That “you can’t stay here!” From Wyndia with that level of expressiveness on her face.. the force in her voice.. gave me chills, really a heartbreaking scene. But then finding out that it wasn’t Gaelion or her dad, but a new threat, the Dragon Emperor from Kizuna’s world was a wild twist.

They did justice to this entire episode, the sakuga during the fight scenes were amazing. The OST complimented the action very well too. The art quality and direction have improved so much thanks to the new team. Really a shame that second season was so bad which turned so many people off from the show. For those of us who are still watching, we’re eating good.

Has anyone actually read the Shield Hero light novel? Like, the whole thing? Because I want to catch up but Naofumi's inner dialogue is killing me and the writing style is a bit confusing to me.
If anyone has the time and is willing please feel free to give any and all spoilers!

Atla stans we are so here omg 😩 we feasted today. Awesome conclusion to the demon dragon emperor mini arc.

The demon dragon was no joke, even everyone combined was no match for it. Atla and Fohl’s combination completely changed the tide of battle. I’ve watched Atla’s attack sequence like 100x already and it doesn’t get old. Insane levels of sakuga and choreography in that moment. Truly living up to her name as Naofumi’s shield

We got to see the rest of Wyndia’s backstory as well which was nice. I love how even though she and her dad couldn’t directly communicate, they were still able to share their feelings with one another. She’s mourning the loss of her dad, but little does she know he’ll always be with her. Very nice ending for everyone involved

The Fallen Hero
Tumblr media
The betrayal of those who invoked him provokes an uncontrollable anger reflected in the weapon to which it is tied.
Inspired by Cabanel's painting: "The Fallen Angel"
