🟢Windswept ~ A Witch Cottage🟢Simblreen Gift🟢TS4🟢

Windswept is a Simblreen Gift for all of you! I started this build on October 11th & finished it October 20th when I sent it to Bodaccia for testing. I started working on finding all the links (that I was able to find) Saturday, the 21st. Let me tell you that there are over 900 pieces of cc (and several of their swatches!) in this build… I think I’ve been dreaming about missing texture files, links, Google, & Wayback Machine every night when I finally went to bed, LOL. Bodaccia informed me of some things that needed changing, & I worked on those over Wednesday & Thursday & finished them all on Friday when I sent it back to Bodaccia for “emergency” testing. While she was doing that, I was finishing up the links & taking pictures. I think the only time I’ve worked harder & faster was when I was participating in DOTY. It is now about 4 pm on Saturday, October 28th, & I just need the Tumblr to work…

This build came about as a wish from my youngest son, Ben. He wanted a fantastical Witch Cottage to play in, & we both thought that all of you might enjoy it, too. Windswept is based on real-life architectural plans & my imagination. As many of us adults, he has loved The Sims since the beginning. In fact, both my sons (Travis is my oldest) were responsible for getting me into this game. Without my sons’ interest in this game, my love of building, landscaping, & decorating in The Sims would not have happened. Thank you, my Loves, for your push.

You can always help creators and various member by liking, rebloging and tagging posts. It is how Tumblr works after all ;)

The Simblr is more keen on images, so never hesitate to share your screenshots, edited or not, and to give credit. Creators like to see their work somewhere else than in their game.

Comments and messages are always welcome, you don't need to wonder if it's ok or not. It would brighten the day of anyone.

And yes, donations are cool too. Even more when it is only on donation mode. It is seen as a big cheer, whatever the creator did, it was good enough, worthy enough to be given money.

Sim Pearls

I feel I must say something regarding the recent events at Sim Pearls Forum.

Firstly, I have the utmost respect for both szanne7000 and 13pumpkin31 and I will most certainly always treasure both friendships. I will never take sides, but I feel that I must defend szanne7000 in regards to her character.

While I don't know all the details of what transpired between both parties, I don't like the sledging going on of szanne7000. I can emphatically state that she would never use Tumblr, Instagram or any other platform to speak badly of anyone.

Suzanne was so excited about this Advent Calendar, which she painstakingly invited designers to take part in, purely for Members of the Sim Pearls Forum and I might add, these designers all accepted willingly because of her huge heart and friendly nature. This has nothing to do with money, it's a gesture that has taken a huge amount of organising, time and effort, never once did I hear a word of complaint from Suzanne even when she was working through until 4 am to get the job done.

I know there was a comment made regarding one of the designers gift's and Suzanne acted as any forum owner would do, after all, she had invited these guests to the forum. Put in her place, I'm sure most would do the same thing.

Suzanne with the help of her brother are not only keeping the forum open, but are trying to make this a nice relaxing and friendly place to visit and I for one, certainly feel welcome.

I don't really celebrate Christmas, but I think it's that time of the year to reflect and be kind to each other ❤️

Most of you know the site, where we came from and what it stood for. It started with Reflex Sims and then it became Black Pearl Sims (BPS) then finally, SimPearls. We were a File Share Friendly community against paid sites! Our beloved site has always been a safe haven for our members, share CC, join contests and be with friends...Until now! The site has changed hands and the site that was so loved, has become a nightmare! Advent has always been such a wonderful time. Resident Designers and members sharing gifts...but this year, under new Admins, it became anything but Holly or Jolly! szanne7000 (Admin) decided she wanted to bring in Patreon designers...give them the spotlight and kick the RD and members gifts to the side. Advent Day 1, @deatherella and I were mentioned at the bottom of the Advent post...and links (at that time) went nowhere. I messaged szanne7000 and told her I was confused as to what happened with Advent, why we were not included. I sent her several messages about how wrong it all was, that she invited Patreon and DOXXERS into the site that has always been against it...She would not listen! Other Designers and members started speaking up and she still would not listen! She supports ALL of these Patreon creators she has invited! She never once talked to us RD or Staff about her plans...she went rogue! I stepped down as a member of Staff and demanded that my Resident Designer section be deleted! I, in no way, would ever want anyone to ever believe I had anything to do with what has happened! I am disgusted with what has happened and what is continuing to happen! SimPearls is loosing more staff, designers and members because of this! A beloved member, Designer, had her entire existence deleted from the site...like she was never there. Everything! Years of posts, CC, contests...EVERYTHING! Just gone! In short...I will not support a site that is run like this, under the rule of a tyrant! I will not be a part of the destruction of what once was a beautiful site formally known as SimPearls!

TS4: On the rocks by Szanne7000

On The Rocks was inspired by Amey Kandalgaonkar’s epic concept of House Inside A Rock. On The Rocks consists of four levels, although only the first level is at ground height. The other floors are high atop a huge rock grouping with expansive views and tons of privacy! While the build is Brutalist in its architecture, the design is a fusion of Asian and Modern styles. Indulge in the Zen atmosphere infusing both the interior and exterior spaces. There are only two bedrooms but there are entertainment areas aplenty (and 4.5 bathrooms)
