"The Hollow 2023 Redux"

After 10 years I am restarting 'The Afterman Project' (as seen on my deviantart: https://www.deviantart.com/et7-13artstudio/gallery/46389716/the-afterman-project ), a series of drawings I did while reading The Afterman booklet from Coheed and Cambria's Claudio Sanchez for 'The Afterman Ascension' and 'The Afterman Descension'.

I've been trying to do this since 2017 when my art style started to take form, but since then it's changed a bit and my techniques have become a bit more polished.

Hopefully I'll have the next one 'Domino The Destitute' done by the end of the month!

hello checking in from my journey into coheed world! after in keeping secrets I've been going through albums chronologically from the beginning and so far my faves are in keeping, good apollo and black rainbow (which I just finished), and now I'm onto the afterman, which I'm sure with 3 albums to its name probably has an unlying story that i won't pick up on until I google it lol. I've been listening to it while I work and have just been unconsciously nodding my head to the beat for hours, impossible to resist. honestly thank you so much because this music. truly fucks.

also, since the post that got me to start listening was about you asking if we like men who sing like women, I was wondering if you'd ever listened to hail the sun? I caught them a few months ago when they opened for one of Anthony's bands (sound of animals fighting, which tbh I'm not a huge fan of their recorded albums but they were AMAZING live) and I think you'd like them, if you haven't listened to them yet. idk their music well enough to know which album is the best to start with lol but my personal favorite is Wake. bye back to coheed world 🚀

So so glad to hear that you're enjoying! Afterman descension is spotty in places but ascension fucks HARD. all of the albums with the exception of the color before the sun have an underlying story set in the same universe! it's so fun.
