Let’s rewind to day 7 of #jamuary2020, when I made one of my favourite jams of the month. I’m very happy with the #sounddesign (listen on proper speakers / headphones to hear the subby dubby bass), the programmed sequences on the #digitakt and the performance. I remember feeling unusually comfortable while recording this - I took my time to experiment and get into the flow of the song. I’m sending 3 different sequences (of different lengths) from the #digitakt to the #prophetrev2, which is making the main #synth sound - the first patch on the Prophet that I made myself. On the second day of #jamuary2020 I experimented with this #futuregarage style. Specifically, I tried to recreate the sound of #burial. A fat #reesebass on the #prophetrev2, a flute on the #volcafm (through #thermae + #ventris) and the drums on the #digitakt. I used some #foley samples of clicking cameras for the percussion.
