i did these based on what reminds me of specific moon, mars + venus placements

these reminded me of capricorn venus (she also has a capricorn mercury):

so this one is a little different, but i figured i can’t do a post about breakup songs and not cover

Ex-Factor by Lauryn Hill

Lauryn has a sagittarius moon and while they can be emotionally immature, I found the lyrics a bit confusing given that I’m reading considering her placements.

Then I saw that she has lilith in pisces in retrograde, house 8, her venus is in cancer and that her moon is in house 4. Her moon in house 4 might cause her to long for stability/ security in her emotional connections. Cancer venus may also explain a belief that love must come with suffering.

This is where the lyrics began to make more sense to me.

“I keep letting you back in, How can I explain myself?”

“Tell me who I have to be, to gain some reciprocity”

“No matter how I think we grow, you always seem to let me know, it ain’t working”

lilith in pisces and cancer venus remind me of these specifically:

“As painful as this thing has been, I just can’t be with no one else”

“And when I try to walk away, you’d hurt yourself to make me to stay”

the signs in their feelings pt. 1 (songs for the signs vol. 2)

this one is a little all over the place 😅 i apologize in advance. i organized it well so it should at least be an easy read :)

TW/ drug abuse

hi! so originally this post was going to go over every sign but I got caught up in analyzing these couple songs and didn’t want a long, drawn out post. so pls stay tuned for pt.2 where i cover more signs. - sativa 🍃

💦 Capricorn Moon (with a minor in libra mars/ moon?): Novacane and Thinkin Bout You by Frank Ocean (who has a libra mars and capricorn moon in 3rd house, which i found particularly interesting bc these songs seem to be conveying emotions to someone without telling them directly)

so in Thinkin Bout You he starts with deflecting (mars in detriment):

“A tornado flew around my room before you came/ Excuse the mess it made, it usually doesn’t rain in”

then he goes on to address his true feelings (3rd house moon):

“My eyes don’t shed tears, but boy they pour when…/ I’m thinkin’ bout you”

then he draws it back with (moon in detriment):

“No, I don’t like you, I just thought you were cool enough to kick it”

finally he opens up (3rd house again):

“Yes of course I remember, how could I forget how you feel?”

!big disclaimer!: pls keep in mind that this song is written about an individual’s experiences and that these experiences are clouded by TW/ drug use. so these may not resonate if you have not shared these experiences.

now in Novacane, he starts off again with subdued emotions (moon + mars in detriment):

“Zero emotion, muted emotion/ Pitch corrected, computed emotion”

“Sink full of dishes, pacing in the kitchen/ Cocaine for breakfast”

He’s trying to be present in his pleasure but struggles to while everything is suppressed (cap moon, but! this experience is largely due to drug use):

“Been tryna film pleasure with my eyes wide shut”

He reveals a little of what he’s truly feeling (3rd house moon):

“But there’s no drug around/ Quite like what I found in you, you”

“You put me on a feeling that I never had, never had/ And ever since I’ve been tryna get it back/ And pick it up and put it back”

Then returns to covering up (libra mars):

“I still can’t feel my face/ What am I smoking anyway?”
