"It is said that if you visit a specific spot at Lake Pátzcuaro in Japunda during the evening, you can occasionally hear the beautiful ballads of its resident deity, Punguari." We are a few weeks away from the Casagrandes Movie, and now that we have footage of Punguari proper, I knew I had to draw her. Her design is absolutely divine!

Night Shade
This was started before The Casagrandes Movie came out, but I'm glad I waited until now. Huge thanks Miguel Puga and the cast and crew for a such a great film.

The other day on Twitter, Miguel Puga posted concept art of a couple gods from the upcoming Casagrandes Movie. I knew what I had to do.
It took over seven hours to draw this divine mother of the earth and all its blossoms, but it was worth it.

Punguari: No, I have, like, a ton of followers.
Ronnie Anne: Oh! On what app?
Punguari: App? I'm the leader of a cult.
Ronnie Anne: Suddenly I have to go...

What happens if Rama meets Punguari "Shara"?
Tumblr media
Hehehe, guess that Rama is confused and suspicious at the same time. By the way, this is first time i drawed a demigod girl, Punguari or "Shara", i wasn't expecting people find her to be interesting and marvelous.
(Oh well, even i haven't watched "The Casagrandes Movie" as much as i haven't watched "The Loud House Movie" yet, but i'll watch it anytime -v-)

A little something I had on the backburner since December. As you guys know, The Casagrandes Movie was teased early last month, and it showed Ronnie Anne and a unnamed new character in a Mayan (or Aztec?) temple.
Naturally I was inspired to draw said character who, according to the rumormill, is named Punguari. But it did get me thinking, The Loud House movie had some fantastical elements in it, most prominently, the Loch Loud Dragon. So would it be a stretch to imagine that a mythical creature would appear in the Casagrandes Movie as well?
Well, that's the gist of this artwork: Ronnie Anne and Punguari encountering a Quetzalcoatl with the later defending the former with her magic. That's right, I'm willing to bet that the new girl is probably gonna have powers of some kind.
Anyway, this is just speculation on my part, and we won't know until a trailer of some kind is revealed. Watch as this post ages poorly. lol
And yes, I'll be making a bingo card just like the last movie.

Sorry as I'm posting this late at night, I took at least 2 hours to make this (this was made late night yesterday).
Yesterday, while I was out that morning and afternoon, I saw Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire in theatres and when I got back I saw The Casagrandes Movie on Netflix (as I paid my money to get back my Netflix subscription and membership). I'm giving both at 10/10. Yes, both villains from new features have been defeated.
The Casagrandes Movie: It's a great movie where they take Ronnie Anne for her 12th birthday, she is determined to do stuff on her own.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire: It's a great movie where the Spenglers team up with OG Ghosbusters in order to defeat an evil ancient god known as Garraka. After the big bad is accidentally let loose from an egg, a frozen apocalypse is imminent. The movie features Patton Oswalt (the actor I'm familiar with from Kim Possible (animated series and live-action), Ratatouille, We Bare Bears, and The Secret Life of Pets 2) as Dr. Hubert Wartzki.

Here are my thoughts on the 2024 animated films of the first quarter
The Tiger's Apprentice: really great action and animaton mixed with a generic story with and kinda bland characters, which is kinda sad cause the elements that work in this really do work pretty well
Orion And The Dark: The story is pretty confusing, but I do like the characters, the humour, and especially loved the character designs and how the Dark was personafied as a character in this (He's basically a big goofy guy with jealously issues and has understandable layers as a character)
Peppa's Cinema Party: The visuals are honestly the worst ones of the year so far, but that is to be expected, and even if its mediocre I surprisingly had fun with this in a "it's bad but hard to truly hate it kinda way"
Demon Slayer To The Hishira Training:
Megamind Vs. The Doom Syndicate: Not as bad as some made it out but still kinda bad, don't like the way they handle Megamind and especially The Mayor in this, the backstories arent very well explained and Roxanne voice feels very off, but to be fair I kinda appreciate the moral and some of the villians like Nighty Knight and Behemoth and the animation was alright I guess but still largely just inferior compared to Dreamworks's Television Division's other works.
Kung Fu Panda 4: The best of the 4 on a visual level (which isn't saying much honesty) and has lots of fun moments but lack the depth and complexity previous films had, but still pretty fun but definitelythe weakest of the 4.
The Casagrandes Movie: Ruby Gillman but Mexican, some very colourful animation but is just Ruby Gillman but with a mesoamerican aesthetic, not to say outside of that it's just an okay way to finish off the adventures of whats basically Mexican Loud house.
Robot Dreams: the movie equivalent of a bedtime story, very visually appealing and emotionally resonating, overall the best animated movie so far this year (kinda)
