Okay so since Lovestruck and Voltage USA as a whole have been turned to dust, I have decided to make the decision to completely rebrand one of their old series. I've seen a lot of people rewrite and redesign some of the series but I'm going the step ahead by rebranding an entire series. This mean that
1. The genre of said series will remain entirely the same but the setting, plot, and feel will be completely different.
2. The characters will remain mostly the same apart from some changes in design, personality, and even age. (No changes to gender or sexuality)
3. The title of said series with remain the same
A complete reboot and a fresh new start. Plus, voltage usa never really copyrighted anything (trust me I looked) and are basically non-existent so they won't be able to anything lol. And the series I am thinking of rebooting is......
SWEET ENCHANTMENTS! (yayyyyyyy)
I figured since the original was pretty problematic even when voltage tried to cover up rework their writing. And trust me when I will be turning it into a whole new thing while keeping most things still the same.
Not my best, as it’s a bit tricky to find pictures that fit her energy. Not so easy to curate an aesthetic for someone who works front of house in a food establishment and hasn’t developed a deep disdain for the general public.
You pump out these updates so fast! It's really impressive, but I hope you're doing okay!
I also wanted to ask, considering I found out about Love and Legends (and Lovestruck by extension) like, a week ago: what was the original app like? How many routes were there? Which one's your favorite, and why is it Helena? (/j)
Sorry if these are weird questions, I'm just really interested and curious about this project!
First of all, welcome to Lovestruck! I'm glad that more people are finding and experiencing Lovesruck despite the game being dead for almost 2 years at this point.
Anyway, Lovestruck was probably the most unique visual novel app I have ever played not only because of the app's unique artstyle and charm but also the huge amount of LGBTQ+ representation the app has included during it's run. The stories are played out differently compared to other VN apps as well where the story is completely different depending on the route you choose.
Now I'm not 100% sure how many routes Lovestruck included but I think it's over 70+ routes across 19 different series and you can choose to romance male, female and non-binary characters.
As for my favorite routes, obviously one of them is Helena because the writing for her route is incredible, but some of my other favourite routes in no particular order includes Juliette from Villainous Nights, Xenia from Reigning Passions, Emeril from Sweet Enchantments, Medusa from Astoria Fate's Kiss, Vivienne from Queen of Thieves and Vanessa from Havenfall. There is a few other routes that I enjoy other than the ones that I mentioned, but I'm going to be here forever listing all of them!
If you want to check out some of these routes for yourself, then I strongly recommend checking out the LS Salvation Squad YouTube Channel as they have recordings of every route from the Lovestruck app. Watching a recording of someone playing the game is not the same as actually playing the game for yourself but it's the closest thing we have right now to actually experiencing the app.
I am making three or four video edits of Sweet Enchantment Love interests with using Gryffin, Illenium - Feel Good ft. Daya. The Format will be Female/Male LI which is easier for me so therefore three parts or four if these videos do well. The next video will be Liora/Zain (Part 2) then Emeril/Roman (Part 3).
The magical world exists in spaces alongside the human realm. These spaces are much bigger on the inside, and traveling between them requires crossing through the human world. Emeril explains using an apron/pocket analogy, wherein the apron is the human world and its pockets are the magical world.
The magical world is full of magicians. Magical specialties sometimes run in the family; other times they're random. Magicians can be born to have a specific type of magic. These are charm, luck, memory, emotions, light, dark, transfiguration, glamour and plant. Each magic type has a corresponding sigil for it.
Charm Magic
Charms make an object or person want to please the spell caster; for example, Runa's turnips are compelled to want to help her, and the desire makes them come to life in order to lend their help.
Luck Magic
Luck magic increases the luck of the user or whoever the spell is cast on. Lucien gives the heroine a minor demonstration in his first season by casting a luck-boosting enchantment on her and then challenging her to a game of cards: each of them draws one card, high card wins. When she pulls the higher card on their first draw, he adds the further rule that her points will double each time she pulls a card that's in sequence with her last draw. Despite the heroine shuffling the deck twice, every card she draws after that is exactly one higher than her last card.
Mood Magic
Mood magic can change the emotions of other people. Emeril describes it as seeing and changing colors.
Memory Magic
Memory magicians manipulate memories of others. They can amplify good memories, soften bad ones, and can also remove memories altogether.
Plant Magic
Plant magicians are able to manipulate plants and flora. They are also able to speed up and slow their growth as well as bring any plant back to life.
Sight | Glamour Magic
Sight magic and can create illusions of things that aren't really there. Magicians with glamour magic can make existing objects to look like something else. Because it only gives the appearance of looking like something else, when touched you can still feel the original object. The caster can see through the spell at will, and the more complex the glamour, the higher the chance it will fail.
Transfiguration Magic
Transfiguration magicains can transfigure almost anything, but whole duplicates never last very long. For example they can transform a rope into a real ladder, but not forever.
Light Magic
Light Magic is one of the most powerful and well respected magic in Sweet Enchantments. Light Magicians specializes in healing, barriers, and wards. Very powerful light magicains are able to mask their presence from other magical beings and radars.
Dark Magic
Dark magic revolves around curses, harmful enchantments placed upon others. It can also be used to counteract and mitigate curses cast by others, which is how Zain employs his talent for dark magic on behalf of the cafe's customers, but others with the same power are not so scrupulous. Within magician society, dark magicians are regarded with deep suspicion, with many assumptions and unfounded rumors about them. In Zain's second season, he tells the heroine that parents sometimes abandon children if they have dark magic due to the fear and prejudice surrounding them, contributing to a vicious cycle as those abandoned lash out against the society that rejected them.
Magician Eyes
A magician's eyes have a unique pattern in the iris. Lucien has a pentagram, Runa has a lotus blossom, Zain has a four-pointed star, Roman has a multi-ringed pattern, Liora has three spirals, and Emeril has four swooping lines like the petals of a flower. Magicians aren't human, some just look more like it than others, as Runa puts it.
Magician Sigils
In Sweet Enchantments, verbal spells are a bit of a myth and nowadays incantations are only used in very complex spells with many different components. Instead, Sweet Enchantment magicains use sigils to cast spells which are drawn in the air with their finger. They can also use their sigil to make calls to other magicians. If someone gets a call, their sigil will light up in the air next to them, and they can accept or decline the call. Normally some identifying mark, such as the caller's face, will show on the receiver's sigil like caller ID.
The Sound of Magic
Each magician's magic is described as producing a particular sound, usually musical. Lucien's is a woodwind hum, Runa's is brassy and trumpeting, Liora's is harp strings, and Zain's is bass piano. Kamila's is a soprano choir and Merik's is a chitter like insect wings.
Scrolls
Scrolls are magical items that allows anyone to use magic of any type, useful for those trying to use magic outside their specialty. They are said to be finiky and is needed to be read carefully before performing the magic. A single scroll can only be used once.
Potions
Are substances made from magical ingredients. A particular potion, Stardust, is made from a plant called Illucium Bundle and is very expensive.
Rings
There are rings that allow its wearer to enhance or limit the amount of magic they can use.

Zain first suspected Runa and Emeril were dating when he didn’t decorate the froth on Emeril’s hot chocolate. Tired after a shift, he simply put the plain (but still delicious) hot chocolate on the counter. Before anybody could even correct him Runa was there, all scowls and sharp tongue. A sloppily drawn heart later, Emeril came bounding in, a spring in her step and a smile on her face. Upon seeing the heart, she cooed, bashfully thanking a shockingly even more bashful Runa for her efforts. It seemed only Zain questioned how Emeril knew it was Runa, but the entire crew were merciful enough to let Runa’s blush go unmentioned.
Lucien’s suspicions were a more gradual build. Numerous occasions of butting heads with Runa over the white chocolate and raspberry scones. Somehow, without fail, Runa would manage to hijack one in the morning, often with a single line, an excuse which always involved Emeril. It wasn’t until he saw Emeril laughing one morning, nibbling on his creation as Runa leaned against the hostess podium that it clicked.
Roman noticed after one too many requests for a quick supper. The first time Emeril shyly asked, it was cute. The fact she seemed so keen for it to be a nice, romantic picnic was kind of sweet. The second time, a similar story, save her requests changed. By the ninth or tenth, Roman recognized many of the foods were geared towards Runa’s tastes… and that Runa always seemed to vanish on those same days.
Liora caught on once she saw Emeril’s little siblings rush to Runa, all bright smiles and wide, innocent eyes as they pleaded for a story. She remained silent as Runa relented, her own lips twitched a little too much into a smile to be anything but thrilled by the attention. The familiarity didn’t end there. Emeril’s mother also seemed fond of Runa, expressing what a wonderful young lady Runa could be. The wear on many of the books was also not lost upon Liora, who silently approved of the unusual combination.
Nysa figured it out when some customers began yelling at Emeril. As if drawn by magnets, Runa descended like the most unholy of storms, eyes flashing with lightning as her sharp tongue played the thunder. By the time Runa had finished, the customers had all but fled, profusely apologizing to an awestruck Emeril. From that day, it became an unspoken rule. Do not mess with Emeril, less you earn the ire of the fieriest waitress to step foot into Sweets.
Sometimes, one could find Runa laying quietly across Emeril’s lap, seemingly enchanted by the younger girl’s sweet voice as she read out every mystery novel to the jaded waitress. The smitten expressions across Runa’s face were second only to the way Emeril’s fingers casually carded through pink hair as she stroked Runa’s head. There, Dante too slumbered, curled in Runa’s arms, across her chest. Runa was sharp-minded, able to pick out the little details and suspects with ease. Halfway through, she usually had predicted how it would end correctly. Of course, she never said that out loud. Instead, she lay there, pretending to guess wrong to lure out all the giggles and playful shushes. She never had the heart to disclose that she’d been raised by elitist, social-climbing bigots, so of course, she’d been forced to read all the classics. How could she let this beautiful woman know that her passion had once been forced upon Runa? So, she continued to guess wrong, interrupting with playful little barbs and a deviously innocent expression.
Emeril gave herself away during dinner. When her excitement at seeing Runa became so infectious that her magic began to leak, leading the dining room to erupt into laughter and song. Only, nobody could agree upon the song. The chaos was immediate, a crescendo worthy of the novels Emeril loved. Song, joy and laughter so potent tears flowed from every eye.
Runa gave herself away in her little things, her gentle affections and things only Emeril could get away with. Eventually, she committed herself, and gave herself away by kneeling in the middle of dinner service, where she produced a gorgeous ring with little gems the color of lavender, forming Runa’s sigil, with a central stone the precise hue of Runa’s eyes in the center. It was with a bright smile which Runa gave herself away, asking the biggest question of her life.
“Marry me?”
