Logan Whitehurst's Very Tiny Songs is such a bittersweet project because on one hand, the tracks are a lot of fun, and you can tell Logan was enjoying himself making them. Just taking a bunch of requests from friends, family and fans without worrying too much about how they sounded. On the other hand, even though it's played mostly light, there's the sprinkling in of vaguely existential lyrics throughout it that constantly reminds you WHY he made this and it's just.

The song 'Vanilla's Love Life', which is *literally* a song about how his plastic snowman light gets bitches, made me tear up because it had the lines "Vanilla the plastic snowman / he has so much life to live / he has so much love to give" . It's so weird man.

Shidou terrifies me. His general vagueness 99% of the time which then switches into devout adoration and obsession about his family/children... it's REALLY hard to read the guy because I don't know what's real and what's fiction with him. It's easily become my favorite horror movie. I'm the type of person who watches so many horror movies nothing gets to me. I go through haunted houses laughing bc I find them fun and silly. Skinamarink SCARED me. Like genuinely shook me to my core on my first watch. I still haven't rewatched it

And I love it for that. It's so incredible and doesn't hold back. I was talking to @bittysteam about it last night. But the tragedy of Kevin and Kaylee sticks with me. They were just innocent children. They didn't understand what was happening. They just wanted to be safe. And yet this thing tortured and toyed with them. Taking away every last comfort.
