i read your jeongin fic last night but was too sleepy to send an ask so here i am now 😂 you really have a good hand at writing fantasy. i swear it's like your imagination has no limits 😮 have i told you i really love fantasy aus? maybe one of my favorite genres in fanfiction ever 😂 idk why but the fic made me think of howl's moving castle, like it was the vibe i was getting from it. especially during the parts wherein they held like a blue colored flame, one of the first things that came into my mind was calcifer 😂 im probably just rambling now xodnnxnd aaaa i dont know how else to say that i loved it other than keyboard smashing or rambling 🤣 okay but seriously, how do you like write? like where do you take your inspirations from and how do you bring them to life???? :OOO im genuinely curious

oh my gosh look at the butterflies... not going to lie, I'm very proud of that one so it makes me SO happy to hear that you enjoyed it this much!!!!! fantasy is one of my favorite genres to write too (and skz just seems to fit it all!! hence why half of my skz fics are fantasy nksdjgn) and I'm really glad that you got those vibes from the fic. I've never watched a ghibli movie (sue me, yes I plan to watch them this summer kjsng) but I've seen gifs and clips and read analyses and look at the butterflies was very much a story whose vibes I wanted to be similar to the feeling of peace and tranquility people say they get watching ghibli movies :) please don’t apologize for rambling I'm HERE for it I love listening to other’s thoughts on my works???? I tend to do the same thing when I talk about other’s works too kjsdngjh. 

and as for inspiration.... it’s just. I honestly don’t really know? I might see a writing prompt somewhere and an idea springs to life, or I'll see a Tumblr post that sparks inspiration (like the one I've linked in look at the butterflies - I have a platonic tbz hyunjae fic queued that was based off a Tumblr post too but I can’t find it for the life of me nksjdg). I guess I don’t really know what to say but that inspiration is everywhere, in published books or in conversations with my mutuals or YouTube videos or other fanfiction I read. also a big part of my writing comes from not finding the fics I want to read and just being like aight guess I have to write them myself cnsdkjHSDF

reading fics IS the guilty pleasure itself HAJSH self-indulgent crap and visualizing me with some idol i will never date/hold irl? i rarely find fics that i enjoy bc mcs are often too nice for me to even feel like i fit as the mc. so i go on the hunt for fics with troubled mcs and well go there for comfort (?) kinda. is that enough? as for writing, i love making it hurt both for the reader and the characters. yes, suffer bwahahah

@/inktae, @/jeonginks, and @/by-moonflower - all three writers have the capability to immerse me in their fics. i'm a HUGE fan of their writing styles and i aspire to be that good in writing too. made me read fics of people i don't even stan and i wasn't really keen abt writer-made worlds but they changed my mind.
