Protector AU: First Meeting

Lucifer: Okay, so Razzle and Dazzle are doing a good job protecting Charlie, but....

Kid Charlie: Baaa! (Headbutts Razzle)

Lucifer: ......She needs a person around.... Fuck... (pulls out his phone and dials a number)

Adam: (answers) Fuck you want?

Lucifer: Look. I don't like you, and you don't like me. But.... I need a favor.

Adam: Oh-Ho! And why would I help you?

Lucifer: I can literally make you the best barbecue ribs in all of creation.

Adam: ........Whatchu need?

Lucifer: I need a bodyguard for my daughter. She's five years old and needs another person around.

Adam: Say no more, asshole. I got the perfect girl for ya.

Lucifer: Oh! Thank Heavens! Can you bring her down tonight? I'll make those ribs, and we can all get acquainted.

Adam: Yeah, yeah, sure. Sounds good. Whatever.

-Later-

Lucifer: (eye twitch)

Adam: Soooo, what do you think?

Lucifer: (gazing down at kid Vaggie, who is trying to stand up straight as professionally as possible woth a small, child sized spear and a nervous look in her eye) She's... a girl.

Adam: Yup!

Lucifer: A LITERAL girl.

Adam: Sure is! One of my best in this age bracket!

Lucifer: I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO BRING AN ADULT!!!!

Adam: Why would I waste one of my best girls on your daughter?

Lucifer: (steaming mad)

Kid Charlie: Daddy, is my new friend here yet? (Sees kid Vaggie trying to stand tall and official) GASP!!! Hi!!! I'm Charlie!!!

Kid Vaggie: (blushes and backs up half a step) .....Vadgie.

Kid Charlie: (bounds up to Vaggie like an excited puppy) It's so nice to meet you, Vaggie! Oh, my gosh! You have wings! They're so cool! Can I touch them? Please?

Kid Vaggie: (blushing at the much better sounding mispronounced version of her name as she slowly backs up more) N-No, please.

Kid Charlie: (steps forward) Please?! They look so soft! And you're really pretty!

Kid Vaggie: (baby gay panics and starts running around the adults' legs in a circle)

Kid Charlie: Oh! Tag! I love tag! I'm it! (Starts chasing Vaggie in circles while giggling)

Lucifer: .........

Adam: Have fun, asshole! (Disappears)

Lucifer: (continues watching Charlie chase Vaggie around the foyer) Yaaaaaaay.....

"Was our friendship a lie?" Rhaenyra wonders, looking from a roaring fire in the fireplace at Daemon. Despite the fire, she feels cold deep down in her bones and sadness deep down in her heart. "Or was it a long-term plan to gain our trust and then…" She just can't finish this sentence. It's a betrayal, or she feels it is a betrayal, her trust was broken the same second as Alicent entered her father's room, in a dress appropriate for a more mature woman, but not a girl of their age.

Daemon watches the fire in the fireplace, sitting as well in the armchair. He doesn't know much. After all, he isn't there for a long time. But she still waits for his answer, staring at him unblinking, holding a goblet with a mulled wine.

"I wasn't there from the start." He finally answers, turning to face her. "But judging from what I know, I don't think it was a lie back when you and her were just children."

They are not children now. And tonight their friendship ended. She can't trust Alicent anymore. Especially as she was so distant and cold after her mother died.

And especially after what happened.

Rhaenyra really wanted to believe Alicent wouldn't come to her father, that Daemon got everything wrong, but Alicent came.

Rhaenyra turns back to a fire, then takes a sip from her goblet.

"We aren't children anymore, and she and I … I should be careful with her." She tells him quietly.

And with Otto. Because it's Otto who is behind Alicent’s back.

She never like the man.

This takes place in my AU, The Protectors of Joy, where the critters are chosen by The Angel to protect lands from The Hand of Chaos and his minions. And I guess the main ship is DogDay x CatNap. I do not know when exactly they share a kiss, but this scene will happen.

I found an au on dapperwerewolf's tag list that caught my attention. It's called the Protector au. Gonna see if I can expand on it, make it fun and intersting. Jealous!KK anyone?

Protector au

Akito doesn't get into an accident at the start of the game.

Somehow he isn't taken by the fog.

KK wasn't killed by Hannya.

Hannya had to make a copy of KK's body to put Yaseotoke in.

KK meets up with Erika and Rinko, preventing them from being killed.

Akito manages to make it to the hospital, and meets Hannya and Yaseotoke in Mari's room.

Hannya decides to kill Akito himself, but Yaseotoke saves Akito, taking him away to safety.

The duo finds shelter with the Nekomatas.

Akito has a panic attack and is comforted by some baby Nekomatas.

Yaseotoke rescues Mari.

The Nekomatas has an artifact that could heal Mari.

With Akito and Mari safe, Yaseotoke heads out to deal with Hannya.

Cut to the end of the game, and Hannya is fighting KK/his team.

Suddenly, Yaseotoke burst in on the scene.

Hannya, thinking Yaseotoke came back to help him, orders him to kill KK/his team.

Yaseotoke throws off his mask, kills Hannya, and leaves.

KK: "Did that thing have my fucking face?!"
