Books not tied to the main series at all are the MMPR crossovers (MMPR/Justice League, MMPR/TMNT, MMPR/Godzilla), the PINK miniseries, the annuals (except the 2018 annual, which is tied to Shattered Grid, and on occasion the main books make tiny references to annual stories. But at this point a lot of the annual stories contradict the main series so there's really no point), the anniversary book, and the graphic novels (Soul of the Dragon, Psycho Path, and Sins of the Future).
so yeah!!! it's really up to you if you want to dive into the big ongoing story or just want to read something smaller for fun

An old man wandered down within Route 7. A full suit the yells a musician yet a face that will sour a soul’s day by just being around him. Arriving at Celestial Tower as he examines the structure and entered inside to meet people who are paying respects to their loved ones and Pokémon.. the man scoffed from the sight.. “Pathetic. Why be saddened over simple tools?” Gordor said to himself as he marched upwards, but the more he did, the angrier and annoyed from he was witnessing.
Finally reaching the top of the tower, he began to hear something… or someone? They sounded like they were singing to the heavens above them all, and him being a musician in the past his curiosity got the best of him as he reached upstairs. Meeting the scores of the song is coming from an woman as well getting a clear hearing from her.
“Come my love be on with the sea
Rule with me for all eternity
Drown our dreams so mercilessly
And leave their souls to me…
I’ll play the song I sang long ago
And whenever the storm my blow
You will find the key to my heart
We will never be apart…”
She sang out gently, almost like a lullaby of sorts to the old man. Yet to him, it was soothingly hypnotic to him… reminding him of the sins he’s done to the Pokémon back at Fiore. He was soon snapped out of his trance as the woman took noticed of his presence. “My! Now this is a surprise.~ I do hope you enjoyed my little song… I and my husband are planning to sing the same melody together, a duet.” She cheerfully spoke.
“A-Ah! My apologizes… I’ve just arrived here and decided to take a look… I don’t know why they made this blasted tower this cramped and the stairway long! Ugh!” He complained, but quickly took in his manners as the woman looked surprised to hear. “I… I apologize, I’m not use to such environment. I am Gordor, a Wandering Musician… or I was one.” He huffs out, until hearing the woman softly chuckle.
“Oh no worries, even I don’t like crowded places as well.~ And Gordor… I believe I have heard that name somewhere, unfortunately I cannot remember.” She pouts a bit, until turning over to the old man. “I am Mira, I’m only visiting here to have privacy for my melody time. Now what truly brought you here under this night?”
“Looking for better ways… to become more stronger. This world saw me in second place of everything, and I wish to get out of it! If it wasn’t-” Gordor stopped himself as he turned over to Mira with such curiosity. “Erm- Uh… I… I am looking how to make my technology better…”
Mira looked interested, having a dark smirk form underneath her innocence mask. “I can help you with that.~ Yet there is something in return I want you to do.~” Mira wickedly spoke, causing Gordor to look confused until he sees Mira’s Emerald-Mint eyes glowed under the crescent moon, even her pupils showed a purple slit form. Even the glow of the moon showed her shadow, revealing to be some sort of a dragon… Gordor after so long of himself facing down Entei, he is now afraid once again.
“Wh-What in Arceus-” Gordor gasped upon looking into her eyes, she is human…but at the same time, she is beyond human… and more. Witnessing heartache of loss, defeat, and a time she believed her husband was gone. Fueled her rage furthermore.. Now seeing his own future, full of power and might yet he wasn’t alone with this new feeling of conquest. He isn’t alone.
“I and Cipher can bring you and the others back to full glory, but in exchange we will need your help. Help us take down the Wiccans, and we’ll help take down the Rangers.” She held out her hand to the once technologically and scientific man… deep down, he felt a burning desire…a desire he thought was extinguished a long time ago. And he wanted it.
Finally released from the unknown spell, carefully panted as he regained his composure. “I’ll do it… and from what I saw, I’m honestly glad I’m no longer alone in this…” Gordor spoke raspy, he was still surprised to see actual magic play out..
Tumblr media
“Good, whatever you need it will be provided. Everyone plays a part, and we must play them well.” Mira spoke softly, yet there was a sinister aura forming in the air. “If not-” She hissed as Gordor panted heavily as he felt his mind slowly chained as his eyes glowed to match Mira’s. “Consequences will be made… yet knowing you, I can see you’ll quickly know your position.” She gently held his chin as she sees the man struggling. “Our new base is being made as we speak… I apologize for this. For now.. Rest.”
Her words echoed within his ears as Gordor collapsed to the ground, everything faded to darkness. He felt himself floating in a void; not sure if he is falling or flying… until looking forward to see a small light. Growing bigger and bigger until he felt… pecking? “Ugh… Who’s there?…” As he opened his eyes, he was greeted with a concerned Murkrow, softly cawing at him as Gordor’s reaction froze a second… Finally- “GAH!! You annoying pest!! Get off me!” He howled, scaring the Murkrow away now looking at his new surroundings.
“Welcome, and I apologize for my friend here.” A young woman wearing tech armor spoke, making the Murkrow fly to her. “My name is Dimah, Lady Mira informed me we have a new ally! Although I didn’t agree with her method of bringing you here like that, but I’m here now!” Dimah spoke cheerfully making Gordor confused to oblivion. “We are setting up ya lad for ya, you can do the final touches if you wish. Follow me please.”
Gordor quickly got up as he followed the girl to his supposedly new lab, looking over to her with curiosity along with annoyance upon seeing the Murkrow. “May I ask how I was brought here? And why if all Pokémon, would you have THAT one?..” He huffed out.
“Cuz why not? I like Murkrows, I’m grateful that this little guy managed to not get hurt from a Crobat. The nerve of those annoying bats!” She huffed out, until looking back to him. “All I know is that Lady Mira brought you here, all passed out. I had a hunch she used her own hypnosis… I personally think you’ll be trustworthy. Just don’t get on their bad side. Okay?” She told him, finally bringing Gordor to his new office. Full of technical and scientific equipment, even found his old notes to his Super Capture Styler. “I’ll leave you to ya new office. Hope you like it!~”
As soon Dimah left, Gordor felt excitement as he laughed deeply. A true fire has fully ignited after so long and after so many years of hate, giving a dark grin. “Cipher truly didn’t disappoint.~ Perhaps with my talents and Cipher’s advances… Hastings, you’ll deeply regret EVERYTHING you’ve done.. you and ALL of the Rangers… Mark. My. Words.”

even if power rangers tried to set up aliens integrating into human society by 2025 to tie into spd it still wouldn’t make sense bc spd had flashbacks to when z was a kid and she was going to school with aliens so like. if the timeline made any sense aliens would’ve become part of earth’s culture around the late 00s/early 10s. i know nobody working on spd thot the show would still be on in 20 years but attaching a specific year to their scifi setting was kind of a bonehead move

Rewatched Power Rangers Time Force because I heard about the new comic Sins Of The Future coming out focused on Wes and Jen and what happened after the series finale. Was wanting to rewatch it anyway. The best Power Rangers series hands down. Such a nostalgia trip. As a kid and even now 19-20 years later this series is still fantastic. The darkest series and some fantastic quotes I still remember to this day. Very excited for the new comic. Wes and Jen were two of the best characters in the whole Power Rangers series. Can't wait to read Sins Of The Future

COMIC REVIEW - POWER RANGERS: SINS OF THE FUTURE
On Wednesday, October 28th, POWER RANGERS: Sins of the Future will be released from Boom Studios. News first broke of this graphic novel back in February, and next week the wait is over! Over the past couple of months BOOM! Studios have given us a first look, a preview earlier this month, and another preview just yesterday!
When Jen returns from the future, she and Wes are attacked by a mysterious stranger who has dire news — the timelines have been altered with deadly consequences and Jen is to blame! The shocking identity of their accuser sets them on a collision path with an enemy they never expected. Can Jen and Wes survive the threats to their pasts, presents and futures? Or will it be the end of everything as they know it?
Host Eric (@trekkieb47) had a chance to read the issue in advance and shares his review:
“Will the our actions in the past define us forever? Is it within our ability to change by looking back at the past? Only if we are willing to make tough choices and commit to them through hard work.
Power Rangers: Sins of the Future is a fascinating story steeped in the lore of Power Rangers Time Force and, by extension, Power Rangers HyperForce. Serving as a sequel to the first and a prequel of the other, Sins of the Future takes place five years after the events of the show in both the past and the future timelines.
Through past previews of the comic, we see that Jen Scotts and Wes Collins are trying to maintain their relationship despite orders from Time Force Command. To Time Force, it’s strictly all business and no pleasure to stop rogue Cyclobots with no master. Jen and Wes have other plans with the time remaining on one particular trip, and it ends in explosive disaster… literally. With the appearance of a new Black Time Force Power Ranger, the mystery is only beginning.
Overall, I enjoyed Power Rangers: Sins of the Future. Writers Matthew Erman and Trey Moore (story by credit) did their homework when writing this, making a satisfying sequel to Power Rangers Time Force that stays true to the continuity of the show. This story slots nicely to explain events that happened in HyperForce, the Power Rangers Ninja Steel crossover ‘Dimensions in Danger’ and even the comics event Shattered Grid.
My note to readers is to take it slow and really pay attention to small details and the dialogue. Otherwise, you may miss small cameos by a few HyperForce characters. Being a show based in time travel, Power Rangers Time Force actually did very little of that. This graphic novel did a complete one-eighty, with timeline changes and glimpses into the past and future of the Power Rangers universe. I would almost suggest watching a few important episodes of Time Force before reading the graphic novel. I admit having to look up a couple characters I forgot about, but overall if you are a huge fan of the series this shouldn’t be a problem.
As for serving as a prequel to HyperForce, it’s ok if you did not watch the online RPG from Hyper RPG. Although faithful watchers of that show will be excited with the references made to the early formation of the branch of Time Force. I was pleased with how the graphic novel opened up for more narrative possibilities in the future.
In regards to the art, Guiseppe Cafaro makes his return from past original graphic novels, Power Rangers: The Psycho Path and Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon. Cafaro continues the wonderfully detailed artwork with rich setting and accurate representation of actor’s likenesses. It seems like BOOM! Studio has made him the official artist for these one shot stories and I hope that trend continues! The colors by Francesco Segala are vibrant, mixed with wonderful effects that bring the art to life and enhance the time effects we see. As always, letterer Ed Dukeshire is a power force for everything Power Rangers, and this issue is no exception.
Power Rangers: Sins of the Future continues the trend of fantastic original graphic novels for the franchise. It’s a shame we get these only once a year, but patience is rewarded with quality. Highly recommended.”
