bonus: el bar que me queda cerca de casa, la dueña es una señora dominicana que adoro con toda mi alma, voy ahí con dos amigos que viven cerca cada viernes a tomarnos una copa; llevé al resto de los amigos que vinieron por mi cumpleaños y la señora me puso la canción de cumpleaños de venezuela 🥹 si vienes a madrid algún día de estos te digo el nombre pero me queda súper cerca así que a lo mejor no en ask shdkdhdl

Y no tengo una tienda de ropa favorita creo... Soy fan de los chinos como Luna, porque siempre encuentras cositas (justo me compré una falda ahí hace un par de días que viene con shorts y la amo) y tiendas como el Already o el Crazydays (outlets de tiendas varias). Mis ultimas botas han sido del moda re (Inditex pero para caritas) y han salido bastante bien... A parte de eso, le tengo un amor infinito a la compañía fantástica y a lolina

FIRST BINGO!!! Also love these two so much they also take up space in my brain rent free…. Arguably both have been done dirty by fans but I feel like queen would see the things people have done to her and be like wow I’m hot you get a pass. Sjdjsjjsms and Susie is just a great character and love how much she’s opened up- I was hesitant at first since I really liked how guarded she was in chapter 1 but I’m excited to see her be more sensitive and open with other characters, especially how her and Catti’s rivalry(?) will play out in future chapters…. And I hope we see more of queen she was an interesting and stupid antagonist snvnsncndn so silly luv her….

Just popping in here to say I have a degree in Translation and interpreting and I applaud that you not only translate stuff but also take the time to give us tons of context, documentation, and analysis. Translation is so much more than just putting words in a different language and sadly not many people seem to realise it. It makes me so happy to see more people who understand translating on such a deep level. Anyways keep it up you're doing great sweetie!!

Aaaa, thank you, that means a lot! I have no formal training in translation and don’t feel like I’m super-good at it, but I’ve always been pretty fascinated by the nuances and subtleties of different languages and how difficult it is to truly capture everything being conveyed in one language when translating into another, so I have a hell of a lot of respect and appreciation for anyone doing this professionally. Honestly I’d love it if every translated book had, like, translation footnotes.
