More kitties are stars.

I posted elsewhere but in a failed attempt to draw something else I saw left kitties face in the grain of the paper and fleshed him out. Unfortunately it was smack in the middle of the sketchbook crease so I had a lot of fun trying to erase that crease after scanning it in. I had some footage for a youtube video but it appears some of it is missing...I apparently didn't film all that I thought...but I'll probably still upload to youtube later anway..?

otherwise I woke up feeling extra puny yesterday starting the night before. I don't know what that was. I feel much better today. My cherry tomatoes are all turning red. I had to pick some of them, waiting for the others to finish their journeys before I pick them and hoping the other ones don't go bad in the fridge. My plan is just to roast them.

I also bought horizon zero dawn and have been playing it. I just never got the chance to play that one back in the day. I'm vaguely enjoying it.

but I've also been distracted by Stranger Things. I wasn't going to watch this season because I'd lost interest but I kept seeing the internet say the 4th episode is the best tv show episode to ever be filmed so I needed to see why. Maybe if I hadn't been hyped up by all the hype I would have been more enthralled. Not that I am not enjoying this season because I actually am..I just don't see it as screaming and bawling like people are saying. But I am really enjoying the Steve and co parts of the season. Screw the other 2 teams, I don't care about them.

[Gouache] 수이과슈 12색 프리뷰 (Sui Gouache 12 colors Preview) . 🎨 사용재료 : 수이과슈12색(7mlx12colors), 캔손 아쿠아렐 수채화용지 300g(23x31cm), 바바라 80r-s no.8, 바바라 20R no.0, 실버화이트1503s no.4 🎨 Materials : Sui gouache 12colors(7mlx12colors), CANSON Aquarelle Grain fin 300g(23x31cm), Babara 80r-s no.8, Babara 20R no.0, Silverwhite1503s no.4 . 오늘은 수이과슈 리뷰를 해볼게요. 수이과슈는 일러스트레이터 수이작가님이 만든 물감이예요. 인스타그램의 피드에서 보이는 감성 그대로 패키지 디자인이 정말 예쁘죠. 15ml는 패키지가 귀여운 핑크색이고 이름표로 색을 구분하게 되어있어요. 엽서도 여러 장 들어있는데 그 중 각 색들에 다른 색을 섞어 여러 색을 만들어보는 안내장이 있어요. 색 만들기가 고민이신 분들이 참고하시면 좋을 것 같아요. 직접 발색해볼 수 있는 종이와 일러스트 스케치가 그려진 도안지도 같이 들어있어요. 수채과슈는 수채화와 비슷한 질감과 사용감을 가졌지만 불투명한 표현을 만든다는 점이 달라요. 그래서 색이 전체적으로 뮤트한 느낌의 구성이었어요. 아무래도 불투명한 재료다보니 이미 흰색이 섞여서 제작이 되어 그런 것 같아요. 많이 흐르지 않고 적당히 끈적이는 농도를 가졌어요. 마르면 약간의 크랙이 생기니 짜고 바로 사용하시는게 가장 좋아요. 굳은 뒤에는 물을 많이 섞어 희석해 쓰게되니 원래의 색감이 약해보일 수 있어요. 이 부분은 과슈 뿐만 아니라 대부분의 물감이 가진 특징이죠. 하나씩 발색해보니 확실히 레드보다는 로지가 불투명이 강해서 얼룩이 덜 생겨요. 특히 베이비옐로우(BABY YELLOW)와 램스이어(lambs ear)는 굉장히 화사한 파스텔 계열이라 저처럼 피부색을 만드는 경우에 유용하겠더라고요. 다만 다른 색으로 조합할 경우 옐로우색이 강하지 않아서 오렌지와 섞어서 사용해야할 것 같아요. 그리고 과슈는 여러 색을 너무 많이 섞으면 탁해지기 때문에 2~3가지 색으로 조합하는 것을 추천합니다. 이번에 사용한 수이과슈는 패키지 만큼 색도 너무 예뻤어요. 아무래도 과슈가 가진 특성 중 탁해지는 부분을 고려하셔서 아예 조색을 해서 제작된 것 같아요. 그래서 소량의 조합으로도 원하는 피부색을 만들기 쉽더라고요. 그리고 마른 뒤에도 색이 많이 어두워지거나 다른색으로 변색되지 않는다는 점도 장점이었어요. 은폐력이 높고 차분한 색이 매력적인 수이작가님의 수이과슈 한 번 써보시길 추천합니다. . 세상의 모든 그림_세모림. .
