Sneak Peak of the Map of Cirel. It is no where near finished.
Well, the corner of the world where Cold as Ice and Pale Fire is set. Flight of the Dragon is set in this area too, but it is considered "ancient times", so the naming wouldn't be the same.
This was created in Inkarnate.

Extra Magic Hours (Andavri's 2013 SS gifts in Disney 2.1 Colors) - Part 1
This set is comprised of recolors for unfinished projects that Andavri sent my way once upon a time. These are 16 sets (counting different ages) of recolors for outfits she created for a PBK Secret Santa Gift in 2013. Info, pics, and links behind the cut!
The names of the sets are taken from the original outfits, so some of them sound quite similar. Every set has a custom swatch so you can see what you're getting.
1 - Plain Blue (PM)
This is the only outfit for the boys, a simple collared shirt with a white undershirt and tan pants. It uses the basegame overalls mesh. (Swatch)
2 - Blue Dotted (PF)
A sweet frock in a dotted pattern with ribbon-tied stockings. The mesh is by fakepeeps7, so you'll have to grab it from MTS. (Swatch)
3 - Green Lace (PF)
There aren't any bows on the bloomers, but this pinafore dress has them on the neckline & shoes and a huge bow in the back. Mesh by Cocomama is included. (Swatch)
4 - Green Stripey (PF)
A similar dress to Blue Dotted (uses the same mesh, grab it at MTS), but it feels fancier overall somehow? Some recolors have a monochrome look and others have a more contrasting stripe. This is my favorite of the toddler outfits. (Swatch)
5 - Hedgerow Calico (PF)
I don't know if Andavri was thinking of Mrs. Bennet's wailing about being thrown out into the hedgerows when she made these, but I certainly am. This dress uses the Free Time sailor mesh. (Swatch)
Conclusion
Let me stress that this is all Andavri's work. I just did the importing and previewing bits. Credit is also due to fakepeeps7, Cocomama, Liz, Sim Ages, Cynnix, and Trapping for their wonderful meshes/conversions.
Each outfit comes packed with a preview, swatch, and mesh (if allowed/required -- again, fakepeeps7's meshes have to be downloaded from MTS.) The recolors are all labeled/tooltipped/compressorized. The file names match the original outfit in the Secret Santa gift, just with the recolor name tacked on for easy reference.
If you want to see the toddler outfits in this set, pop over to Part One.

The TF & AF outfits can be found in Part 2 (check my Extra Magic Hours tag!)

Hiiiii! :D Happy Blorbo Blursday!
For each of your absolute top three favorite OCs to write, what's the best thing about writing each of them?
Hello, and happy belated Blorbo Blursday.
Thank you for such an interesting question. It's so hard to pick my top three OCs as I been writing most of this in some form or another since 2009. Preservation and all that.
One who would always make this list is Stewardess Cyras Giovanna Teresa Covelli da Lucci from Cold as Ice. Cyras is a fascinating character as she is as caring as she is duplicitous. She hasn't had the best life from her parents passing away early in her life, living on the streets, to being "adopted" by an Olessan Duke after the Emperor's permission and living in the Duke's abusive home. She would be used as a part of his schemes and quickly placed in the Olessan court and served a sort of spy.
Cyras learned at a young age that the court was filled with manipulative women and men. A single word could destroy a woman's reputation. From here on out, she would refuse to let fate or society describe who she was to be. She began to educate herself on the intricacies of court life.
Niccolo Napoli, her foster father, would marry her off to the Steward of the Olessan Empire. Despite that, she would describe herself as a self-made woman.
After she her husband is assassinated, she becomes acting Stewardess until such a time that she remarries or her daughter does. As a letter writer, Cyras is shrewd with a gift for lifting phrases out of other people's letters and using their words against them as if they were her own.
She's such an intricate character to write about and has been in development since 2009 where she was more subdued.
The Wraith from Cold as Ice is another fascinating character. She is a shadow blade and is regarded as the best assassin in Olessa. As she uses Body Magick, she can transform into just about anyone as she uses the magick to shift the bones in her face and body.
She is commonly seen as a pale woman with white hair and lifeless blue eyes. Her face tends to be pallid with flakes of ven seeping to the surface. She wears tattered robes of her order and can conjure blades of magickal energy which she uses to assassinate her foes.
Many think that the Wraith is a ghost from ancient times bound to do the bidding of the shadow council. In our terms, she could be described as a banshee or, even, as a woman in white.
What makes her fascinating to write about is that I have to write from her perspective with a presence in mind to leave crumbs about her true identity. This is not known until the last act of Cold as Ice.
Anabelle Laure Marguerite Vasser de Spacci from Pale Fire is another fascinating character to write about. Annie, as her love interest Shae calls her, is a shadow blade from the southern part of the Olessan Empire. She is both an assassin and an artifact hunter.
During her first mission, she was sent to an undiscovered landmass in the middle of the ocean off the Glorendine coast to investigate reports of a fisherman finding a lost temple. She would bring with her a guide who would end up touching an artifact from the Enethians -- a culture I explore in Flight of the Dragon -- and the result is an earthquake and tsunami that destroys two Glorendine coastal towns.
Annie only survives as she is washed in with the tsunami and lands in a tree. She suffers from some broken ribs and manages to make it to a Glorendine healer. When she discovers the destruction, she will drop to her knees.
Anabelle is forced to stay in the city as the government disallowed anyone to enter or leave. She is subjected to some of the worst people humanity has to offer, but she tries to make it a better place until the cities' lockdown is lifted.
Anabelle has severe PTSD about the event. She refuses to sleep in a bed and sleeps with her back against the bedframe as she wraps her arms around her knees. Any noise will wake her up. Also, she still has nightmares from it. These nightmares aren't vivid, but there more like memoires with the edges faded.
Anabelle turned to alcohol shortly after she returned to the Olessan Empire in hopes that it would drown out the memories and shame.
Her backstory and trauma are what makes her one of my favorite characters to write about. I actually had friend weep at her backstory.
Thank you so much for the wonderful question, @blind-the-winds. I apologize for the length, but I tend to be quite talkative about these three.

CC Blender Progress - 001
to be clear it's the fence I'm working on!
I didn't want to continue in the year without at least seeing an attempt of me putting some CC in my game. It's quite a bit of steps for me (meshing, doing ANYTHING with UV maps) but it's coming along.
As soon as I get this stuff at a certain quality I'll be happy to share!

ive been watching my happy marriage today as i recharge from the convention before i have to go thru 800 pictures 😭
and i just. my mind keeps thinking abt arranged marriage with shinsou. hes the adopted son of aizawa and comes with his own load of barriers from neglect and abandonment. youre chosen for him thru connections (tho ur both able to reject after a period of getting to know each other) and you just. you fall head over heels for him, hes so kind and sincere, wonderful and charming but he sees none of it himself and keeps thinking youre only there out of duty. hes so afraid youll end up 'settling' for him and will resent him later on in life like he saw with his former parents before they abandoned him. his quirk is also scary for people and hes afraid to interact too much with you lest he hurts you. he wouldnt ever, but hes afraid youll think so
one evening he admits to this with frustration and anger building up between you and then you give him the loveliest, most heartwarming confession and reassurance. aizawa accidentally overhears (shoji doors arent exactly very sound proof) and also almost tears up, so happy someone as you finds all the best qualities in his son as he does. idk id like to write smth like this, both with the mood of older japan but also as a character study. im so obsessed is wild JSJSJS
