6. Episode of tv or webisode that defined the year for you?

That's actually a tough question when I think about it too hard. I’m going to base my choices on the moments in those episodes that had the biggest meaning to me.

So of course Titans 4x10 “Game Over” has to end up here for the “Your weapon is your love for this child” line alone. I am *still* scrubbing pieces of myself off the floor, that's what this moment did to me. The closest thing to a love confession.

And speaking of those — Agents of SHIELD season 5 finale which actually gave me a father-daughter love confession and to this day I can't actually believe this moment exists??? @skoulsons will confirm, I was losing my goddamn mind live in her DMs, like IS THIS FOR REAL?!?!?! DID HE--??? AND SHE--??? DID THEY REALLY JUST SAY THAT????? Oh I was unwell

And of course, The Last of Us, episode 8. I’ve had no idea about the plot of the game and I was trying to avoid game spoilers but I did know something heavy happens in this episode, I just didn't know the full context. Everyone was so excited about this hug that was supposed to happen in this part of the story because it's in the game and it's like the most important moment. And boy, what an experience this was. I wasn't breathing. When that hug happened, tears rolled down my face and I was ugly sobbing. I will never forget the absolute chills I’ve had watching this moment.

7. Favorite actor of the year?

You can't force me to pick between Brenton Thwaites and Pedro Pascal. That's impossible. I can't and won't tear my heart in two.

11. Something you want to do again next year?

Go stay with my sister, who lives in Germany. I’ve spent three weeks with her, end of October - beginning of November and it was the most calming, healing, relaxing experience. A retreat for my mental and physical state that was really needed and I definitely want to do it again. Also, experience another concert, which will happen — Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour, Warsaw August 2nd. Another bucket list moment.

And awww thank you, I am actually obsessed with this Christmas theme 🖤💙💜💚 I've had this planned ever since I noticed my birds are the first ones to clink their mugs together and when I giffed it, I knew I had to make it a header

That and - my girl looks the absolute cutest in that Santa hat.

anyway for sarah I’d have to go with her outfit in 3x04, the cute brown cord jacket from 1x18 and 4x01, and her barista outfit in 2x01. she is THEE cutest and I love her so much

for ava, it’s her outfit at the end of 2x23, The Dress from the hybrid OR gala (4x10), and of course the cute pirate costume from Nat and Will’s bachelor/ette party in 4x06

also I know u didn’t include crockett but he’s the loml so for him it’s just. any outfit that includes the sexy blue coat, the brown bomber jacket + curly hair combo, and of course shirtless crockett. that’s probably my favourite tbh

4x10: Heaven and Hell

Then:

TFW needed a little work before they got it right

Now:

We start off right where we left off in the last episode. The angels are here for Anna. She has to die.

Uriel attacks Ruby and Dean tries to stop it. Cas starts walking towards Sam, and despite Sam’s pleas, he boops him into unconsciousness. Suddenly there’s lights and Uriel and Cas are zapped to places unknown. (Cas’s wings in the flash...emotion hearts). They find Anna with a ridiculously severe wrist wound and a mysterious sigil on the mirror written in her blood. She sent them away.

They hide Anna away at Bobby’s. Dean and Ruby bond over hex bags. It’s almost cute.

Um, Bobby’s not home because he’s in the Dominican (and I just Googled “Hedonism and Dominican” ... probably shouldn’t have). Anyway, Sam’s got exposition on Anna. This bought of psychosis isn’t her first. When she was a toddler, she was convinced her real father was “very mad -- like wanted-to-kill-her mad.” Anna interrupts their little chat.

Sam asks her why the angels want her. She has no clue. She’s upset that her parents are dead and her life has been turned upside-down. They need to find out what her deal is.

Enter PAM!

(I know I’m technically not supposed to like that bit of sexual harassment but her exchange with Sam is SO funny and cute. He’s so earnest and they play the victim card with her, but she ain’t having it and she’s going to have some fun at Sam’s expense. And Dean’s smile at the end, JOY.)

Pam introduces herself to Anna and sets to hypnotizing her. She asks about Anna’s father and Anna freaks out. Dean tries intervening and gets knocked out. Pam wakes her and Anna remembers who she is. “I’m an angel.”

Pam and Ruby are side-eyeing this “friendly” angel. Turns out Anna was Cas and Uriel’s boss in angel-land. She disobeyed, which is the worst thing an angel can do (WEEPS for future Cas.) She ripped out her grace and fell to Earth. Now Heaven and Hell want her. She’s determined to get her grace back.

“So you’e just going to take some devine bong hit, and shazam, you’re Roma Downey?” Ah, Dean, you do have a way with words (Also, dude loves pop culture SO much that Touched By an Angel is on his radar. BLESS THIS BOY.)

Sam remembers reading about a meteor about 9 months before Anna was born and Ruby responds, “You’re pretty buff for a nerd.” Get a room, you two.)

For Real Life Jesus They’re Cute Science:

Ruby apologizes for getting Sam involved with this war. She’s afraid of Alistair too. He’s no joke in Hell. She tells Sam he should send Alistair back to Hell, but he’s got to practice to do it. Sam refuses.

Anna’s star gazing when Dean returns from taking Pamela home. Dean asks Anna why the angels saved him. Dean then asks why she would want to be human. He lists all the bad things about the human condition, and she lists all the good.

Ultimately, it’s the emotions of being human that matter so much to her. Obedience and emotionless faith is overrated. Only 4 angels have ever laid eyes on God (Well...five now!) Anna complains about watching over Earth, waiting for order from a father who might never return, and Dean laughs and laughs. I really love how Anna’s story shifted to Cas. Dean and Anna give each other looks, but Sam, in all his glory, interrupts. He’s found something!

They head off for a tree in Kentucky that is probably the place where Anna’s grace fell.

They get to the tree and Anna can sense that it’s not there anymore. Someone took it.

Later, Anna’s listening to Angel Radio and hears the angels say that if the Winchesters don’t turn over Anna, they’ll throw Dean back in Hell. Dean is speechless, but Sam wants to know what kind of weapon works on an angel. Dean’s in freak out mode --they need to find an answer.

Later, Dean’s reading a book by flashlight and Anna approaches him to thank him for all that they’ve done. He brushes her sentiment aside. She ponders the thought that she doesn’t deserve to be saved (AND I need to stop and talk about how this parallels Cas in Purgatory...he thanks Dean for everything, he believed he didn’t deserve to be saved. BLAF. And Dean and Anna are more canon than Dean and Cas? I think not.)

Dean lets slip that there’s something he deeply regrets as well, and Anna takes the opportunity to reveal that she knows what he did last summer - er, in Hell. He crumbles when she tells him to forgive himself. (Narrator voice: and then he spent ten more years failing to do exactly that.)

“You are not alone,” she tells him and I remember why I like her (before a later plot twist scrubs her away). Anna MAKES A MOVE and kisses him. It IS their last night on Earth, after all. (I quietly eat the script pages for “Free to be you and me” while simultaneously high-fiving Anna for her excellent taste.)

Cut to a montage of Impala sex which cuts out all the bits of sex in a car where you’re crammed in a corner awkwardly trying to get off your clothes without kicking the other person. Anna touches Castiel’s handprint, laying her own over the lines of his fingerprints. And I know that it was likely just a way to set up the Dean-is-connected-to-Heaven parallels in this brief shining moment when both boys actually had non-dead love interests at the same time. But MAN it sure cuts me open now.

Ruby watches Sam sleep, then heads out to a crossroads. She burns her protective hex bag and Alistair appears.

Ruby offers to give up Anna in return for her and the Winchesters’ safety. Alistair has another proposal…

Uriel greets Dean back in the barn. Dean looks confused for a moment before he realizes that Uriel has invaded his dream so they can have a little chat. Commander Cas isn’t around - “You see, he has this weakness. He likes you.” Uriel reveals that he has Anna’s grace. But nya nya nya he won’t give it back.

We cut to Ruby, naked and strapped down as this show is wont to do with its demon women. Alistair tortures her with the demon knife. She refuses to tell him where Anna is...but she will show him.

Back in the barn during waking hours, Dean drinks his feelings until the doors burst open and Uriel and Castiel arrive.

Sam demands to know how the angels found them, and Castiel glances meaningfully at Dean.

Anna realizes the deal that must have been brokered: herself in exchange for Sam’s safety. We experience many sad close-ups of Dean’s self-hatred and it HURTSSSS. Anna kisses Dean and assures him that he’s forgiven.

Anna’s ready to face the angels at last. Cas apologizes, but she brushes it aside. “You don’t know the feeling.” First of all, Anna, rude.

For This Town Ain’t Big Enough for the Both of Us Science:

Alistair shows up in the barn with his demon goons. The Winchesters, Anna, and Ruby skedaddle to the fringes of the barn, leaving the angels and demons to posture toxically at each other.

Fisticuffs ensue! Alistair pins Cas, growling Latin at him until Dean whacks him in the head. Anna takes advantage of the fight to have her Ariel moment.

She orders everyone to close their eyes as her own fire consumes her. It blasts Alistair away, and Castiel gently pulls Uriel away as well. Everyone congratulates themselves for their excellent plan to pit the demons and angels against each other.

Later, Sam and Dean recap their feelings at the Impala.

For Rural Roads Science:

Dean brings up something Alistair said during the fight - that he “had promise.” I finally remember during this rewatch that Dean’s been denying what happened in Hell all along. Dean starts to talk. “It wasn’t four months,” he begins. “It was more like forty years. They sliced and carved and tore at me in ways that you-- Until there was nothing left. And then suddenly I would be whole again. Like magic. Alistair at the end of every day - every one - he would come over . He would make me an offer to take me off the rack if I put souls on. If I started to torture. And every day I told him to stick it where the sun shines. For thirty years, I told him. But then I couldn’t do it anymore, Sammy.”

“I got off that rack - god help me I got right off it - and I started ripping ‘em apart.” The weight of the torture he inflicted presses down on him. Sam tries to reassure him, but Dean continues to rip out our hearts and leave them cold and gathering refuse in the gutter. “How I feel? This inside me. I wish I couldn’t feel anything, Sammy. I wish I couldn’t feel a damn thing.”

Dean Quotechester Deserved Better:

Any chance I can dick over an angel, I'm taking it

What do they want me for? Why did they save me?

Feelings are overrated, if you ask me

When you got Godzilla and Mothra on your ass, best to get out of their way and let them fight

A/N: Continuation of ‘love and some verses’: chapter 54

“Insert for Cuffed: Castle and Beckett were put in separate rooms and Beckett banged through the wall that released the tiger and Castle has to listen to her screams as she’s being eaten.”

(Or for those who haven’t read it: an AU for 4x10, ‘Cuffed’, in which Beckett is brutally attacked by a tiger.)

For Alex and Evan.

Moisture seeps through his shirt, wets his skin with heat, but the tears leaking onto his chest are far better than the spill of her blood.

“Kate,” he whispers, combing his fingers through her hair. She should be lying flat, the front of her body to the hospital bed with her back horizontal and exposed. But she just kept staring at him with her cheek pressed to the starched sheet, her eyelids heavy but unable to fall closed.

“Crawl in with me,” she said, her voice no more than a rasp but still leaving little room for argument.

He rose from the chair and slid into her hospital bed without having to move her except to ease beneath her, mimicking their position in the freezer only forty-eight hours ago. She hissed and pierced her bottom lip with her teeth, but continued to shift until they were chest to chest and he could feel the ragged throb of her heart working against his sternum.

Her hospital gown slipped and fell apart, the ties in the back already done up loosely to avoid risking aggravation to her wounds - open wounds with a polymicrobial infection transferred from the rip of a tiger’s claws through her flesh. Her doctor was treating the infection first before they sewed up the five deep lacerations decorating Kate’s back, but leaving the wounds open, exposed, was agony.

“I’m okay,” she murmurs, drawing one of her arms a little tighter against her chest and easing one of her thighs between his.

He swallows hard.

She’s practically draped atop of him and he should be used to it by now, especially after spending hours with her lying over him in the freezer while they waited for rescue. But it’s different now. They survived, are no longer facing the prospect of imminent death - he expected them to revert to their usual post-survival method of not talking about things.

I’m glad it ends with you.

Not that much talking has necessarily been going on. Kate has been in nonstop pain. For all he knows, maybe she’s just delirious from it all and the heating pad of his body beneath her helps, provides her at least a hint of comfort.

He brushes his lips to the top of her head, savors the delusion while he can.

“Is the medication helping at all?”

“Helps. Just feel bad,” she sighs against his throat. Her fingers curl in the hoodie from the NYPD that Esposito brought over for him. He shoved the shirt he was wearing into the trashcan of a hospital bathroom, the fabric stiff and unsalvageable from the seep of her blood. It took him at least five minutes to scrub it from his skin with paper towels and hot water from the bathroom sink. “Can’t sleep without thinking of it.”

“I know.” He can’t either, can’t close his eyes without seeing her cornered by a wild animal, the vibrant drench of her own blood across her clothes. Can’t stop feeling the gut wrenching fear of losing her. “But it’ll get better, especially once they stitch you up in the morning.”

Kate hums against his chest, her cheek sealed over his heart and her tears at his collarbone. “You okay?”

“Me?” he huffs, massaging the tips of his fingers along her scalp. “You’re the one who nearly got ripped apart by a tiger.”

Her fingers tighten in the fabric of his jacket. “Castle.”

“As long as you’re okay, I’m okay,” he answers, scaling his thumb along her ear.

“I’m okay,” she whispers, tilting her head, just enough to graze her lips along the exposed skin of his throat. His eyes flutter closed. “We’re both okay.”

“Kate, I-”

“Should’ve told you sooner,” she mumbles, mouth still brushing maddeningly over the cords of his neck. “Not waited for a tiger to force it out.”

Castle’s brow furrows and his thumb strokes along her temple in question.

“Forced what out of you?”

She sighs and lifts her head, whimpering at the ripple of movement it sends spiraling down her spine.

“Kate, hey, don’t-”

“Need to see you for this,” she insists, the lines of her face pinched tight with pain, but her eyes burning gold. He doesn’t fight her on it, but he does lower his hand to curve at her nape, helping support the weight of her skull. “Need to tell you-”

“Tell me,” he prompts. “Before the pain in your back makes you pass out on me.”

She huffs, the corners of her mouth twitching with wry amusement. He lifts his other hand from the safe spot of her hip, raising it to dust his thumb to the hint of a smile.

“Can’t handle the dead weight?”

He scoffs, but then she turns her head, catches the pad of his thumb with a press of her lips, a quick scrape of her teeth. He’s almost positive she can feel his heart stop beneath hers.

“Sorry,” she whispers, her grin turning rueful, but Castle shakes his head.

“No, don’t be sorry, just - I just don’t know what this means. What we’re doing.”

“I know,” she murmurs, her voice so soft. He doesn’t think he ever associated Kate with that word, soft, but since her shooting, she’s allowed him to see the gentler side to her, the vulnerable pieces. God knows she couldn’t hide it from him in these last few hours. He hasn’t left her bedside and she hasn’t asked him to go. “And it’s probably bad timing, always bad timing. I’m always dying-”

“Kate,” he chokes, his hand clutching at the back of her neck.

“I’ve got a bullet hole in my chest, back ripped open from a tiger - I don’t want to know what comes next, all I do know is that I need to tell you before it does-”

“Nothing comes next,” he argues vehemently. “Nothing is going to-”

“Castle, hush,” she growls, her nails piercing through the material of his hoodie. “All I’m saying is that we don’t know what’s going to happen, how much time we have, but I do know what I want.” She unfurls her fingers at his chest, flattens her palm over the bones of his sternum. “And I’m tired of finding reasons to back off because I’m afraid or not ready or both. I don’t want to wait anymore.”

He’s having a hard time breathing.

“I’m so sick of waiting,” she sighs, her lips curving into a frown that could be considered a pout, voice edging closer to a whine than he’s ever heard. And oh, if he thought soft Kate Beckett was adorable, whiny Kate Beckett is absolutely precious. “I just want - I want to be with you. To love you back.”

“You - you do?” he gets out, just barely. But Kate is looking at him with hope and apology in her eyes.

Should’ve told you sooner.

Ah. And to love him back.

So she did hear him. She heard him and she… she feels the same way?

“You love me?” he murmurs, still breathless, but a little less pathetic.

Some of the apprehension slips from her gaze and she offers a tentative nod of her head, still wincing with it.

“Yeah, I do,” she whispers, shy. He’s never seen her shy either, not like this - bottom lip between her teeth, lashes hiding her eyes, cheeks gaining a touch of color. “I’m sorry I didn’t-”

“No.” He slides his fingers from her neck to return to her hair, submerging in the locks and scratching lightly at her scalp. Her back must be on fire. “I told you I loved you while you were bleeding out at Montgomery’s funeral,” he says grimly. “It was… a lot. But I meant it, Kate. I should’ve said it sooner, I-”

“Kiss me,” she murmurs, impatience brimming in her eyes as they flicker down to his lips and kickstarting his heart. “If I could do it myself, I’d shut you up with my mouth, so-”

He cranes his neck to catch her lips, the chuckle in his throat dying beneath the press of her mouth, the familiar caress of a kiss he’s been dreaming about for nearly a year now.

She sighs into his mouth, paints her tongue to the seam of his lips, and almost makes him forget about the gaping wounds down her back. But then her spine shudders and her body tenses over his and he knows they have to stop.

“I can’t wait to do this right,” she grumbles, burying her nose against his cheek. “Without the tiger.”

A laugh puffs from his lips and he adjusts beneath her, returning his other hand to her hip, until he feels her slowly sinking back into the cove of him.

“How bad?” he murmurs, dusting his lips at her forehead. His fingers have automatically resumed their comb through her hair and he can feel her listing heavier against him, threatening to drift.

“I don’t want any more drugs.” Which means she probably needs more drugs. “I’m okay for now. Good with you.”

Soft, whiny, and shy - all little glimpses of her he’s never had the privilege of seeing before, but this one is his favorite. Because she’s in love with him too, and she’s even more beautiful when she lets him see it.

Kate touches her lips to his throat once more before lowering her cheek back to the resting place of his chest. His heart stumbles beneath the lasting impression of her kiss, caught in his throat, exalting with joy and relief, exhilaration.

“I love you,” he whispers, even though it’s no longer a secret, and swears he feels her lips curl against his chest.

Clock Analysis Part 3 - What Episode We’ll See Beth in and Why

Okay gang! New episode tomorrow and I’m super excited. So my guess for when we’ll see Beth is 8x10. It’s based on a lot of evidence I and my fellow theorists have found.

The first is simply the sequence of events I’ve mentioned before in THIS POST and THIS POST. In 5x03, Bob dies from a walker bite. The clock in the room when he dies points to 8x08, which is when we found out Carl was dying from the same cause, so we can parallel the two. The VERY NEXT episode, Slabtown 5x04, is where Beth wakes up. So if Carl dies in 8x09, it would make sense for Beth to show up in the next episode, 8x10.

Not to mention, we always saw the music box as a symbol of Beth’s awakening (see my account name ;D). And then there’s the rule of threes. 8x10 is exactly three seasons after 5x10. Now, we did say this about 8x08. The MSF made sense to us as a time for her to show up because it would have been three seasons after Coda. But I read something the other day—a random article about 8x09) that talked about how death is especially common in TWD’s MSFs. I think that’s applicable here. The MSFs are about death, so perhaps we were always wrong about that. They wouldn’t bring her back in a MSF because those are reserved for major deaths, and this will be the opposite of that.

Historically (in the show) episodes 10 are often about life. 4x10, Inmates, Glenn survived at the prison. He had a mini death fake out on the bus, and in 4x10, they revealed him as being alive. (X, X, X).

5x10 was the music box, and all about the survivors coping. 6x10 is where Rick and Daryl meet Jesus. Aside from the obvious JESUS symbolism, this is them finding a new community, new allies, and more survivors. Life! 7x10 is New Best Friends. There’s not one big example in this episode, but rather lots of little ones you could find. And it’s kinda built into the title, right?

So all of the above just shows that it makes sense for her to appear in 8x10. But it’s not all super-concrete evidence. So now, let’s look at—you guessed it—the clocks.

Let’s start with Slabtown, because that can be a discussion all by itself. Remember that as Beth wakes up, we see the second hand of Beth’s clock tick from 4 to 5, from 7 to 8, and then to 10.

The prevalent theory was always that these numbers represented the episodes relevant to her story line in S5. (Which was yet more evidence that 5x10 was important and about her in some way: music box.) And I still think to some extent that’s true. It’s too much of a coincidence that she was in episodes 5x04, 5x07, 5x08, and then the music box woke up in 5x10 to simply dismiss it.

But now I also think it’s more than that. M-Nonny and others have argued that perhaps the 8 and 10 on Beth’s clock point to her awakening in 8x10. That actually makes a lot of sense. Why? Because the time the clock reads is 5:20, which points to 5x04, and this IS episode 5x04. That creates a tie between 5x04 and 8x10. So in 5x04, Beth awakens directly after Bob died from a walker bite. It would, again, just make a perfect parallel if she shows up in the episode right after Carl dies from a walker bite.

In terms of the numbers being tied to episodes, I’m going to take it a step further. I don’t have detailed evidence on this, but I honestly thing the numbers could also stand for seasons. She was in season 5, obviously. The second hand ticking from 7 to 8 is interesting because, even though Beth wasn’t in them, season 7 is when Negan arrived and 8 is a continuation of Negan. We believe Beth will be tied to the Negan story line, so it’s super-suspicious that these numbers specifically, rather than season 6, are what we see on her clock. If that’s the case, the 10 may also point to season 10, but we won’t know if or how that’s the case until S10 rolls around.

Other Clocks: Edwards’. I talked about this in Part 1 of my Clock Analysis. Remember the clock in Edwards’ office changes from 8:40 (resurrection) to 8:50 (8x10) and may show the episode in which the resurrection will happen.

Clock in 5x09: @wdway found this and I’ve honestly never heard any other TDer talk about it. True, I could have just missed it, but none of the theorists in my group had heard of it either, and generally at least one of us has.

So remember this scene where Rick, Michonne and Glenn talk in Wiltshire? This scene has always been suspicious to us because Glenn holds a bat (Negan foreshadow) and talks about Beth being alive in the present tense.

This is one of the bats we saw associated with Beth (the other big one is in Inmates, which is an episode 10, btw) and felt like it was a clue.

So in the open garage behind Rick and Michonne, there’s a wall clock. Guess what time it reads? 8x10.

So perhaps, just like the clock in Edwards’ office, it shows the episode where these clues will be fulfilled? Here’s hoping!

Other random 8x10 evidence:

In 4x16, we have the scene where the Claimers find Rick, Michonne and Carl. This is yet another scene that has way deeper significance now that we know Carl is dying. I’ve thought for a long time that this scene was a foreshadow of Beth at Grady. (See the post I did about it two years ago HERE. Also HERE.)

It’s mostly about subtle parallels. Carl wakes up in a blue suburban (Beth wore blue scrubs and the color is associated with imprisonment; there’s also the blue suburban they drove in 5x09). He wakes up to find danger around him. There’s also broken glass shown. He’s sexually threatened, but not actually assaulted. All parallels to what happens with Beth at Grady. And since it’s Carl who wakes up, in this analogy, Carl = Beth. So you can see that the entanglement is functioning on many levels. So why am I going over this? Because of something Joe says.

Remember he starts counting backwards from 10, planning to shoot Rick when he gets to 1, but Daryl shows up and says stop. And what does Joe reply? “You’re stopping me on 8, Daryl.” I picked up on this during my rewatch before S8 began, and saw it as yet another emphasis on the number 8 and season 8 being important. But they specifically emphasize the numbers 8 and 10. Obviously it wouldn’t make any sense to count up from 8 to 10 in this case. They kinda had to start at 10. So it’s either pointing to 10x08 or 8x10. Just saying.

I also think it’s important to note that in the next scene, where Rick and Daryl become brothers, Rick talks about keeping Carl safe, and how he’d do anything, even rip out Joe’s throat to make sure Carl stays alive. Major foreshadowing, y’all.

Finally—and this is one of my favorite evidences, again found by M-Nonny—in Coda, FG’s decides to be random and sneaks out of the church to go to the school, where he ends up being chased back by a horde of walkers, and the church is ultimately lost. I remember thinking this scene was so random when watching Coda for the first time. Since then, we’ve found lots of Beth symbolism in it, so it’s made more sense.

But check this out. One of the things we’ve analyzed to death is the bible FG opens and looks out. We’ve looked at numbers and stories and passages. All kinds of things. And here it is: *drumroll please* The passage he opens to is Chronicles 8:10.

And whose name just so happens to appear on the page? Beth’s:

And this happens in Coda, people. CODA!

It also occurred to me that it’s interesting that FG’s church is lost here. Here’s the minor spoiler: Carl will die in Alexandria’s church (which we’ve always felt had Beth vibes) and it will burn down around him. So in both cases, a church is destroyed. Just kind of interesting.

So this is most of my 8x10 evidence. I’m sure there is probably more we would find if we did re-watches looking specifically for this, but this what I’ve got.

Disclaimer: Despite all this, could I be wrong? Sure. I know I’ll have at least some haters hate on me if she doesn’t show in 8x10. All of this evidence points to SOMETHING big in 8x10. I think and hope it’s Beth. There’s a very good chance of that. But it might be something else too.

M-Nonny did remind me of one really compelling piece of evidence that may run contrary to this 8x10 theory. I’ll post in more detail about this next week, but it’s about the “how the harvest gets home” truck sin 5x16. When Aaron and Daryl find the wolf trap, the truck shave that logo on the side, and we’ve long thought “the harvest” is Beth. The license plate Aaron removes from the truck has an 816 on it, which may mean that Beth won’t show until the finale.

And if she doesn’t show by 8x10, I honestly won’t expect to see her until then. But Alexandria is Aaron and Daryl’s home. The wolves go to Alexandria in 6x02 and even drive a “harvest” truck into the wall. So I’m hoping Beth will show up earlier (like in 8x10) and 8x16 will be when she finally arrives at Alexandria. *fingers crossed*

So, all THAT said, I’m totally going to get your hopes up about something else. Thanks to a Nonny for sending this to my inbox. (I’ll officially answer your Ask tomorrow, but I read it a few days ago and totally freaked out about it. ;D)

So my group totally went to town on this, did tons of research and discussed with hundreds of comments. See, in the comments of this blog post, someone asked if the last scenes that caused tears of joy might be something with Negan or a Richonne baby. The blogger answered yes, but she wouldn’t say which one.

So my group morphed into super-hero researchers. ;D Here’s what we discussed:

My issue with this being a Richonne baby is saying that half the fandom will hate it. I guess those really angry about Carl might see it as switching one child for another, but I think those people would be in the minority. Saying half the fandom might want to punch Gimple seems really over the top if this is just about a Richonne baby.

This blogger isn’t a huge Richonne fan. She doesn’t hate them at all, but she doesn’t ship them in particular, and mostly just doesn’t really care, so she isn’t someone who’d have such a strong reaction to a Richonne baby.

The same is true of Carzekiel. We talked about it being a Carzekiel thing, but while she kinda likes the idea of Carzekiel, she doesn’t especially love or ship them, so again, it probably wouldn’t give her this extreme a reaction.

This blogger really loved both Still and Alone, and enjoyed the romantic moment between Beth and Daryl in Alone. Just saying.

If it’s not Richonne, then it must have something to do with Negan. Since we do think Beth is tied to Negan, we’re okay with that. Kind of hoping we’ll see who the prisoner was from the handcuffs Daryl saw in 8x02 (because we think it was Beth). Let’s just say lots of conjecture and head canons about these mystery scenes have been floating around my group the past week.

So we don’t know what these scenes are, and they might not be Beth, but we have high hopes. If they have to do with her, then this theory is wrong anyway because she’ll have shown up in 8x09, rather than 8x10. I’d be happy to be wrong in that way. ;D

And hey, even if it’s not anything obviously to do with Beth, I think these final, shocking scenes will be very important and tell us a lot. But here’s hoping they’re about our girl.

If you read the entire article, the blogger also says there are several unforeseen twists throughout the episode, and some are tied to Siddiq, who has Oceanside ties in the CBs. So once again, Oceanside comes into things, and that feels Bethish too.

Okay, I’ll shut up for today. Bottom line: I’m very excited for 8b and totally believe our girl is coming home. Thoughts?

Na denn, neuer Freitag, neue Folge.

Behring fährt anscheinend wieder Fahrrad. Für mich ein gutes Zeichen, dass er auf einem recht guten Weg ist

Das Hin und Her mit Tobi, seinem Vater, und seinem Sohn hab ich nicht so ganz verstanden. Die Szene, in der Talula das Baby bei Prof. Lewandowski vorbei gebracht hat passte irgendwie nicht ganz da rein, da der weder davor noch danach in irgend einer Weise ähnlich drauf war...

ich frag mich, warum Ava außerhalb der Klinik in Scrubs und drinnen in normalen Klamotten herumläuft, dort aber trotzdem arbeitet (bzw. zumindest Aufträge von Dr. von Arnstett bekommt) (außerdem frage ich mich, warum wir so viel Zeit auf sie verwenden und sie jetzt noch ihre Freundin mitbringen muss. Auf die wahrscheinlich noch mehr kommenden Szenen mit Yannik freu ich mich auch schon total *sarcasm*)

mir fehlt Talula. Wir bekommen zwar immer wenigstens noch eine/- Hand voll Szenen, aber nicht genug (persönliches Empfinden, story-technisch ist das so schon sinnvoll)

wie Lizzy wegen dem Betty 2.0/Behring ‘Date’ immer panischer geworden ist...hah! Den Familien Abend fand ich echt schön, und dann wurden auch die ersten Spuren gelegt, dass das ganze Kinder-und-Familie Thema bei Behring nochmal hochkommt (aber wirklich, das ganze foreshadowing lässt mich immer mehr an meine ‘Betty kommt schwanger wieder’ Theorie glauben)

wobei ich Behring’s Verhalten vor den ‘Date’ echt komisch fand. Was hat der sich denn erwartet? Bei den paar Szenen hab ich mich echt unwohl gefühlt. Mir war zwar klar, dass da nichts in der Richtung passiert, aber was sollten die ganzen komischen Blicke?

ich muss mir Folge 3 heute Abend nochmal ansehen, hab schon wieder vergessen, was da mit Prof. von Arnstett und Mira war. Aber irgendwas ist da, und ich weiß nicht, wie gut ich das finde (aber eher meh)

Was ich aus der Aufzugszene mit den Lewandowskis entnommen habe: Tobi ist schon länger Halbwaise und wurde von seinem Vater großgezogen. Der ist aber auch ein Idiot. Ich bin mal gespannt, ob es das jetzt mit den beiden war, oder ob wir da noch was Resolution-mäßiges bekommen - ein Lesen der Vorschau für nächste Folge verrät: ja, da kommt noch was

und mal wieder nicht wirklich was über original-Betty/Behring, das scheint nur ca. alle zwei Folgen vorzukommen (wobei die Vorschau für Folge 6 sich da ganz gut anhört) - vor nächstem Freitag sollte übrigens der Text über Folge 4x10 erscheinen, nächste Woche um die Zeit haben wir vermutlich schon erste Infos, wie die Rückkehr von Betty D. so aussehen wird. Letzte Nacht habe ich tatsächlich geträumt, dass in diesem Text wirklich steht, dass sie schwanger ist - da bin ich jetzt schon ziemlich eingeschossen drauf...

insgesamt können die Folgen bisher irgendwie die Vorfreude immer nicht ganz rechtfertigen, ich erhoffe mir da immer mehr. Vielleicht wird das ja rückblickend besser, wenn wir die ganze Staffel mal gesehen haben
