Sabías que, hoy cumple 58 años el guitarrista norteamericano Tom Morello, nacido en Harlem (Nueva York), ganador de un Grammy y conocido por su pertenencia a las bandas Rage Against the Machine y Audioslave. Con la primera, formada en 1991, publicó hasta el 2000 cuatro álbumes con temas como 'Killing in the name' (1992), 'Bulls on Parade' (1996) y 'Guerrilla radio' (1999). A continuación formó con Chris Cornell (ex-Soundgarden) el grupo Audioslave con los que publicó tres álbumes con temas de éxito como 'Like a stone' (2003), 'Be yourself' y 'Doesn't remind me' (2005). Desde 2003 aparece en ocasiones como The Nightwatchman en shows acústicos en solitario, en los que da rienda suelta a sus pensamientos políticos. En 2006 fundó nuevo grupo de rap-metal, Street Sweeper Social Club, junto a Boots Riley y en 2007 volvió a tocar con Rage Against the Machine. Entre 2008 y 2015 formó parte de la E Street Band de Bruce Springsteen, en sustitución de Steve Van Zandt, ocupado en el rodaje de la serie de TV noruega Lilyhammer. Su guitarra aparece asimismo en ocho de los once temas que contiene el álbum de Springsteen, ‘High Hopes’, aparecido en enero de 2014 y comparte con el boss la voz solista en la canción que dio título al álbum. En 2016 fue cofundador de la banda de rap rock Prophets of Rage cuyo álbum debut apareció en septiembre de 2017. En octubre de 2018 publicó el primer álbum con su nombre: ‘The Atlas Underground’.
