i'm gonna answer this question wrong on purpose. bc i cannot seem to generate a word to answer with rn instead i will do this: the word erosion specifically in terms of emotions makes me feral, or anything that plays off the idea of fire and warmth, and really just the thought of making emotions into these Tangible things that can be held and interacted with. any writing that does any form of that drives me up the wall like the idea that your feelings are these Things you have to live with and you can feel them exist both in and outside of your body is mental. and this is specific but i also love when non-tangible things are described as falling out of place, particularly composure or inhibitions, if that makes sense. maybe all of this shows in my own writing or maybe it doesn't but for the record my style of writing is just a really awkward mosaic of everything i've loved when i read
