hi!! okay, I was thinking... !riventrix! how about we make riv deal with some periods...

Riven got out of bed the morning after Beatrix had slept over (Riven had put up with Stella staying the night before so now Sky had to put up with Beatrix), glad once again that Andreas didn't enforce the only two people in a dorm room at a time rule. All he demanded was that they tell him the story of how they all got stuck in the shower together and needed rescuing or how someone got duct taped to the ceiling or any of the other stuff they got up to.

Riven glanced down and saw a red patch on the sheets. He shook Beatrix awake and started checking himself for injuries.

"Which of us is bleeding? If we've got cuts with that much blood and not feeling it there's a problem." Riven tried to look at his back without much success.

"Oh fuck!" Beatrix sat up, looks at the sheet and then down at herself. Then she sprinted for the bathroom grabbing her phone on the way.

"Beatrix?" Riven called through the door. "If you're injured let me help."

"I'm not injured. My period came early," Beatrix yelled back.

"That's good. Not sure Rosalind could handle being a grandmother." Sky sat up with a smirk.

"Wouldn't it be Andreas's grandchild?" Riven asked forgetting for a moment who he was speaking to. The combat boot narrowly missing his head was probably deserved. Sky wasn't smirking anymore.

"Inspection," Andreas yelled five minutes later before walking in like it was his living and making Riven jump out of his skin. He couldn't decide if he hated that more than the way Saul did it which was to wait just long enough for them to panic at the state of their room but not long enough to actually dispose of the weed in it. Riven was positive the man had perfected the timings over many years as headmaster.

"Really now?" Sky asked, throwing his legs out of bed.

"No," Andreas said, closing the door. He had a bag with him and as he knocked on the bathroom door and spoke quietly against it, Riven saw the door open and the bag be pushed through.

Oh. Oh. It was supplies and a change of clothes for Beatrix. Riven felt a bit of an idiot for not realising she'd need anything.

"Let's get this bed changed then. Strip the bed, Riven, and throw it down the hatch like normal. I'll get new sheets." Andreas walked out as if nothing unusual was happening.

Sky watched him go sadly.

"I want that. I had that with Saul. But I want it with both of them. Does that make me greedy?" Sky asked quietly.

Riven didn't know how to answer, wasn't even sure speaking would be appropriate after Sky had admitted how he felt. Instead Riven squeezed his arm and got to work changing the bed.

💥 FATE WINX SAGA SEASON 2 SPOILERS 💥

OK, SO

I did watch the season 2 of "fate: the winx saga" last night.

And it was...a mess.

Be aware that I view Fate and the (original) winx as two different series. I don't expect (nor' do I want to) the same story, the same characters, and the same relantionship. Let's not forget that this is based on the winx original series. It's not a copy of it. What would be the point of that?????

So my opinions about this won't be the same as my opinions on the animated winx series. I don't see the two sets of characters as the exact same beings.

1.Rosalind doesn't fucking know how to handle a school full of fucking children (fae or not). She only cares about the results she gets out of them. And she will do anything to get those results. She's also a big hypocrite. SO Glad Bloom took care of it.

2. They didn't just built up Bloom and Sky's relantionship for 2 seasons, and then proceeded to take it apart in like..one minute.

3. WHAT THE HELL DID THEY PUT ON STELLA ???!!!!

4. I don't blame Riven for not having feelings for Dane. U can't control that. However, I do blame him for hurting Dane. He shouldn't have done anything with the boy if he knew he didn't swing that way too. He shouldn't had gotten involved with him. Period.

5. I ship Beatrix and Riven since season 1. I REALLY thought they could have gotten' a little better together. Or not. Evil couples cand still be amazing. And instead they just ruined them and walked over them in a way that..... Well, they implied many times that those two cared for each other. But when Beatrix was kidnapped , or worse, when she died. Riven shows no fucking emotion???! Nah, I don't believe it. Even if he didn't like her like that anymore( especially after she told Rosalind Riven knew smth. But to be honest, I don't think she was doingit just for her. And it was not even the worst thing she had done ) , u can't just erase the time u spend with someone. It will always mean something. He didn't even mourn her death a second. It was just so out of the blue. And don't tell me Beatrix can't love, it was pretty obvious that she loved Andreas, he was like a father to her, she said it herself.

7. And the writers did that just to "give" us Rivusa (Riven and Musa). I like this ship too.Not as much as Riventrix and Stellatrix but still. I was thinking that at least I will get them. I do like a good built up. But Idk, It was too long for me. And they didn't have that many scenes.

8. I liked a lot the friendship between Stella and Bea. A. Lot. And I would have liked the more as couple...But unfortunately, the chances of that were ruined .

10. And then Beatrix was killed..Just when she found out she had 2 sisters. And Stella was the only one who mourned her. And it s just sad how she never found her place and how she was tossed aside by everyone. (But I suppose that s what makes a good villain)

11. Sam relying on Musa's magic was wrong. He was like..addicted. I did hate the fact that he leaved tho. He was there just to be Musa s bf.

12. Terra coming out was very nice. I like how Stella embraced her first. And how the rest of the girls handled it.

13. That ending with Bloom and that woman..(Bloom's mom?) I have to wait another year and a half for that too huh

14. Beatrix will really become evil, I know it. She will be resurrected by that shadow, I know it.

15. The writing was really rushed.

16. Aisha deserved way better

Why don’t we end the Rivusa vs Riventrix battle with just having the three of them together? That’s what Iva did to me with this fic of hers.

It comes as no surprise I am a Rivusa shipper, and this blog is dedicated to this ship, so I thought maybe it would be a good idea to share some of my favorite Rivusa fics with yall- especially since a few people have asked me to in asks, I’m one of those people with very short memory and I may love a fic to death and then forget about it some time later only to come across it again and love it again. So while I was scratching my head trying to come up with a list of fics I’ve read I thought why not post them one by one, where I can fully talk about them in detail without having to scram it all up in one sentence.

Which better to start than the most recent one I read?

I was minding my business at work when I saw my dear friend Iva had posted “About that night” the day before, and reading the description intrigued me. I love Rivusa to death and I’m not a huge fan of Riventrix but the three of them togethere sounded... Interesting. So, being a fan of danger, I decided to open this (very) NSFW fic at work.

And oh boy.

This fic is HOT.

I’ve written with Iva before, when she helped me finish my fic “Thin Walls”, so her writing ability isn’t a surprise to me- she’s an amazing writer!. But in this, altough very unlikely a threesome between them would happen, she sets the scene so well it does seem possible this situation could have happened in canon.

The characters lines are very in character, I could picture them as I read. And the smut scenes- oof! So well described!

So if you’re looking for a wild night ;) go read her fic!

Even if you’re more of a Rivusa fan than a Riventrix fan. Or if you’re more of a Riventrixer than a Rivuser (should we call us/them that?) I think you’re gonna like it.

Riventrix Request?! Riven finds Bea’s diary after the breakup and find all the things she “hates” about him, but really it’s a whole bunch of stuff she loves about him?!

Beatrix knocked on Riven's door and waited. If she was lucky then it would be Sky in there, and she could give him the journal and key to deciphering it for him to pass onto Riven. It would be even better if he didn't out of spite, then her conscience would be clear and Riven would never know.

Riven opened the door and stared at her. She thrust the book and paper into his chest and took a step back. Distance between them would help. She wouldn't feel the pull to kiss him or the yearning to touch him so strongly if she couldn't see the way his cheeks were trying and failing to grow hair in a uniform manner. She was obscenely fond of how the hair there grew in patches if he didn't shave it.

"This is for you. Everything you ever wanted to know is in there. Plus the key to the ciphers. The secondary cipher is that if I've written about feelings...I meant the opposite of what was written. Goodbye Riven." Beatrix turned away feeling sick. There she'd done it. Now he would know.

"Goodbye? Where are you going?" Riven frowned and took a smile step towards her.

"Andreas and I are going to Malacoy. He and Harvey reignited their Fairy-Specialist bond and it's physically painful for dad to be away from Harvey at the moment. Plus Saul thinks it will do us both some good to experience life outside of Alfea and isolation. I'll come back for my last year here, they're going to let me be a graduate from both schools." Beatrix tried to smile. She was going to be the first student to be a dual student of both academies and having her name somewhere in a history book felt good. Better than what she'd have got under Rosalind.

"Are you leaving because Farah's back and she locked you up last time?" Riven asked.

"No, I'm leaving because I want to try and be someone different. I want to try being something other than a dogsbody for a tyranical bitch." Beatrix sniffed a little. She'd dreamed of going to Alfea and making friends and being someone Andreas would be proud of. Thinking of that childish dream she'd concocted in her isolation had been wounds to her heart in her Alfea bed each night.

"You can start again here! If Stella can after what happened with Ricki then you can," Riven begged.

"I'll be back in two years, Riv. By that time maybe I'll be ready to try and make Miss D stick," Beatrix tried to joke. Her eyes watered and a tear slid loose.

"I'll have to start calling Dowling that in your absence then." Riven looked at her with helpless loss on his face.

"Bye Riven."

"See you soon, Bee."

Beatrix turned and walked away without looking back. She didn't dare. If she did she might rip the journal out of his hands before she saw the page marked 'Fuck. I hate Riven.'

Hello :) Could I request some riventrix angst if you still take requests?

Hi, Nonnie! I had to think about how to answer this because I don't typically take requests outside of ask games. Not so much because I don't like requests but because I've usually got a full plate with my own inspiration for fic! But I was recently playing the "Write 3 Sentences" fic game (though I was terrible at it since I am a wordy human), so how about we add this request there (even though this also is nowhere near 3 sentences lmaooo).

Also as a side note, I don't personally ship Riventrix - I'm a Stellatrix/Rivusa fan but I do like them as friends & partners in crime! My apologies if you wanted something super shippy but I am probably not the writer for that! Anyway, here's a potential take on how things might have gone after Bea gave up Riven to Rosalind so Andreas wouldn't be punished, and there IS some angst...

"I didn't have a choice!" Beatrix tries to reason with him, following him into his room despite his efforts to close the door on her.

"Keep telling yourself that, Bea, and maybe one of us will believe it." Riven collapses onto the edge of his mattress, weary from both the conversation and the bone-deep ache in his muscles. The lingering headache he's had since Beatrix left him in Rosalind's office two days ago doesn't help.

"He's my dad, okay? And I knew you were hiding something! What did you expect me to do, side with you instead?" She glares at him like the entire idea of it is preposterous, and the memory of walking down the school hallway with her hand in his suddenly flickers through his mind, thoroughly at odds with the venomous tone she's using with him now.

Riven sighs, runs a hand emblazoned with bloody knuckles across the back of his neck. Yeah, he had known something about Silva's escape, but nothing concrete. It had all happened so fast, and he'd already been second-guessing everything once Silva was involved anyway. So a bare second or two of mysterious fumbling in the back of the vehicle just before Silva got away was more than nothing, but all it pointed to was a fairy being involved. And yeah, maybe he had his suspicions about who would have been brave enough - or really, stupid enough - to pull the whole thing off, but he wasn't about to throw anyone to the wolves that were Rosalind and Andreas without actual solid proof, no matter what most of the school currently seemed to think of him.

That betrayal isn't honestly why he's angry with her though. He gets what she did. Why Beatrix picked Andreas. He could tell her it was much the same for him; that Silva was the closest thing he had to a father figure, and maybe she'd understand why he had hidden what little clue he did have about the escape. But ultimately that's just another thing that they have in common, putting family first. They have too many things in common, probably, and it makes his head throb harder.

Right now he needs to focus on the thing that nags at him most, and he holds up a hand to stop her when it looks like she's going to start talking again. "Just tell me one thing. Did you ever like me, or was it just about what I could do for you, how you could put me to use?"

It's not easy to ask the question, feels almost like he has to wrest it from his throat, but it wasn't easy watching Beatrix walk away without a backwards glance when she left him in Rosalind's clutches either.

Beatrix doesn't even wince. Instead she tilts her head, watches him calmly like he's an insect about to be pinned to a board. Riven has seen the exact same look from Andreas. "Does it really matter?"

Riven gets up from the bed, ignoring his protesting thigh muscles, his sore feet and the dizziness that threatens to overwhelm him. He's had worse. He crosses the floor to the door more sluggishly than he'd like, opens it and gestures with his head in an obvious sign for Beatrix to leave. She passes by him, her eyes locked on his. He waits until she's on the other side before he answers.

"It could've."

He shuts the door behind her, certain she hears the resounding click of the lock before her heels move steadily away.

I got this prompt for both Silrah and Riventrix but given I've never written Riventrix before I thought I'd give it a go!

"Why couldn't you be a fire fairy?" Riven grumbles from beneath the sheets, his face pressed to Beatrix's neck while his toes seek the warmth between her shins to heat his icy digits.

She trails one long nail up his jugular, letting off more sparks than electricity, a warning. "Why couldn't you be a fire fairy, hmm? Then you could get in Sky's pants like you've wanted since freshman year."

"Have not," Riven pouts into her shoulder, rubbing languid circles up her breastbone, and she hisses in moody contempt.

"You're literally wearing his joggers right now, 'S. Eraklyon.'"

"That doesn't count."

POV Riven

I'm sitting in the infirmary waiting for Beatrix to wake up. I've been watching over her since we brought her back, but I know she'll kick me out the second she wakes up. After all, we're nothing, she betrayed me and I broke up with her... We were never friends and we're not lovers anymore. This is where we are. And yet, I can't sleep. Every time I start to doze off, I see her lying still. I thought she was dead when I saw her and the doctors confirmed that we arrived just in time. So I wait, and for the first time since I've known her, I'll be happy if she rejects me because that means she's okay. Well, pretty well considering the circumstances.

It's in the middle of the night that she starts to stir in her bed. I grab her hand and squeeze it, calling out softly: 

"Beatrix, it's time to wake up."

And as always, she goes from one extreme to the other. One second she is lying on her bed, still asleep and the next she is sitting up and wide-eyed as she looks around. I squeeze her hand to show her that she is not alone while trying to verbally reassure her: 

"Hey, you're okay. You're safe now, you're at school."

She looks around one last time before laying her eyes on me: 

"Riven?"

I nod in response and answer her: 

"Yes it's me."

She lies back down with a grimace and I hand her a potion that Terra told me to give her if she ever wakes up. I think I'm supposed to go find someone more competent than me to take care of Beatrix but I don't move from my spot. Our hands are still tied and I wonder if she has realized it. 

After swallowing her drink, she looks at me questioningly: 

"What the hell are you doing here in the middle of the night Riven?"

For once in my life, I'm being honest as I answer her: 

"They said you almost died... We got there just in time. If you had stayed there another hour, they couldn't have saved you."

She looks at me for a few seconds but doesn't say anything, the silence lingers between us as she digests this information. I don't know what to say either. What are you supposed to tell someone who almost died a few hours ago? And yet she didn't reject me like she could have. She must not be in the right frame of mind, she hasn't even realized she doesn't have her powers anymore but I'm not going to ruin this moment by telling her. So I stand still, waiting for something to happen. But I stay focused on her, which allows me to hear her whispered words just before she falls asleep: 

"Stay with me Riven."
