Oh and by "I hate when they're like 'decades have passed' (doesn't show it)" I don't mean I want Naruto level flashbacks every 5-10 minutes . I mean I just want them to just show how things progress than to just switch back and forth between present time and flashbacks . That and filler is why I literally never finished Shippuden LMFAO . So the fast timeskip at the end of this week's episode was just ??? For me because I really don't want them to do that . Every week FNAE makes me more and more worried with how this story is going to progress and I mean that in a shitty writing way ... The art has also been incredibly inconsistent lately . They keep changing art styles , how they draw certain characters , etc . I remember Tonari's skin tone being alot darker and more .... Vibrant ? But it looks like they decided to randomly desaturate it or make her lighter which is .... Not good . But that might just be me seeing things

Sugawara-no Michizane died in Dazaifu after only  two years from his expulsion. And soon people in Kyoto saw many weird matters, matters of life and death.  Many persons who were  Fujiwara-no Tokihira side died mysterious deaths. Tokihira was an opponent and enemy of Michizane.

At first 藤原定国FUJIWARA-NO SADAKUNI died at 41 years old young. Next, 藤原菅根FUJIWARA-NO SUGANE was killed in a thunderbolt. These two persons were ringleaders who  had elimiminated Michizane from Kyoto.Next year, Tokihira died at 39 years old. At that time Kyoto had an epidemic of bad disease. Also Tokihira was sick in bed. Legend says that Michizane appeared, taking a dragon's figure, in front of the person who arranged to cure Tokihira. Michizane, of course, attempted to prevent people from nursing Tokihra.

But it was not the end of his revenge. One nobleman went missing as he dropped into a bog. Two princes died one after another. In A.D.930, it was 27 years after Michizane's death, there was a big fire at the palace. The very dark cloud was coming  over the palace. And lightning flashed many times with huge thunderclaps.The palace was struck by lightning and burned. A nobleman was beaten by it directly to die. The emperor at that time was shocked too much and died 3 months after that incident.  These two men were on Tokihira's side.  

Kyoto people regarded these disaster as Michizane's 祟りTATARI( the rivenge after death). And tried to comfort his spirit.

Now you can find a magnificient shrine in Kamigyou-ku, Kyoto. It is 北野天満宮KITANO TENMANGU. The god worshiped here is Sugarara-no Michizane. This shrine was built to comfort his spirit.

He was a great scholar during his lifetime. So nowdays we worship him as a god of scholarship.Please visit this shrine on new year's day. You can see many many school students worship him, praying their success in entrance exam.

The verdict? Riven is easily the best Myst game from my own personal standpoint. I'm glad I finally got to beat it after so long. I feel as if I have redeemed myself for years of unfinished business.
