If I were to figure out a way to fix One's abrupt character development, I would have her realise next season that actually she isn't over East's betrayal, and that she still has feelings along the lines of East only getting on their team because of her "powers", then have that conflict create issues on their team

I hate the trope of women on the same team hating each other as much as anyone else, but I think this would be the best way to address things and give One the character arc she deserves

As for the other characters I dont really know, West could be incorporated into Danyell/One conflict, and I guess Axel could too? You could maybe have the team entirely split in half with Raymond stuck in the middle because he doesnt have a direct relation to either phase or one, in fact I think it would be interesting if there's actually something Really Important happening with Raymond but the others all miss it because they're caught up in their own fight
