Another Life Season 1
If we look at the summary of the first season of Another Life, the complete season revolves around the story that a flying object that lands on the earth grow out a crystal shell and a scientist that has been employed by the Interstellar Command of the US fails to discover a path to communicate with it. To find the origin of the artifact, her wife takes the spaceship and the crew members along with her for the mission. Along with the main characters, the season also has some guest appearances. We have mentioned the list of episodes that were released in the first season. Two or more episodes in this season might have a similar scriptwriter or director. The episodes were released under the titles:
“Across the Universe”
“Through the Valley of Shadows”
“Nervous Breakdown”
“Guilt Trip”
“A Mind of its Own”
“I Think We’re Alone Now”
“Living the Dream”
How the Light Gets Lost”

Another Life Season 2
On April 26, 2018, Netflix gave an order of a ten-episode series to the production company, which was confirmed to be released as a complete season on July 25, 2019. After the release of the first season of Another Life, Netflix renewed the series for the second season on October 29, 2019. The second season of Another Life was set to be shot on the same location as that of season one from March 2, 2020. However, it got delayed due to the pandemic. There were no official statements related to the release of season 2 for a long time. It seemed like the viewers will have to wait for a reasonable time. The delay in the arrival of the second season series, as already discussed, happened due to the pandemic. However, it now seems like the filming of the second season will start in a short span.
Many questions need to be answered in the second season, as only the crew that has gone for the research knows about the alien race and their intentions if they want to destroy or enslave the human race. Even after saving the Zakir from the artifact that was destroying the planet, the crew sees new aliens evolving out.
Another Life Season 2: Release Date
The filming of Another Life Season 2 got delayed due to the pandemic. Still, the sources have now revealed that the filming of the episodes will start from July 20, 2020, and the filming will last till summer endings, and around September 9, 2020. Season 2 of Another Life can be expected to get released in the middle of 2021.
Another Life Season 2: Cast
The cast of Another Life Season 2 is similar to the cast of the first season where you can see Katee Sackoff, who is playing the role of Captain Niko Breckinridge, Justin Chatwin, who plays the role of Erik Wallace. Selma Blayer is playing the role of Herper Glass. Alex Ozerov plays the role of Oliver Sokolov, and Samuel Anderson is playing the role of William.

Another Life
[3 stars]
Imagine Close Encounters of the Third Kind, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Nightflyers all melded into one. In many ways, this is what Nighflyers wanted to be, but missed on so many levels. But Another Life is much more space opera than it is science fiction. Science is, at best, a convenient idea to be used or changed as needed (yes, even worse than Star Trek because it feels more like science fiction). Knowing that going in, despite the trappings of the show, will keep you from getting agitated later (assuming you care about such things).
Katee Sackhoff  (2036: Origin Unknown) delivers a complex and strong female leader. Admittedly, the script has her doing some stupid things at times, but her emotional core is solid. The rest of the shipboard cast, with two exceptions, do well too. Samuel Anderson (Doctor Who, DCI Banks) navigates a difficult road to sentience…your mileage may vary on the results, but it is still a complicated performance. Likewise Blu Hunt, A.J. Rivera, Alex Ozerov (Cardinal), and JayR Tinaco created shipboard life that is at once interesting and, in some ways, ridiculous. But that is more a problem of the Space Opera approach than it is the actors.
Unfortunately, there were also some weaker, or at least uneven performances as well. Top among those were Jake Abel (Love & Mercy) and Jessica Camacho (The Flash). Neither had a subtle bone in their body and, in the case of Abel especially, no presence whatsoever. Back on Earth, Selma Blair (Anger Management), who I normally enjoy, was just as imprecise and unreal in her pivotal role, which was a shame.
The other main Earth-locked cast was fairly solid. Justin Chatwin (Doctor Who: The Return of Doctor Mysterio) and the young Lina Renna make a great anchor for Sackhoff’s character.
Creator Aaron Martin has a diverse writing background on shows from Degrassi: The Next Generation, to Being Erica, and SyFy romp Killjoys. He isn’t afraid to push limits or relationships and it shows. This series takes a very matter-of-fact approach to the broad spectrum of sexuality that only Sense8 has really challenged in the genre so far. This isn’t the driver for the action, but it certainly adds some nice aspects to the characters and story.
The story also attempts, rather ham-handedly to be honest, to raise the challenge of understanding an alien mind. How much human psychology can you assign to actions and questions an alien raises? How closely will AI evolve to be like or dislike its creators?
I can’t say I ever was sure of the title: Another Life. It has interesting resonance throughout the story, changing as it goes. By the end of this first series I was still unsure of the intention, but had flipped through various options. Perhaps that was the point, but it never felt reflected in the characters.
This show is also a great example of being better streaming than it would have been on broadcast. The story is relentless, ending episodes on intriguing points or cliffhangers and starting off, often, with new situations. In other words, it pulls you along nicely for a binge. If, however, it had been released on a 1-a-week schedule, it would never have hooked in a audience because of that rhythm.
For some interesting distraction, this is a fun series. I’m hoping that it not only gets a second round, but that they learn from this first and take the scripts up a notch. It wouldn’t take much to take it to a higher level and really build out a franchise.

Another Life season 2: Katee Sackhoff hints more to come after season 2
If you love sci-fi movies shows, then Another Life Season 2 will be best for you. Netflix is releasing a plethora of series and movies every month. Moreover, the streaming service is investing their time more in the sci-fi genre.
Another Life series belongs from the most precious genre, which was premiered on July 25, 2019, on Netflix. As per the sources, the series might be coming back with a brand new second season. Continue reading to find out more about the release date, cast, and plot of the new season.
Another Life Series Cast
Another Life series contains some well-known faces of Hollywood. Niko Breckinridge is the central character of the show played by Katee Sackhoff. Selma Blair portrays the role of Harper Glass, who is a media reporter.
Tyler Hoechlin from Teen Wolf series plays the role of Astronaut Ian Yerxa. He is the former commander of The Salvare space exploration ship whose spot is taken by Niko. Sadly, he won’t be returning in the next season after getting killed by Niko.
Another Life season 2 from netflix
Moreover, War of the Worlds star Justin Chatwin plays as Niko’s husband, Erik Wallace. Samuel Anderson appears in the series as holographic interface William while Blu Hunt plays as August, the youngest member and an engineer on the spaceship.
The additional cast of the show includes Elizabeth Ludlow, Alexander Eling, A.J Rivera, Alex Ozerov, JayR Tinaco, Jake Abel, Barbara Williams, Jessica Camacho, Lina Renna, and Greg Hovanessian.
Will Another Life return for a season 2?
Source: The Hollywood Inquirer
Netflix hasn’t officially announced whether they will return with Another Life season 2 or not. However, Katee Sackhoff, who plays as Niko recently revealed that the series might run for three more seasons.
It means the show has potential and an excellent storyline to continue. Furthermore, Katee added that she loves the entire cast and her character. She will do everything to bring back the show.
God damn it @netflix; when I saw trailer for #Anotherlife a whole sci-fi series, not just a movie, I was ecstatic that we got another #TheExpanse , but this drivel is just terrible. I'm so disappointed! It feels like a home schooled teenager wrote it.
— Ra Amarr (@RaAmarr1) July 25, 2019
Unfortunately, the critic and viewers were unsatisfied with the first season. Also, the series didn’t gain enough votes on Rotten Tomatoes. Moreover, Netflix may or may not bring a new season.
I just finished ‘Another Life" from netflix
Another Life season 2 plot: What will happen next? (No Spoilers)
In the season 1 finale, Harper Glass (Selma Blair) said to the people of Earth that Achaia (aliens) aren’t a threat to the planet. They are peaceful beings just like them who want to be friends. However, Achaia is controlling her mind.
youtube
On the other hand, Erik (Justin Chatwin) doesn’t know the true intentions of Achaia who has taken his daughter Jana (Lina Renna) to find a cure for leukemia. Fans may see another destruction in the second season same like which happened on Zakir planet. They might even see the Salvare ship and its crew returned to the planet.
Another Life season 2 release date: When will it premiere?
Currently, we have no clue when the show would return with Another Life season 2. According to sources, the show might return after 2020. We also haven’t heard any official announcement yet from the creators.
After the season 1 ending, viewers would be surprised if it doesn’t get a second season. If the show gets renewed, then our best guess is that season 2 will premiere in 2020. We will update you guys as soon as hear more about Another Life season 2.

A Current Analysis and Reflective Of Moving To Los Angeles
It’s currently 2:30pm Sunday July 8th 2018 and i’ve decided to take some time to reflect on my move to Los Angeles. I moved on the 16th of May 2018 with my friend Bobby into a sublease close to the campus of USC. Moving in was nice. We bought air mattresses for the time being, bought tv’s (I saw Yessica) and slowly started to make our place feel like home. Bobby forgot his playstation power adapter so one night we ran out to a store in Koreatown called Game and Video where they were watching a pirated version of Black Panther and had an Adult store section right behind all of the games, it was quite an LA experience. Spent some time with Jenny at her place for a few nights and it was fun. Met up with Bobby and showed him Graystone Mansion. We got to cook meals together, hiked Runyon Canyon, and spent the much needed time with each other that we’ve been lacking. Met up with Renna and some of her coworkers at a bar in North Hollywood with pool tables. Watched Deadpool 2 with Bobby and Jenny. Started working my first “real” production assistant job at a show called TKO. It was a literal blast. I loved everything about it and the crew, such a cool time. And I got to work at the CBS studios in Studio City. Hit up Smorgusburg LA with Jenny twice, and finally had Lobsterdamus! Walked Venice with Bobby, getting to know the USC campus as well including the bookstore and using Pokemon Go along the way. Met my roomates, Beverly (briefly), George, Kobi and Isaac. Made some pizza’s with them (having to avoid the fire alarms that blast when just turning the oven on). Saw the Beverly Center with Jenny. Watched Ocean’s 8 with Alex, Dylan and Tyler, and also saw Overboard with Alex and Tyler. Finally saw Incredibles 2 with Jenny at the Grove! And we also watched Hereditary. Watched American Animals with Alex. Almost lost my credit card inside a pack of gum. Got my hat almost snatched by a homeless person asking for money. Saw another homeless guy shitting on the sidewalk of the Von’s store. Worked as a PA on Vanderpump Gay Pride and OOTD. Also worked on Double Take and drove Pamela Anderson to her hotel. Went to the La Brea Tar Pits. Went to the Brickyard with Jenny, Renna, Bobby and members of the crew of TKO. Saw the KSI vs. Logan Paul press conference right down the road from where we live at the LA Coliseum. Had a party at our apartment, was pretty litty. Saw a cat art gallery and saw Grand Central. Bought a Mexican World Cup Jersey. Kenny came to visit for his birthday and Crystal visited as well during the same time. Stopped at Wahlburgers, rode our longboards, played catan. Met up with Renna and Crystal for Korean BBQ and surprised them showing up with Kenny. Went to Six Flags. Did the Hollywood Sign hike with no water. :O Went to Venice Beach and then met up with Renna at her apartment to play games and hangout. Went to In N Out the next day and visited Hollywood Boulevard then saw the Mulholland Overlook then we stopped at the Grove and walked around and hit up a birthday party for Chris. Took Kenny to Grand Central and stopped to eat lunch then went out for Liz’s birthday at an arcade bar but the ended up at a karaoke bar. Then on his last day waking up hungover we went to Malibu and hungout for awhile. Checked out an apartment with Jenny and Crystal in North Hollywood. Went to see Mondo Cozmo and Vance Joy with Alex. Kobi’s ex girlfriend showing up at the apartment to confront her. And various days/nights of pokemon go, fortnite and runescape. It’s been very eventful to say the least!! So much to see and do! But one thing that needs to change, is my current financial situation. I am not making enough for how much i’m paying for. I really need to start being more productive and looking into more things. Especially not eating out and spending unnecessary amounts of money on things. I’ve been spending waaaaaay too much money on eating out and paying for ubers. And I need to get my car out here PRONTO. It was also like 107 degrees this week and we have no air conditioning in our apartment, just box fans. I’m literally dying. But is everything going well so far? Apart from the eating and making enough money part, yes. But i’m starting to feel the sense of urgency and worry to growing up and being on my own. But we’ll see how it all plays out. I’m also hoping that my relationship gets better, we’ve both noticed the bumps and hopefully we can talk more about smoothing them out. I’m working for Kidz Bop tomorrow driving a very big truck, so hopefully that goes well, along with another gig driving to Solvang with the VP crew. So far I don’t regret it, I just feel as though i’m getting to become distant with my family. They don’t call me very often. And it sucks and I miss them. But I chose this path and i’m in it for the long run now. So hopefully everything works out but we shall see.
