Lucie was beyond tired— not because she had get up for work the next morning, but because she’s sick and tired of being mistakened for her husbands sister. Jake Seresin is a blonde man, while Lucie Bradshaw-Seresin still had streaks of her brunette hair left. She couldn’t help but think about what that waitress said a couple of nights ago.

Look normally comments don’t bother her, being a mother and a woman in the navy she’s built a pretty thick shield around herself, Lucie always throws a fake smile on her face and pushes it to the back of her mind. But she’s cant help but realize the wrinkles that have made her face their new home or how her bones cracked when she went on her morning and evening run.

She’s getting old— what’s new?, You can only handle being mistakened as your husband’s sister for so long before your self-confidence sinks into hell. Lucie Seresin is always been known for impulsiveness, she’s proved it too many times to count. There’s a reason why the navy calls her Falcon.

An example is allowing that jackass to walk all over her.

She was standing infront of the bathroom mirror alongside her was a box of brown hair dye on the counter. While Lucie there she spends sometimes looking at herself, picking and prodding at her sagging skin.

Surprisingly. Only because she’s afraid of what Jake will think if her hair is re-dyed.

No matter how many times she dyes her hair, she still be old. “Hey Jake where’s your old lady at?”.

Lucie talked him up. She recognized that cologne from anywhere, Lucie straightens up and throws a fake smile on her face and greets her husband.“Hello Lieutenant Commander?”.

“I hate that dumb fuck so much”. Jake says, he has one hand on his hip and the other hand is carding through Lucie’s hair. “I swear Lucie the next time him and I—”.

Lucie could see Jake visibly stiffen, she could feel his confusion.“My Love is there is a box of hair dye behind you?”

“Mr. I See All”.

Shit…that— Lucie herself stiffens at the mention of the hair dye, suddenly finds herself combing through various insecurities in her head. Was she right— did Jake also hate her grey hair?, did he want her to keep the grey?

“Options”, Lucie lies with a smile on her face.“Just wanted to have just in case”.

Her husband green eyes zeroed in on her, but luckily he drops it.“okay darlin”. Maybe she should dye it, Jake doesn’t deserve someone like her on his arm.

“I know my opinion wasn’t asked for, but I love your grey hair”. You gotta be fucking kidding me. Wait a minute—

“Really?”

“Of course, darlin—how could I not?”

Thank god, that means Lucie doesn’t have use her hair dye— also means that she just wasted 15 dollars.

“Wow”, she doesn’t mean for that slip— but then again maybe this conversation is something they need have. She’s getting it over with.

“What Lucie?”Jake so gentle with her— he’s not getting angry by the minute. Lucie bites her lower lips in attempts to calm herself down. Great…now shes crying.

“Sugar, I’m so sorry I made you doubt yourself”, She hates whenever his eyes get so damn puppy like. He’s used it so many times to get out of trouble with her. EX:Between me and you darlin I purposefully pushed to mach 10”.

“It’s….It’s not your fault—”, Lucie starts again, her ex-husband words echoing in her ear.“Ducky, Ducky—me and you both your not pretty anymore”.

Jake’s fingers are underneath her chin, her eyes are rimming with tears.“Yes it is— I should’ve made sure my wife knew how much I was in love with her”. His arms wrapped around her waist— his fingers interlocked together. Never letting her go.

“I looked so much better in my prime Jake— I looked so good twenty years ago”. Lucie spits out her mouth-as if she just tasted something distasteful.

“Blasphemy” Jake’s shaking his head, and pulls from Lucie him— having the need to make sure his hardheaded wife listens to him.

“Jake—”. A strong hands strokes her face, dissuading Lucie from saying more hurtful words.

“Lucie, Lucie—darlin I know you outrank me by alot but listen to me right now”. He standing infront of her with a slight frown on his face. “I love every physical & emotional trait about you from your grey hair to the stretch marks from carrying our son to how you switch between Lucie to Admiral Seresin or how you always smile when you see a bird in the air”.

God her husband could’ve been a poet. She practically throws herself into Jake arms— clinging onto him for dear life. “You mean that Jake?”.

“Of course I mean that darlin, I’ll love you till the day I die”. She hates when Jake pulls her out of his arms again. “Darlin the dye must go”.

He walks over to the bathroom counter—“Would you like to do the honors Lucie?”

“Sure Lieutenant”, She replied with a small smile on her face, Lucie picked up the hair dye box and without hesitation threw it away.

“Need make sure you understand how much I love you twenty years later”, Jake stands behind her.

“Come show me Seresin”, he has his hands tightly wrapped around waist.

“I will Seresin”.

“What’s gotten into Jaskier?” Geralt asked. The first mate gave him a bewildered look, as if he should already know the answer to such a stupid question, and shook his head before replying. 

“One can never be sure; usually it’s you.”

“He seems even more energetic than usual and everyone keeps complimenting him,” the Captain observed, ignoring Eskel’s innuendo entirely. “Is he sick or something?”

“No,” Eskel shrugged. He crossed his arms over his chest and nudged Geralt with his shoulder. “Are you going to meet us at the tavern tonight? They’re having some kind of special performance and Jaskier wants to see it.”

“I suppose. I need to finish counting out the shares from that Redanian galley we took last week.”

“You’d better show up and you’d better not be too late,” the first mate warned. “I’ll see you later, Captain.”

As Geralt made his way into the boatswain’s small compartment to finish counting out and recording the shares, Jaskier exited their cabin and headed for the gangplank. The younger man was dressed in his finest peacock-blue linen breeches and a white shirt with puffy sleeves and cinched wrists. He’d swept his hair out of his face and secured it with an emerald green silk bandanna; a peacock indeed. He looked elegant and very, very soft; Geralt wanted to slide his hands beneath that shirt and feel the silken skin hidden there but he had other things to do first. 

“Aren’t you coming to the tavern with us, Captain?” Jaskier called.

The White Wolf nodded, “Aye. I just have to finish counting out the shares so the crew can spend their money properly tomorrow.”

“Don’t be too long,” his little siren said. “Or you’ll miss all the fun. It’s a very special day after all.”

“Aye, that it is.” 

The younger man smiled brightly before dancing his way down the plank and onto solid land. Geralt hurried to finish his task; he didn’t want to miss the opportunity for some personal time with his darling siren of a wife.

By the time Geralt finished counting out the last of the shares from their latest prize and made his way to the tavern, Jaskier was already well past tipsy. The brunette man was laughing brightly, his cheeks tinted a vibrant pink as he sat atop the bar with a tin mug of bad wine clutched in his hand. Starkey was sitting on the stool to his left and Lambert had the one to his right. They both gave him odd looks when he caught their eyes.

“Geralt!” Jaskier cheered as he waved the Captain towards his apparent seat of honor. The pirate noted with much amusement that the lad had removed his shoes and stockings and rolled his breeches up over his knees. The laces of his shirt were also loose and the material had been pulled aside to reveal the expanse of his flushed chest.

“Nymph,” the Captain greeted, butting their foreheads together gently. His hands slid into place against his wife’s slender hips. Jaskier hooked his bare calves and ankles around Geralt’s lower back and used his strong legs to yank him forward. The siren was fit and his legs kept the Captain’s abdomen pressed tightly against the edge of the bar. “Feeling confident tonight, are we?”

“The crew and these lovely strangers keep buying me drinks,” Jaskier tittered. “Because it’s my birthday today.”

“It is?” Geralt panicked. He hadn’t even thought to ask and here Jaskier was, staring up at him with those devastatingly blue eyes, expecting something from his husband on his special day. The Captain wasn’t prepared in the slightest. “I didn’t know. I haven’t gotten you anything.”

“Oh Captain,” the ex-noble pouted, sticking out his bottom lip attractively. “How very rude of you to have forgotten. You’ll just have to make it up to me.” “How do I do that, little wife?”

Geralt ignored the strange looks from neighboring patrons when he addressed Jaskier that way; he knew how much those words made the younger man light up with joy and pride. The noble was doing it now, puffing out his chest and twining his arms around Geralt’s neck possessively. His lips brushed against his husband’s teasingly as he spoke, “Oh, I’m sure we can think of a way.”

“Bartender,” Geralt called, smirking. “Another round for the house.”

Relationships are terrifying

So full disclosure, a year and a half ago, I met a girl who opened up my heart to the thought of loving someone again, after my my wife left me and my son past away I was perfectly happy to just never love anything or anyone again and wait for myself to die.

I met this lady at karaoke, I’m a regular at karaoke so I usually try and talk to anyone that sings or just people who look like they could use a chat, so I sat down with her and started talking like you do, she seemed super friendly she mentioned she had 4 kids, so I was happy because I like kids and I also like when parents can get out when they have kids. I added her on facebook and found out she was married, of course too good to be true.

Another night rolls around and her and her friends come to karaoke, just to be friendly I go sit with them, not thinking anything but hey these ladies seem like a nice group, let’s be chatty. I get her and her friends numbers they were all in relationships, I just figured it’s nice to be asked for you number, then I chat to her on facebook, on October 21th telling her “Hi best friend!”. So it became a regular thing we’d meet at karaoke, I was worried about being her friend since being raised in a religion where girls and guys don’t hang out with just girls alone but she came over one night for our first ever hang out alone at my house Dec 19th I believe because she knew it was my son’s bday? maybe not sure, but we made cookies and she was dressed in a penguin onesie. and it was one of my favourite memories I even wrote a stoey called “the magical christmas penguin” I really felt like we were great friends and how I was so happy that I hadn’t said no to be proper.

Fast forward to her new years party, I drank a very lot of drinks that night and I don’t remember much besides her walking me home and being drunk I confessed that I liked her more than I should, I thought about kissing her, not for the last time.

Fast forward to summer and walks, we’d meet for walks since we are neighbours and I love to go for walks for coffee since timmies is close, on the way back from one of our walks, I put my hand out like I was holding something and said, “can you hold this for a second” she was like sure, and then I just held her hand, and she didn’t let go until we were out where people could see us, but her hand felt so right in mine, that only happened once on our walks and never became a regular thing.

She actually became very distant for awhile we’d been saying I love you to each other off and on but she later told me she felt bad for keeping me from moving on like she was trapping me in a wait that she had no idea when she’d leave her husband, she did ask me if I’d want to move in with her if she got the house after they broke up so I wasn’t just imagining she liked me, even though I secretly feared that before she had said that.

Fast Forward again to a night I was hosting karaoke, she came with her friend and then was later joined by her husband, she’d been distant so I figured maybe she had patched things up with him, I hugged her at the end of the night like friends do, she texted me saying I smelled good and she was glad I had hugged her even though her jerkface husband was there. so we started talking again more like before.

Fast forward to this december, her husband goes away and she comes over to watch hockey, I spend all night working up the nerve to hold her hand I finally do and my heart is beating so hard I can’t believe my ribs are holding it in. she comes over the next night of that weekend and we watch shows, and she leans in front of me and BAM our first kiss... I felt like I should have only ever kissed her lips, and every other kiss was wrong... I had thought of kissing her many many times before, but we didn’t want to do that even though we both loved each other, so over a year of holding ourselves back.

The following weekend her husband was away again, that weekend we went all the way, I foolishly thought we’d stay being able to do that regularly but when her husband was in town she wouldn’t come over, so that was hard to take, because going backwards is not something that usually works for relationships, but I adjusted.

March 8th she left her husband, international women’s day, A day meant to empower women, she leaves her jerk of a husband, this is the 3rd time she’s left him in their 17 year marriage, she actually moved out to her neighbour’s house to get away from his manipulating jerk face.

Now don’t get me wrong, I believe men and women are equal and he has rights and all that, but she is the more involved parent and does more for the kids than he ever will, He should be the one to move out in that case, but he will not, and I think that’s bullshit, because it’s harder on the kids and that’s what’s important. she’s looking to get a place now and he’s just sitting in their place being an ass. I get that it’s hard to lose an amazing wife like her who works two jobs and still does all the house work while he does one job and then nothing at home, and waste money on forges and hottubs and all sorts of other stuff.

When my ex left me and admitted to cheating with everyone ever I still offered her my house, of course I wanted main custody of our son, I did everything in my power to make things easier for her. maybe I’m a fool but I’d rather be able to look back on my actions and say I did what was best for our son and than look back and say I won haha.

so that’s my story on learning to love again, even though I never meant to, I haven’t seen her since the separation went down, and she’s really struggling to manage, I wish she’d come over and let me hug her, but I know she’s going to need space and time and everything for awhile, and we might not even be together after all this, I’m ok with that as longas she can be happy and show her boys a good life and that they need to treat their girlfriends properly.

Christina Anstead is stressing the importance of listening to your body after she was forced to go back to bed rest for taking on too much too soon following the birth of her son.

On Tuesday, Christina, 36, revealed she began to feel weak after throwing her daughter Taylor’s 9th birthday party over the weekend.

“Welll… I’m a moron,” Anstead wrote alongside a selfie of herself holding baby Hudson London, whom she welcomed with husband Ant Anstead on Sept. 6.

“I felt totally fine since one week postpartum — like zero pain… but I was resting and taking it easy… and then I threw Tay a bday party and was lifting and running around all weekend… and yesterday I woke up like oh crap… and today oh crap turned into oh s—. I definitely hurt myself,” the Flip or Flop star continued.

“It’s not the c-section incision area that hurts it’s my left abdomen and it hurts bad ;/.”

Christina went on to urge “anyone who had a baby — don’t overdo it.”

“I always want to be the people pleaser in the family and make sure everyone knows how much I care about them — but in doing so I wasn’t taking care of myself.”

“Back to bed rest and baby cuddles,” Christina added.

Ahead of Taylor’s birthday festivities, Christina shared that she had her reservations about taking on such a big undertaking so soon after having a child.

“I’m definitely crazy and this proves it because we have a 2-week-old and I told Taylor I would throw her a 9th birthday party,” the reality star shared on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, adding that her daughter’s entire “third grade class” was coming over for the slime pool party.

Fortunately, everything turned out just fine — and it was a family affair.

Anstead and her ex Tarek El Moussa reunited to celebrate Taylor’s big day. The former couple are also parents to son Brayden.

“We had the best time at Taylor’s 9th birthday party at her moms today!!” El Moussa, 38, wrote on Instagram, alongside a shot of him, his girlfriend Heather Rae Young, and Taylor at the backyard pool party.

I'm 18 and just recently passed my driving test. Problem is, my Dad wants to put me down as a second driver on his car but it's a BMW sport with a 2L engine. I'm wondering something about car insurance. I am a 17 year old male, (turning 18 in 1 month) and have been driving a 2001 Hyundai accent since October. I am insured with esurance, and have liability only. I have a clean driving record. My monthly insurance is $197. I am on my parents policy. When I first called to get a quote, (cheapest company for me) it was around 120 a month, but then they got the VIN number and of course it went up because it knew exactly what car it was. As the title states, I am wondering if I am eligible to stay on my parent's health insurance (we live in New Jersey and my dad gets the family insurance through his job in Delaware). I am 23 years old, not in school, and my job offers health insurance. I have read that the law allows children under the age of 27 to remain on their parent's health insurance UNLESS the kid's job offers health insurance. As I stated, mine does offer it. HOWEVER, an older coworker of mine told me that her children were able to stay on the family health insurance until age 27 even though the kids' work offered insurance because the cost of the insurance at the child's job was over $25 per week. The cheapest policy at my job will cost me just over $30 per week. Unfortunately, I have not found any trace of this $25 rule anywhere online. Is this a true policy?
