"BodyCaptureX500" Functional Scale for TS2!

So i made my first functional object for this game, it was a wild ride! But it was so fun too, this object is a scale that can tell the weigh of your Sims in fitness points, the more they have, the more they weight, the less they have, they are fitter. And also tells your Sim's fitness decay if you have Nopke's fitness decay mod, so really useful for gameplay or just decor! ⚖️

More objects! A whole set this time. I've been cooking up my Genremax Remix set for a while now. A few of you have asked about it. I'm happy to say I'm finally ready to release it!

These happened because I saw @simsco's 4t2 Genremax loveseat and sofa add-on, and I wanted more! I edited the loveseat and sofa a bit, and added a chair-and-a-half, two coffee tables, and three bedframes.

My edit includes repo'ing the frame to the Ikea Malm bed and a slight tweak to the seat cushion to tighten up the overall look.

Includes all of the EAxis textures, plus a bonus no pillows recolor, mostly to let you remove the pillows from the daybed. Because it's now repo'ed to the Ikea Malm bed, I didn't include any frame recolors. It will use any Malm bed recolors you already have, plus the original Malm bed textures.

The only slots are the ones on the tops of the coffee tables. Adding slots is way beyond my skill level. You can use OMSP's or one of the mods that lets you shift things. Sorry!

The bed frames require frameless beds. I've included the single and double ones by @hokadk47.

NOTE: Requires the Ikea SP. I have all EP's and SP's installed in my game. Anything in this set with cushions also requires the loveseat from this set. Anything without cushions only requires the Ikea SP.

Frame recolours of 2005 Classic Brass Bed & Princess Brass Bed.

I’m not sure if this has been done elsewhere but from my own search Raquel’s stuff barely exists anymore and she’s been retired since about 2008.

But I did this initially for my own game, then decided I might as well share it. I can never get enough bed frames.

The base/mesh files contain a standard gold already but I found it too dark. I made a lighter one.

*WARNING* the Princess Brass Bed is high poly for a bed. If your game is slow or prone to crashing, this bed isn’t recommended. The Classic, however, is fine.

So the files are labeled same as on the swatch. Classic swatch doesn’t have labels but they’re pretty obvious 🤷🏼‍♀️

Luvly Llamas: A Llama-Themed CC Pack for The Sims 2!

Shortly before my original simblr went down, I was browsing through the debug mode of the Cottage Living pack and discovered a debug llama just chilling there. Simple enough to convert, right? But then I got dared to convert not just that, but pretty much every llama-themed object from the base game. Only that I went very off-track and ended up with a whole pack on my hands. So, yeah. Consider this a new simblr gift!

All in all, there are 15 items, mostly converted straight from TS4 or my own edits. But enough rambling. On with the post... at least under the cut!

Buy and Build Mode

First up: the sculptures! These are the original Debug Llama from Cottage Living in 3 different sizes; the Flying Llama and Ultimate Freezer Bunny Award that are unlockable objects; and the Llama Mama statue, accompanied by a smaller Llama Llama (yes, it's literally called just that) that I wanted. Because it's cute. Duh.

Everything is pretty high-poly. I think that the Flying Llama itself is 4k polys, but the real monster is the debug llamas. 7k polys. Yep, 7132 polys of debug sculptures. You have been warned!

Next, we have my self-proclaimed 'Lotsa Llama' paintings! These come on frames that I converted myself from the base game, so they don't require external meshes or whatever. Also, don't be fooled. The ivy will, in fact, intersect them when they're actually against the wall.

Lastly for the BB section, we have my personal favourite: the Lotta Llama Topiary, also from the base game! It can be found under the Shrubs section and is not seasonal, since I'm not too experienced with that just yet.

IMO, this is the star of the whole show, and the conversion I'm most proud of. Introducing: my very first earrings conversion!

These are the EP11 (ignore the preview) 'Llama' earrings from the Cottage Living pack. They are available for young adults through elders, are found under the 'glasses' category, and are just under 1k polys. Compressed, tooltipped, and all useless ages removed!

Hood Decorations

Lastly, we have the very first conversions that I attempted for this pack. These are the debug llamas from the Cottage Living pack... as hood decorations! I found the idea of this way to charming, so I just had to try. So far, I'm really loving them!

Done in collab with wonderful @pforestsims – it's 2024, high time to rework how cameras work in TS2!

With this mod, sims can only take pictures if they have a camera in their inventory. To make this more feasible, the default camera is now buyable under Electronics / Small for §120. (If your sim happens to leave on a vacation without a camera, they can still ask kind locals and tourists to take pictures for them.)

In addition, there are six new functional custom cameras.

For most cameras, you'll need to order the photo with a computer to get a printed version, as is the default behavior.

Instant cameras: With Classic Polaroid and Instax cameras, the photo will be added to your sim's inventory right away. They require the instant photo mesh to work (included with the download). The photos taken with instant cameras can't be ordered with computers.

By default, the instant photo has a clear vignette overlay. You can add a tint to it by clicking the mesh and choosing either blue, green, red, or orange tint from the pie menu. It's also possible to revert it back to being clear.

There are two versions of this mod: the 'cellphone' one makes the cellphone work as a camera and is meant to be used together with my phone default. The cellphone will get picked for taking pictures only if the sim doesn't have another camera in their inventory.

The 'no cellphone' version has all the other functionality but the default cellphone won't work as a camera with it.

Files are compressed. Requires Bon Voyage and maybe University too. A collection file for the custom cameras is included; you can keep only those that you like, the mod works with or without them.

🚨🚨 Conflicts with the custom smartphone camera mod by @jellymeduza. Meduza has shared compatible versions in that same post.

This mod conflicts and isn't compatible with no bad photos mod by @picknmixsims.

There's also a conflict with the snowproof accessories mod by guirnaldas. Both mods will work if you make the camera overhaul load after the snowproof accessories.

This mod is compatible with camera default replacements that don't include an OBJD override, for example this one by @vegan-kaktus or this one by me works perfectly.

Update (24.4.2024): Visiting sims can now be asked to take a picture for you if they have a non-instant camera in their inventory.

Update (29.1.2024): Taking pictures with instant cameras now fulfills the want to take a picture just as the normal cameras do. Sims using instant cameras also correctly gain art enthusiasm from it.

Update (28.1.2024): Both the default and the custom cameras won't get covered in snow anymore if used outdoors when there's snow on the ground.

The mirrorless camera was converted from TS4 by @lordcrumps, thank you for sharing the textures! The telephoto camera was converted from TS4 for this project, thank you @deedee-sims for extracting! The DSLR camera was converted for this project as well, from ACNH.

Wall Drape Tv and Projector for The Sims 2

I couldn't resist converting these two objects from Syboulette "Love is in the Air" Set, low poly.

The Wall Drape is a functional Tv based on 2fingerswhiskey tv's.

The projector is only deco but can be turned on and off with lights and an effect (you can find it in small electronics).
