Die Tage der Sommersonnenwende und der Wintersonnenwende stehen im Mittelpunkt unserer Religion.

Am Tag der Wintersonnenwende wird sich gemeinschaftlich getroffen. Während des Sonnenuntergangs werden Gebete unter freiem Himmel abgehalten, bei welchen für besonders lange Tage und kurze Nächte im kommenden Sommer gebetet wird.

Am Tag der Sommersonnenwende hingegen werden Treffen in großen Gruppen abgehalten, reichlich Gebäck und Alkohol aus Getreide wird serviert und Tänze zu Ehren der Solis, mit Armbewegungen in Richtung des Himmels, abgehalten. Dieser Tag wird ausgelassen gefeiert. Mit dem Sonnenuntergang wird eine Danksagung für die vergangenen langen Tage unter Schutz der Solis eingeleitet und Gebete gesprochen. Diese Sitzung wird ebenfalls unter freiem Himmel abgehalten.

Sadly, there aren't many romantic traditions outside of weddings and even less that would suit König. Alass, most of them involve getting your home wrecked the day before the wedding to prepare you for married life.

HOWEVER!

After rigorous searching (and forgetting the names of a lot of things I should know), there are a few things I think would suit him!

First off, Maistriche! (=May Stripes)

It's a tradition where family members of lovers (or to-be-lovers) draw a line connecting their houses. Now, since I don't think his parents or anyone related to him are in the military, he'd have most likely told your squad members about the tradition.

Then on a sunny day in spring, you'd woken up to see a white line on the floor, leading from your apartment to his! Once he found out, he'd be so bashful about it and kicking his feet 'n stuff <3

If you don't know what it means and ask him to explain, he will run though. Don't chase after him, there's no way you could catch up to him with his long ass legs.

Also, König would definitely make you wear Tracht with him when going somewhere for an Austrian tradition, like the pulling up of the Maibaum or the Sommersonnenwende. He just likes seeing you wearing clothes that mean a lot to him :)

Had to ask someone to help me remember this one, but there used to be a thing called Fenster Kreuz, where the parents of girls would put a blockade on her windows so boys couldn't climb into them.

That being said, I think he had some on his windows, which you had to learn the hard way. (it took him a few hours to take out that thing after you tried to impress him with a disney prince ass move)

Even if romantic traditions in Austria are lackluster at best, König still tries his best to share his culture with you :)

A/N: The amount of ugly ass, cheap ass Tracht is baffling. I just tried to look up some good examples to link, but honestly what the fuck are y'all doing with my culture over there😭😭
