What's the Blook family situation in your post-paci AU?

mettaton, surprisingly, isn't world famous yet, and even more surprisingly, he's okay with that. now that he's in his true body, he feels a lot less impatient about this kind of thing. turns out, ghosts have long lifespans and theyre a lot less likely to be worn by the course of time if they aren't dealing with daily dysphoria. mettaton feels like he can slow down again, finally. he has time to repair relationships. he has time to help napstablook establish a new snail farm in a small, welcoming town. he has time to become a radio host and staple of the small town's culture, serenading them with his lovely voice and playing his cousin's music over the radio (with their permission, of course!) i imagine shyren and lemonbread live in this town too, and have opened up a bakery together. sometime's blooky mettaton and shyren will perform together. napstablook is pretty happy too, they have their cousin back and he's so much happier this way. they think he looks amazing and they're so proud of him. of course, they aren't without their own struggles, the main issue for blooky being that mettaton is trying to make up for abandoning them Too hard and they are feeling a bit smothered. they aren't sure how to tell him that though. ooooooooooohhh.......

mad mew mew moved to the city! she's given up on undyne for good but she is hoping maybe here she'll meet someone new. she tried a few dates on a tinder equivalent and it was nice to meet people and find out that a lot human girls like her body almost as much as she does! but in the end it wasnt really... what she wanted and she gave up on it. one day she was at a cafe and someone complimented her on her mew mew "cosplay". they got in a conversation and it turns out they had a lot in common! for example, the stranger is also a trans woman whose transition journey was partially inspired by mew mew kissy cutie. she's kind of geeky and very cute. they start talking more and opening up to each other. she tells maddie she's working on a mew mew fan-game and she wonders if she'd be willing to do voice work for the game, since maddie's voice is uhm... very very similar to mew mew's to say the least. it takes some practice but maddie gets really into voice acting in general (not just for the game) and starts to work towards being a freelance voice actress. meanwhile, she wonders if she should tell her new friend how she really feels...

All fandoms have their......issues. I don’t heavily interact with fandoms but the other cosplayers I’ve met at cons were pretty cool

“Despite everything, it’s still you.” I’ve cross stitched it and it was on my college graduation cap.

I really love how Hopes and Dreams ties a few of the other themes into it

Oh geez...playing the pacifist route makes me feel warm inside, but...I admit I’ve done about fifteen genocide runs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

7. Why did you decide to play UT?

Long story short, I was having an anxiety problem and I needed a distraction. I started playing and fell in love. Since then it’s been my go to for panic attack prevention.

The Mettaton battle is lots of fun. I do enjoy fighting Sans, though...I’m actually better at fighting him than Undyne the Undying

TECHNICALLY it was the hard mode end at the end of the ruins--I knew Frisk’s name from tumblr and named the fallen child that first. I then proceeded to grind since it was hard to survive. Then I reset and got the no-kill neautral ending before the pacifist end.

Waterfall is so pretty

Patience lived with Toriel for at least a few months. The last of them fell a long time before Frisk did--long enough that most monsters Frisk encounters hadn’t been born/were very young when 6 fell, since many monsters don’t recognize Frisk as human.

Okay, need some help from UK friends who either have experience making cosplay music videos or are Undertale cosplayers/ fans themselves and will be attending Kitacon this summer. Starting to form ideas for a Mettaton CMV in place of my original idea. To pull it off however, what I'll need is: - some form of stage - a crowd (doesn't have to be all cosplayers, both humans and monsters are needed) - a couple of decent quality video cameras (zoom function essential, so phones are no good) - At least Napstablook, Shyren, Alphys, Undyne, Burgerpants, Frisk and Skelebros cosplayers. Bratty, Catty and others appreciated if possible - DJ equipment, synths and microphones (don't have to be working or even real) - spot lights. Portable/ standalone are fine if access to a full rig and desk isn't possible. Heck, maybe even heavy duty torches? - maybe a green screen May need help with choreographing as well. At this point, I'm not wedded to the idea of it happening at Kita, it would just be the most convenient event to do it. If this can happen, I will love everyone who helped forever. I appreciate that quite a lot is needed for what is essentially a labour of love, but I will reward you (as far as I can afford to). Even just pointing me in the right direction as to where and how to sort everything would be awesome.

Post-Pacifist Undertale headcanons

So there is a story coming this week and it’s gonna be Undertale but I need to finish up the ending. Today I was thinking about headcanons for the snippets I’m writing since it’s post-pacifist and there is so much up for interpretation. I’d also like to preface all this saying there are lots of cool ideas and pairings out there so I don’t want to come off as “anti-” anything, alright? Headcanons under the cut (Might post more if I think of them or people ask about specific things):

GENERAL

It didn’t actually take that long for humans to come around to the existence of Monsters. Granted, there are always going to be those who are prejudicial, but things went pretty smoothly! Part of this is the many, many children who absolutely lost their minds at real monsters. I mean, oh my god the kids alone who grew up with stuff like “Monsters, Inc.” or “Lilo and Stitch” who would beg their parents to hang out with the new friends.

Mettaton, when not on stage performing with Shyren and Napstablook, is sought-after as a fashion consultant. Has been on talk shows all over the world.

Monster Kid is studying to be a teacher at Toriel’s school. His cheery personality is very popular with kids.

Grillby’s is more successful than ever Aboveground. Many humans think his fire room is one of the coolest things to exist in a bar.

Frisk and Sans ran into Nice Cream Guy and Burgerpants at a restaurant a few years post-pacifist. BP immediately got flustered and said it was not a date. Sans pointed out no one asked if it was a date. NCG just laughed and held BP’s hand. More flustered speech ensued.

Frisk

They never officially chose a specific gender to identify as. Anyone who tries to give them shit about it will be given hell.

As a child played dress up with Mettaton frequently.

Frisk is really lean and muscular from physical training sessions with Undyne. Can and has broken up fights by trouble-makers.

Not always the best student because they are always seeking out adventure in the great world. Is a little lost in what they want to do for the rest of their life, but who isn’t?

Frisk went through an edgy teenager period where they’d say things such as “you’re not my real mom!” to Toriel (and then would immediately apologize after Toriel would start to tear up).

The skelebros

Papyrus, lacking a royal guard to join, volunteers EVERYWHERE. Animal shelters? He does the jobs no one else wants to do. Bake sales? Guess who made the best brownies in town. Reading to kids in hospitals or senior homes? The dude has entire collections of books to bring. He’s well known in town and everyone pretty much adores him.

Sans returned to his true calling: science. He works with Dr. Alphys as well as a whole team of scientists in a lab. Although some days are still very difficult, he’s doing a lot better emotionally. On that note, he has begun his own research into the disappearance of an old colleague. If Frisk could help release the monsters from the Underground, anything is possible, right?

Papyrus may be naive, but he knows a lot more than he lets on.

Toriel and Asgore

After some convincing from mutual friends, the two went to counseling together to discuss the loss of their children. Lots of things were said on both sides that needed to finally be let out.

Toriel has never completely forgiven Asgore for the death of the children who fell. Over time, however, she’s allowed herself to move on and let go of the anger.

While there is no specific definition of their relationship, the two now live together and seem to be very close romantically. Yet, it’s still not as it was before the events of the game.

Sans and Toriel are ALWAYS texting each other god-awful puns. If it’s a particularly good one, Toriel will show it to Asgore for a good chuckle.

Toriel’s school is particularly popular for disabled students because of Monster’s natural inclination to not even bat an eye at the many differences of others.

Alphys and Undyne

Undyne runs a local gym that teaches self-defense. Also does classes involving spear-weaponry. Surprisingly (or perhaps not), the spear class is not as popular as Undyne would like it to be.

The two totally go to anime conventions in full couple’s cosplay. They have won several competitions.

Alphys is a pioneer in research on the possible uses of magic in combination with technology.

While Sans doesn’t know it, Alphys is completely aware of his project to figure out what happened to W.D. Gaster and the others. She helps in whatever ways she can, but so far hasn’t had the courage to tell him she knows.

They got married a few years after going Aboveground. It was a gorgeous ceremony and when they read their vows to one another, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Rant post. You aren’t obligated to read! 🤟

You know when you just have one of those days where nothing is *inherently* wrong but you’re just completely and totally bummed out? I’m glad I’m going to attempt to slip into a Shyren cosplay tonight because goddamn I’m emotional.

I realized that even though I sometimes info dump about Undertale Aus to my hubby he still “doesn’t know enough to put together” my birthday party. Even though I know a bit about computers to make him a motherboard cake. I *dont* mind doing my own birthday setup I’m freakin going to be 32, but it’s just a little like... no effort to even know about something I’m invested about because he doesn’t care about Undertale? Like even my baby (24) sister who’s only so-so on Undertale is like heck yah ok I’ll make a butterscotch cinnamon pie and wear Undyne colours. And my mom is on the same board as him like “meh I just don’t know enough about it” like Srsly!! have you heard of google!? (I wanna note I love my mom and she’s honestly just got her own shit going on and neither one of them are obligated to care at ALL about Undertale, I’m just bummed). Then, I didn’t get picked to be a part of something I’ve been wanting to be a part of for a super long time, after three auditions and so yeah. I understand I’m just not feeling great and don’t have anywhere else to really post about it. I’ll probably delete it later. Any way now I’m honestly debating doing a themed birthday at all, if literally the only two that are gonna be havin fun or understand anything is my sister and I. Like fuck I’ll just make donuts and leave it at that. Why should I put effort into this when I’m gonna have to be explaining myself all day long like I’m tired y’all
