Dating Hort of Bloodbrook

summary : general headcanons of dating Hort while being the princess of Camelot.

Note : I know this is late but this has been on my unfinished works since the movie came out. I fell in love with Hort, he is so cute and loyal to Sophie 🥹. I haven't read the books but I might soon when I need to escape reality again.

You will likely be a year younger than Tedros.

Because of the heir and the spare™.

I know it sounds bad but some rulers actually do those.

Tedros is extremely overprotective over you, especially when Queen Guinevere ran away with Lancelot and King Arthur died.

He's like the typical older brother you see in movies; handsome, buff, (kind off) a meathead, and annoys you to know end.

Will also be the first one to come to your defense.

When you got to the School of Good, you were determined to destroy the image of being Tedros' little sister.

Which results to you preferring to be a hero in your own story than being a queen in someone else's.

As expected, you quickly became friends with Agatha.

Not afraid to stand up to those who think girls are inferior to boys.

While the other Evers found the Nevers horrible for being future villains, you have a neutral perspective towards them.

After all, the School of Good has many stuck up and vain students.

Meeting Hort was definitely a memory to remember. It was when Professor Dovey took the first years to the Wish Fish (Let's pretend Agatha didn't free them).

When you put your hand on the water and begin to think of a wish, you didn't feel the water swirling like Agatha told you she experienced,

Instead, it was hand that intertwines its finger with yours.

And it harshly pulled you down the water.

The girls' screams and the professor calling out your name in panic caught the boys and Tedros' attention, running to the 'rescue'.

Under the water, you see someone smiling at you, or at least that's what you hopes he's doing.

A Never named Hort, son of Captain Hook.

Tedros immediately pulled you out of the water, with Hort in tow.

The angry professor commands the nearby guards to bring him back to the School of Evil and how Lady Lesso will surely punish him.

"It seems like I'm your wish, my lady."

He expects you to be disgusted like the other Evers. To his surprise, you give him the sweetest smile he has ever seen in his life.

"That you are, Hort of Bloodbrook."

To say Hort is surprised was an understatement.

You didn't only smile at him but also knew his name.

Cupid's arrow struck him at that moment. His villainous smirk drops, staring at you with wide eyes as much as he could before they were out of sight.

Tedros, who saw the whole thing, was not pleased and gave you a warning on how Nevers can't be trusted.

After your encounter, Hort seeks you out more.

You didn't mind, he is an odd yet funny companion.

He also doesn't care for one's physical appearance like the girls do or how you're nothing but a pretty face with a royal title like most guys think.

He encourages you to be yourself, like Agatha does.

You two would get judgmental looks from both sides.

Sophie was pissed, not only because Hort was losing interest in her but being the princess of Camelot is everything she wants to be.

So is Tedros. And everyone else who sees you together.

Agatha is just worried and would remind you to keep your guard up.

But you enjoy each other's company, that's what matters.

Hort was in love with you the moment you met but it took you a longer time to realize your feelings for him.

You only told Agatha about it but Tedros overheard.

Believe me when I say that Tedros will demand you to be examined.

"She's not under any spells, my prince."

"Are you certain?"

"Oh my God, I love Hort and there's nothing you can do about it!"

Everyone in the hall heard you.

Silence before a giddy howl ensues.

Hort runs to you and gives the biggest hug you could ever receive.

Despite being initially embarrassed, you returned it.

Before he could kiss you like he always dreamed of, Tedros stops him.

He pulls out Excalibur and points its tip on Hort's neck. Your brother will mercilessly give the poor boy threats if he broke your heart or hurt you in any way. Agatha joined in without words, just sending a warning glare on his way.

Hort would be lowkey terrified but so happy at the same time.

I mean you love him back. He could take a fucking army if you command him to.

Lady Lesso and Professor Dovey would only look at each other in disbelief, worried for what happens next.

Yeah I don't know the decision by Soman to have Hort and Sophie become a couple in OTK never really sat right with me. the focus of her character development over the Camelot Years was to become independent and strong without a relationship, and having her start dating Hort just sort of undid that, plus it just feels sort of like fan service in a way as it didn't contribute to either of their POST CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!!! Please tell me allllll about SFGAE Dick and Roy. I liked the world building of SFGAE (better thought-out than similar takes on the concept---I liked Ever After High but the world falls apart under the barest scrutiny) but I hated the characters and overarching narrative (well. I didn't get very far into Book 2: Misandrists Vs. Incels). So 👀👀👀👀

SGE Dickroy my beloved <333333

I have two different set ups for it! One is our dickroy getting stuck there and the other is that they grew up there. The similiarties is that dick is in the school for evil and roy in the school for good both times, also the headmaster is a creep but gets called out on it for this time because no one seems to think much of someone dating a someone and then years later dating her daughter's UNDERAGE best friend. He's 1000 years old and marrying a 15-16 year old its insane. Unfortunately for Dick the headmaster gets obsessed with him this time

Version one: superheros get stuck in the sge verse

Dick is kinda panicking over being put in the school for evil, he's a hero he's meant to be good (put in the school for evil because of his methods, willing to hurt others to succeed)

Roy is not a fan of this world, he's surrounded by princes. Princes.

I imagine variants of other superheroes are in this world and its weird interacting with others

Bruce is one of the teachers at the school for evil, and no one knows Dick lives with him. Dick has a weird relationship with this man (imaging variant of r:y1 but later happened right before this)

Ollie is a teacher at the school for good. Roy is pretty fine with this.

They're trying to get home through riddles but they're going in circles and Roy does not trust the headmaster. Dick does. They start fighting

Eventually they kiss and go home, but not before something in them changed. They move apart from each other and eventually jaderoy and dickkory happen but something is always there between the two of them, connecting them

Version two: always born there

All dc cities are under one unified government

Vampires!!! Bruce is the vampire king and Dick is his adopted son who isn't a natural born vampire its a whole thing

Roy is the adopted son of Ollie who is the Green Arrow, a similar figure to Robin Hood, and Hal, who is a defector from the glc which like usually in these aus of mine is evil (well controlling, its complicated) <3

They get their invitations to the school for good and the school for evil respectively and they're nervous as hell, they've been friends for a while but this? How will they survive this?

The headmaster is manipulating Dick again but this time Dick stabs him in the end :)

kinda tragic ending though where they accept their different natures and are never together :(, fate pulled them apart from the friends they were in their youth

but they still stay up at night thinking about each other

I have more but I can't get them into bullet point form and I don't feel like writing right now

Aggie's Family

A few headcanons about Agatha and her Fam

It doesn't matter if August Sader is in a relationship with Callis, he's there to for Agatha and he's her dad no matter what (sorry not sorry, Stefan, you kinda suck)

Callis is the most logical thinking person in the family followed by Reaper

She loves her daughter very much but can be quite mean sometimes to her and she feels immense guilt over it

Agatha reassures her mom that she's still the best and that they'll work it out

August is a big influence on why Agatha loves to read

Callis is a big influence on why Agatha loves witchy stuff, magic, and snark

Reaper is a big influence on why Agatha loves adventure and her immense curiousity

Agatha's their beloved sunshine bookworm goth child and they don't quite understand how she managed to be all of that

She loves to read stories and is studious but prefers narrative writing over actual books about lessons

August helps her in this. He creates stories out of the most mundane facts

Callis and Agatha experiment on various potions and they have a big garden around their house full of different plants. Gardening is a bonding time for the both of them

Speaking of their house, it's very victorian gothic. Dark and creepy just how Callis and Reaper like it but also classy and well-kept just as August likes it

Imagine the Addams's family house but surrounded by a very green, very wild garden

Reaper was assigned to look after Agatha when Callis and August were gone to go to the School to work and he and young Aggie love to play in the garden

One time Agatha got lost in it and everyone went insane

Reaper doesn't do it as much anymore after but after a few pleadings from Agatha, he gave in but has now taken precautions

August is the one that cooks because he fears for Agatha's diet. Callis thinks that he spoils her too much

They live quite peacefully until Agatha has to go to School and she starts becoming friends with the weirdest kids

First, she's best friends with Sophie and then she starts dating Tedros Pendragon of all people

To say that Aggie's family was opposed to this is an understatement

Plus I don't know why but I imagine Agatha's a Hufflepuff adopted by Ravenclaw mother (Callis) with her familiar (Reaper) and a Slytherin father (August) and they were all supposedly fine with the relations until Agatha started to date Tedros who was a definite Gryffindor

Soman needs to learn how to use a calendar

guys I’m so angry!!! looking at the actual dates mentioned in the text of The School for Good and Evil (Book 1), everything happened in just 44 days from “the eleventh day of the eleventh month” (November 11) to the morning after the No Ball/Snow Ball, which is “just before Christmas” (December 24) according to Kiko in Chapter 12. So Agatha kissed Sophie and they both disappeared from the school on the morning of Christmas Day (December 25).

Now, A World Without Princes (Book 2) opens 1 week before the anniversary of the kidnappings (November 11 of the next year), yet the book says the girls returned “9 months ago” which is February!?!? How did they spend the 2 months in between leaving the school and returning to Gavaldon???

Also the events of AWWP take place entirely within four weeks/1 month: Sophie hides in the church for 2 weeks after the Boys attack during Stefan’s wedding (1 week before the anniversary of the kidnappings), then is dragged into the Woods by the Elders at night, with Agatha in hot pursuit. They arrive the following dawn at the School for Girls & immediately start their first day of classes; Agatha sneaks into the the School for Boys to reunite with Tedros that very night, with Sophie secretly tailing her. The Trial by Tale, which is also the night the School Master got revived and Agatha and Tedros were sent back to Gavaldon, happens exactly 10 days afterwards (Chapter 13).

The Last Ever After (Book 3) begins one month after the end of AWWP, as Tedros complains in Chapter 5 that “[they’ve] been trapped for a month in the smallest, foulest house you can imagine” in Gavaldon.

The events of TLEA take place entirely within a month, a month and a half if we’re going to be lenient, as Tedros notes in Chapter 2 “[he’ll] be sixteen in a month” while in the last chapter it is explicitly stated that his sixteenth birthday and coronation will happen the next day.

This means only 1 year and 3 months have elapsed between Sophie and Agatha starting their first day at the SfGaE and Tedros’s coronation!!! The wedding of Agatha and Tedros is supposed to happen 8 months after his coronation...So Agatha is supposed to marry a boy she knew for barely 2 years and actually liked for even less??!!!

Also, Quests for Glory (Book 4) opens 6 months after the end of TLEA/Tedros’ coronation, and the rest of the Evers/Nevers were already in the middle of their Fourth Year quests, so they jumped from First Years to Fourth Years in...1 year and 9 months???
