Here's a Sakyo. I not only like him, I'm mentally ill about him. In 2016, he was my favourite character, and now, 6 years later, he's still my favourite character lmao. He's part of the reason I got back into beyblade, the other being beyblade was simply just airing again on tv.

one hc that I thought of recently was that sakyo thinks piercings are super cool and wants to get a ton but he can’t because of ballet. sometimes when they’re out shopping, takanosuke will catch him looking longingly at body jewelry displays

he looks at th jewelry like a sad wet cat

!!! takanosuke catches onto this and works to find clip-ons and tries to make some himself !! it goes silly at first but they make matching clip-on jewelry together :]

- sakyo is a living heater. whenever it’s cold taka snuggles up to him for warmth 😋

- takanosuke is wasian and was born in the united states. he later moved to japan when he was a kid but still remembers america a lot. he promises to take sakyo there sometime and visit the other half of his family :)

- on the contrary sakyo takes taka often to visit the ancestral grounds of the dragon clan. he isn’t too familiar with that part of his culture but he wants to learn more and is attempting to reconnect the best he can alongside dragoon

- speaking of, sakyo is friends with ryuto, and was mentored for some time by him when he first started blading. ryuto told stories of ryuga and his limited knowledge of the dragon clan but he feels bad he can’t tell him more due to most of the knowledge he possesses are legends or old stories murked by time.

- i like to imagine anime sakyo secretly has a hobby for dancing that he violently keeps secret. he always liked dancing as a kid and wishes he could have spent more time on it. he and takanosuke sometimes practice together as a way to bond <3

- takanosuke really likes 2010s american pop songs. i am a strong believer in this it’s like a guilty pleasure for him. every night he listens to california gurls by katy perry and sakyo has unwillingly memorized the lyrics to it by proxy

So I think I have an idea of who should take out Ryuto in the Bey tournament I have him in, one of 100 other bladers. Synchrome beys are allowed as long as they were made before the match. Throwing them in while the battle in still in play, like the anime does, counts as cheating, and this will be disqualified. I got Takanosuke, Sakyo, and Chris in this Tournament as well. So would you rather Sakyo, Archer Dragoon, or Chris to take out Ryuto?
