I thought deeply about my old boyfriend. Tears of realization flew as I noticed its been since November 2013 we stopped our relationship. But in Nov 2016 a turning point in life came where he crashed his car. I didn’t talk with him much back then, but in my heart I always wanted to rekindle our bond. Sometimes you never meet that special person again. Some times people are put on this earth to teach us something and help us discover ourselves.Jay is all of the above. It took a long time to realize, but his messages of life are something to have and to hold. It weighs on my heart in an impenetrable measure to realize that we gave up a life together.We both cared yet couldn’t express it properly. Jay, you passed away the day we walked away from each other, It was the weight of thousands of pounds on my heart & soul.. But when I was one of the first to find out you passed(police found him & called my brother. he had an old business card of his.an honorable gesture.he respected my little brother. I am beyond honored my family were, by chance, the ones to inform others about his passing and help authorities contact his family, although they weren’t in his life much) Jay was beyond family. In foster care, birth family abused him so he was constantly on the journey to find a true family. He found a few, but the years he spent with mine are something to cherish. I will be making a special tribute to him in a few days. I am collecting hundreds of pictures where I documented his life the time we spent. My mom & I brought him up at the reggae show. In helpless tears we brought him up and I dont even know how it came up. A natural occurrence that woke me up to realize how truly lucky and blessed I was to have him in my human experience. An experience that brought me hope for life but also brought him to his eternal Home. It is with humble regards that I share that His first words to me ever spoken when he first saw me was in fact, “Hey Beautiful” and his last words in person we ever shared was “Maybe we will be together again one day” & if destiny sees it fit, I desire to live many future lifetimes together with Jay to discover what our love really meant to us. #sandiegoconnection #sdlocals #encinitaslocals – posted by Bridgi Linda YaaYaa McElhaney www.instagram.com….
