I know a lot of ppl are struggling right now but I really need help trying to catch up on my rent before my landlord files for an eviction

my disability benefits ended, and I been trying to find a job I can handle for months now. but I used the last of my money and went negative paying for my medications for this month and now I have absolutely no way of even making a dent in the money I owe. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to find a job that isn’t physically demanding because I can’t stand for long periods.

I can not lose my apartment there is no way I can come up with a down payment for a new place or be accepted with an eviction on my record.

I don’t have anyone I can ask to help me in my life beside trying to crowdfund on here. I don’t know what I’m going to do about my meds next month or whats going to happen. I read from @ nzekiev on twitter that the day before yesterday it was very hard for Africans to get on any train in Kyiv, they were letting them in the last, many managed to get in only coz they started pushing African women into the train so they had to allow everyone in. Before that if they managed to get on the train they were sent back outside with the phrase "Ukrainians first", but nobody was checking anyone's passports.

Today, February 27, he says the Ukrainian soldiers at the Polish border were holding them at gunpoint if they crossed the border before Ukrainians. These are students, they can't be fighting this war!!! Other people of color share on twitter that it's harder for them to cross the border, a Nigerian medical student told @ stephheharty they were told Ukrainians go first and were sent to the back of the queue by Ukrainian soldiers on Polish border.

HELP AN ORPHANAGE IN HAITI!

As some of you know my mom and I have a small nonprofit, we've been helping a boys orphanage in Haiti for a while now. Almost all of that has been out of our own pockets and were far from rich so it's been kind of hard but we're determined to keep helping them!

Kids as young as 5 are being taken care of by the older kids in the orphanage with barely any staff or food. Most of them are still in school but lack the proper school supplies compared to their peers. These kids are the future of Haiti but with the lack of guidance and care at the orphanage some are leaving and just turning to gangs instead. The earthquakes in Haiti has been tragic and a reason why so many of these kids are without families. We just want to give them a fighting chance and show that people do care about them.
