The continent of Scarria. hidden behind a wall of magical mist made by magical bird tribe. Yes this is an au                          Map, explained! (Credit to Scarria belongs to me and my friend, i just own the desings and 3/6 of the tribes of the contient)   Marshland, Rainforests, deserts, tundra, mountain range and the islands around the continent are self explanatory Eye of the land - references to the eye shape of the continent, this massive lake and island within it are religious ground to the batwings and they call the island withing 'Irisus'. Flamepeak - within the middle of the continent and surrounded by water, this mountain shows no volcanic movement but is regarded as a 'sleeping volcano' and is rumoured to have an ancient being locked within it, a being made of fire and magma, no one has proved or disproved as exploring within the mountain is forbidden and made illegal by all four current queens. Many dragons believe that climbing this mountain will grant fortune and wishes. The ancient ruins - four massive ancient ruins are scattered across the lands, over 300 years ago began a massive war that was caused by the four that time kingdoms fighting over the land that existed, causing grave destruction to the land and causing the deaths of the four queens of that time when the ancient spirits collapsed the castles of the four queens atop them. Leading the heirs who inherited the thrones to unite the four kingdoms into one massive kingdom to be ruled by four royal families and democracy. One still living dragon from this time is Queen Insular of the batwings, due to batwings having a proven much longer livespan than other tribes. Heart placing palace - the largest build ever made and able to house a massive amounts of dragons, it has many spirals going up and many rooms showcasing the culture of the four tribes that rule from within it. Four royal families life within this palace and its the 'heart of the continent', this has a reasoned nickname not explained much, even if oddly placing. Mist wall - this massive wall of mist is the reason this continent has yet to be found, this wall of mist surrounds the continent and its nearby isles. It is enchanted so when you try to enter the continent from the outside you get teleported to the other side of the continent outside the wall again, causing dragons to dismiss this mass of clouds to be smaller than it is. As well is this mist used to deflect any and all kind of outside magic (ie: spells from Darkstalker and Jerboa III being the most recent example)

My Wings of Fire fantribe (Part 1)
Tribe name: WebWings
Royalty: Queen Maratus, Prince Huntsman, Princesses Sicarius, Arachnid, and Tarantula
Territory: The mountains of Pantala
Kingdom description: Large webs span across the areas between mountains. They are layered far enough apart to walk, but not enough to fly. Cave systems inside the mountains are used as houses, schools, and a palace. The main outdoor area is referred to as The Webs, and it is like a marketplace and popular hang out.
Colors: Main scales are typically shades of brown or black, with web patterns on the underside of the wings. May have different color patterns covering the body.
Body type: Small torsos with long, thin legs and necks. Rounded wings. Four extra arms that are noticeably smaller.
Extra information: Heavily based on spiders. Silk glands can be on the tail or near the snout - if they are on the snout, the dragon has mandibles, I'd the glands are on the tail, the dragon will have spinnerets. All WebWings have venom, which is injected through biting. Either eight or six eyes, depending on the dragon. Omnivores with a strong preference for bugs. Early WebWings are said to have been cannibalistic.
Tumblr media
Dark black (on the face): Example of mandibles (not every dragon has these!)
Blue (tip of tail and behind mandible example): potential silk glands locations
Red (torso): small, extra limbs
Green (in mouth): venom fangs
(By the way, though I doubt anybody will want to use my WebWing design, if you do, please ask and credit me!)

hello everyone! please buckle in because i am about to be an unstoppable force unable to shut up about my fantribes and alt tfoh timeline branch au
note that many things are bolded, italicized, colored differently for more readability and to bring focus to important points!
THIS WILL PROBABLY BE DIVIDED INTO MULTIPLE POSTS/REBLOGS!! i have a HUGE amount of development for this story you have no fucking clue
THE PREMISE & THE PLACE
So, first things first: Where are we in this quaint little alternate universe that totally doesn’t have at least two massive intertwining overcomplicated plotlines?
We are on Tipula! (No completed map as of current.) Tipula is the primary title of various genera of crane fly, a family which incidentally has the rarest insect species known to date under its tree.
Now, what’s so important about Tipula? Why are we here?
Tipula is the last of the seven dragon continents (Pyrrhia, Pantala, Oedalus, Vespina, Aedes, Povilla), in the context of surviving the spread of the othermind.
Yeah, sorry, guys, it’s that kind of AU—even though I don’t delve into the WoF community much, I’m sure it’s done to death at this point. BUT! I like to think my spin on it is completely unique in its own right!
Moving on!
How has Tipula survived? What happened to everyone else?
Centuries upon centuries ago, in the dying breaths of Tipula’s last animus, she cast a spell that protected the entirety of the continent from invaders. But that’s not all: the enchantment held her spirit, which would guide dragons fleeing from tragedy and disaster to Tipula’s shores. To anyone else, it was hidden. Imperceivable and nonexistent to those who had never heard of it in the first place.
Even before realizing Luna’s failure, many dragons had already prepared themselves to leave; inhabitants of Pyrrhia and Pantala alike. Somehow, some way, something of perhaps two hundred or more dragons escaped the horrible disaster that was beginning to take place.
Many did not survive. But many more held on, flying until their wings ached and screamed. Carrying their tired, crying children and leaning to the sides of the elderly when they could hardly keep up, eggs wrapped carefully in bags of some kind or another—only for many to be lost to sea. Barely finding any places of rest, driven from the shores of every new continent as they were greeted with only hostility and fear.
... There were whispers in Lichen’s ears.
A frail old RainWing, never having been pushed this far for this long. No suntime, no naps, no fruit or hammocks or furry friends... but she was old enough to know tragedy. She knew how to push forward, and how to motivate the youth of her tribe to keep moving when they grew bitter and hopeless.
Perhaps her age was getting the better of her, her deteriorating mind telling her things that didn’t quite make sense.
Still, she pulled herself to the front of the exhausted group, and murmured in the ear of her queen. She repeated the words that had been spoken to her just moments before.
“Angle yourselves further left. There is a small tropical island, with enough food for every dragon to have one meal. It is safe to rest there. Then fly straight, and you will be guided the rest of the way.”
Glory seemed as bewildered and uncertain as Lichen herself, but, seeing as they were already aimless in their flight, she relayed the information to the queens that had come along and still survived this far.
(Ruby’s confidence was unwavering, and it had gotten her all the way up to here. Snowfall would do anything for her tribe, determined to prove she could survive for their sake. Coral and the SeaWings were already well-built for such a journey regardless. But Moorhen had been lost to the waves when the first storm hit six days prior, and Thorn had refused to leave without at least trying to save their home.)
It seemed crazy. And yet, their hope at its last embers, they took a chance.
And there it was: the island. Relieved at such a miracle, they settled down; replenishing their energy until they all felt they could move forward again.
In the distance, the blurred figure of a dragon flew forth. Not knowing what else to do, they followed. Their uncertainties and their fears were cast aside, knowing, ultimately, this was their only hope. Now was not the time for doubt, for questions, for hesitation: they had to trust that this would lead them to safety.
...
One by one, talons met sand. One hundred and thirteen dragons landed on the shores of Tipula, greeted by curious eyes and a kindness they had not been granted for days on end. These dragons had not known war or continental conflict: their priority was peace and knowledge, acceptance first and foremost. There were no queens, no rulers—but instead a council that decided the laws with input from all the tribes across the continent, and oversaw the fair trials of all alleged criminals.
The refugees settled in. Purity of blood could not upheld, and centuries passed, the number of Tipulan tribes almost doubling as division of bloodlines created entirely new dragons.
Originally, Tipula had CavernWings, CloudWings, BlazeWings, and... BeetleWings. BeetleWings had come from this continent, and, as it seemed... they were not lost to time at all.
Now, seven new tribes exist among them: ScaldWings, DustWings, FrostWings, GaleWings, SproutWings, VineWings, and... HiveWings, but not. Modern HiveWings, I call them.
All of these tribes will be covered in their own posts and/or reblogs! :)
———
THIS POST IS CONSIDERED INCOMPLETE FOR NOW.
There are a LOT of story details I still need to fit in here, and I may have to reorganize plotpoints and rewrite paragraphs, plus I still need to figure out what I should be putting in separate posts instead of just here. Stay tuned! :)
And also I’m not done being an annoying highlighter with the text.

heres cactus, one of my most beloved characters. he doesn’t really have lore but his irl history is a bit of a doozy so i’ll put it under the cut
Tumblr media
(and just as a reminder, likes don't really do anything on tumblr so i'd really appreciate reblogs instead! /gen)
so in early 2020, two DeviantArt users created a Wings Of Fire fantribe called HabitatWings. the species was basically just dragons with plants growing out of them. i didn't really know anyone involved with the project but i liked the look of the species and decided to join the discord server.
i bought a MYO in march of 2020 and designed cactus. (he was the first MYO design ever submitted and i designed him on my brithday!)
and for about six months, everything was great. i made a bunch of friends in the server, i drew tons of plant dragons, and i even became a staff member. cactus was my discord profile picture for a LONG time and i nicknamed myself "cactus the stupid" in that server. there was even an emoji of cactus. the server grew to 300+ members and it felt like nothing would ever go wrong.
and then one of the co-founders left, both were called out for some generally nasty shit, and an ungodly amount of drama went down between the co-founders (and people who sided with one or the other). ownership of the species and server switched to one of the original staff members (kiwi), and things smoothed out for a while.
except for one small problem. the co-founder who'd been called out never actually left. we (the staff team) them keep their alt in the server with staff permissions. i don't know why we decided to allow it and it was, unsurprisingly, a huge mistake.
eventually something got out about the founder still being in the server. this was maybe a year after the server's creation. there was about a day of discussion between kiwi and the founder. they decided that one of them had to leave. and it ended up being kiwi.
the server collapsed in about two days. everyone i knew left and i haven't talked to most of them since. i dont even know where they went. i was genuinely upset about it all, i had made connections on that server that i really valued and now without it they just kind of faded away.
i kept all of my habitatwings. i was going to redesign them but i never got around to it. i only just redesigned cactus a few months ago.
anyway, thank you for reading this far! as a token of my appreciation, here's the original cactus emoji (and my profile pic for about a year)

I was on Tiger Widow Island with the ninja from Lego Ninjago, specifically the rebooted ones. It was a small cult-like community run by Queen from Deltarune.
We had to steal a flower from inside her palace, and we sent a little kid to sneak through the vents, and they got lost the first time. They found it easily the second.
After we got it, we went and hid in the nearby forest. The flower could turn us invisible at will, so we did that.
I went back outside for some reason and encountered a guard. He attempted multiple times to speak to me in code, but I was dumb. He finally said “the shepherd is sad, you should go check on it.” The forest where the Ninja were hiding was apparently called Shepherd Forest (it was only as big as a classroom, not really a forest, but I digress.) Somehow I figured out what this meant and ran back to the Ninja. I got them to run to the forest diagonally across the island, where we were then promptly captured by huge cat-like guards.
They took us to see Queen, and I accused her of running a cult. She brushed me off, and I escaped along with Nya. Nya wanted to go back and rescue her friends, but I had other goals. I turned into a MudWing and started swimming away from the island.
I got a fair distance away before getting chased by six butterfly-like dragons. I was able to swim just ahead of them, and Queen appeared, swimming right alongside me. She was surprised at how well I could swim, and did some math to see exactly how fast I was. She engaged me in conversation (while still having her henchmen and herself chase me) and we seemed to make some progress as friends. She mentioned that she would memorize her appearance so she could submit it as a fantribe. My form was a yellow and gold MudWing with a white chest, and a crescent moon in the middle of it.
As it felt that we became closer emotionally, we came across a sort of half-submerged shipwreck. Its appearance startled me, so I swam just a little bit slower. Queen finally caught up to me and she dragged me back to the island, while I begged her to reconsider.
After she took me back to everyone else (including Nya), Queen told us that she just might be able to “flop us back home,” in her words. We just had to return her flower.
I asked her to sign a contract, and she was surprised. She told me that everyone else has asked her to make a poem or a poster about it, but not a contract. She and her henchman sat in front of a computer, struggling to type it out.
She finally got it right and had me look it over. The contract was completely honest, so she signed it. She also wrote the poem and poster about how she was sending us back.
Nya handed over the flower, and suddenly it was night, and we were standing in the Walmart parking lot. The Queen had kept her word. I imagine that it was my conversation with her that gave her that change of heart.

It's kinda stupid how Tui had to go to the lost continent just because she ran out of SandWing names! We could use more names that had deformities in them, like Six-Claws. Or she could've asked the fandom, we can give her like 50+ SandWing names in a hour.. Although she probably can't credit them in the book tbh.
it was a goof about the sandwing names but tbh i think it’s just the series sliding into doing only what the fans want, which is good in moderation but not like this
people made fantribes, so tui assumes people want to see more tribes, so the story shifts away from the current continent as fast as possible to show off more tribes despite the development that could still happen on pyrrhia.
hopefully the two continents end up tied together story-wise and we don’t just have pyrrhia locked in the first two arcs for the rest of time
