The making of Thierry Mugler: Couturissime. ✨🪡
Prior to the opening of #Couturissime, art handlers, audio-visual designers, carpenters, conservators, curators, electricians, exhibition designers, and more spent weeks creating the continually changing environment for Mugler’s designs.
Titled “Metamorphosis,” this concluding gallery includes pret-a-porter from Mugler’s early collection “Spirale futuriste” (Fall/Winter 1979-80), which was worn by Jerry Hall, to iconic haute couture works from the collections “Les Insectes” (Spring/Summer 1997) and “Chimère” (Fall-Winter 1997-98). The video projections for this gallery were designed by the award-winning Rodeo FX.

Alright so idk if this too obscure but zack galifinakis or whatever used to have this show on FX where he played a rodeo clown and he also played his own twin brother, and then they had a set of younger twin brothers, the whole thing is weird ANYWAY NOT THE POINT the younger twin brothers were DJs who were constantly on tour with the chemical brothers. And that’s my only frame of reference for the chemical brothers lol the band from the weird clown show
LMAOOOODKALSKSL this is so funny…….. are the chemical brothers actually brothers. are they twins too. omg was this like a twin-only tour. or was the twin thing a false flag just for the bit

Dune Artstyle
Dune's universe is a massive contrast to a lot of other Sci-Fi franchises in terms of how it handles the world building and visual clarity of it. The movie is set after a war with Robots that no longer wishing to serve it's human masters, which posed a massive detriment to the humans as they've spent most of their lives relying on them. This lead to a regression of technology to prevent another war and limiting the weaponry used in combat to prevent soldiers from creating a nuclear explosion when an energy weapon comes into contact with a particle shield, and since firearms are useless against them due to the shield only reacting to high velocity physical collision, they've gone back to martial weaponry, mostly blades and swords.
Despite the medieval influences, it's all well made and carefully explained to make it all believable, and I'd imagine that took a lot of time and effort to make.

Visual Effects (VFX) Market Detailed Strategies, Competitive Landscaping and Developments for next 5 years
The technique of creating or manipulating graphics outside of the framework of a live action shot in filmmaking is known as visual effects (abbreviated VFX). Visual effects are the combination of live action footage (special effects) and computer-generated imagery (digital or optical effects) to create environments, inanimate objects, animals, or creatures that appear realistic but are dangerous, expensive, impractical, time-consuming, or impossible to capture on film. With the emergence of economical and generally simple-to-use animation and compositing tools, visual effects using computer-generated imagery (CGI) have lately become available to independent filmmakers.

The sequence sees Leta swap her half-brother with another baby – who turns out to be Credence – on a stormy sea voyage, only for her real brother Corvus to drown.
We also get a glimpse at Leta's older half-brother Yusuf Kama who has sworn an Unbreakable Vow with his father to murder the person that the elder Corvus Lestrange loved the most.
"It took a while for the whole team to get to understand the whole plot of that scheme. It was really complicated in a way, it was even broader before. We were supposed to see Kama adding the Unbreakable Vow with his father, there was much more backstory to it," Rodeo FX's Arnaud Brisebois told Digital Spy.
"In a way, you’re not so much story-dependent, you just need to do your effects properly [so] it took a while for us to even understand the connections of all these characters together. I don’t think anybody would have been able to really describe what was going to happen."
Brisebois continued: "At a certain point, I got an updated cut with the sound and I took some time to digest the whole thing and then I’m like, ‘Oh I got it!’
"Everybody was thinking that Credence was the drowning baby, everyone was sure and he would be saved or captured by an Obscurus underwater or something, but his backstory was not the case at all. So it was a funny turn of situation."
