I made a super delicious roasted vegetable sandwich and oh my gOD so yummy! today is a nice day.

#how to make: #cut up like 2/3 of a red pepper into thick strips #cut one full zucchini up into like half a centimeter thick slices length wise #and half a medium white onion #then put a whole bulb of garlic with the top chopped off into some aluminum foil #cover all of this with olive oil and a crack of salt #NO PEPPER #DO NOT ROAST PEPPER #IT IS AN AROMATIC #AND IT WILL JUST BURN #AND GET BITTER #NEVER ROAST PEPPER #into the over at like 375 #roast the veggies for 10-15 minutes #take out the veggies #place aside #let the garlic keep roasting another 10-15 #take some bread #i have some mini whole wheat sourdough bun things #i didn't toast the bread instead i put olive oil in my cast iron and let it toast like that for a couple minutes #on the bread #you're gonna wanna spread #hummus and harissa on one side #on the other #pop out a few pieces of garlic #spread it #and i added some olive tapenade cause i had some on top of that #AND HOLY SHIT #its perfect #a perfect vegetarian/vegan sandwich

because aki truly did care for her so much, he wanted her to be happy, he wanted her to be healthy and safe. there was so much pure fear on his face when he saw her lying in hell injured, he was terrified of something happening to her in the same way he's come to lose everyone. and when he looked after her because she was scared of the darkness devil, he was so understanding, so relieved when she finally wasn't scared anymore... sigh......

I think even though she doesn't know it power just really needed that sort of warmth, she needed aki's love and his guidance. he was a sense of peace she'd never experienced before.

Made some easy meat tomato sauce for dinner and mmmmm even though the tomato part was pre-done it was still so so good and satisfying. Look

#ghostly posts #food #I say 'easy' but it took me like two hours because I had to clean the counter and the stove and the pan and spatula for the sauce #and then chop garlic and onions (and then realize there are no more onions) and add mini sweet peppers #and then I dug around the potato drawer (weird) and found a shallot so I chopped that up. and I did it all super fine to avoid large chunks #in the sauce cause I'm picky abt that I guess #then you gotta cook the meat most of the way and then add the veggies and cook That for a while and then add the tomato sauce and cook and #season all that and make sure you can boil some moisture out of it without burning the sauce #anyway. there were a lot of steps but I simplified it a little by using pre made tomato sauce #my favorite kind = Newman's own organic marinara. my parents used to get it a lot growing up #so it's a bit comforting #takes me back to an era where I was really young. before I got really sensitive to tomatoes like I am now #(still made and ate this sauce because it's good)

I'M GETTING MY NIPPLES PIERCED THIS FRIDAY

Yesterday, while talking about my serving job, my office coworker said, “You ever feel like you’re in a Broadway show, like it’s just the same thing repeating night after night?” I said, “Absolutely. A couple of weeks ago a woman at one of my tables asked if I’m “in the theater” and I said no, and she was like, “oh, you just seem like you have that personality.” I don’t need to join the local theater, ma’am, I already act for a living at this job. You’re simply seeing through the cracks in my carefully crafted but summer-worn worksona. I said to my coworker, “I was just assigned theater kid by this woman,” and they said, “She probably clocked that you’re gay but she’s too straight to realize it so she was like, ‘She must…do theater.’”

Ok had an incredibly baffling experience today where I think someone/some org randomly gave our household food? Like vegetables/fruits and some pantry items??

I opened my door to get my delivery dinner (which was honestly. not very good at all 😭) and had a totally label-less nondescript white plastic bag sitting on top of an also mostly label-less sealed cardboard box of fruits and veggies... but like, who did this??? I didn't order anything lol and also one of my neighbors got the same thing... hello??!

I went to have mala tang at one of the roundabouts and she told me her daughter ran a thai restaurant near the museum... unfortunately it has risen out of my price range in the recent years so I will not check it out. menu looks delicious though
