Point to remember :))
It doesn't matter if someone you know has completed the whole material twice or thrice, what matters is how much of it you actually remember.
Sadly, our education system does not test how much we know, it only tests how many of the questions we can answer. So, the content you put in your answers matters more than what you know.
So, you're doing good, just don't stop and focus on your own progress. :)

Whilst there are definitely concessions and support you are given as a neurodivergent student, they don't change the fact that studying under the current teaching methods is hard
Like I was given extra time, a study skills advisor and the chance to have my lectures read over my essay plans, these all helped and they are the reason I got as far as I did but I was still held back
Because what I would benefitted most from is having a person in my field not only teach me how to write essays but review the essays I was gonna submit and tell me how to improve, having flexible deadlines that I could discuss and agree with my assessors, lower expectations when it came to reading lists, better written secondary sources, a greater variety of assessment methods than essay, exam and participation in class (and more even weighting between the three) because none of these work for everyone and there has to be more creative ways to assess someone's capabilities than an essay and exams
And arguably the thing that I would have benefitted most from is doing my degree on a part time schedule whilst not having to work a job, which I am not sure was even an option at the Uni I choose, would have been limited in terms of who can afford that and comes with social stigma, but my degree was hard for me, my severe dyslexia meant there was a limit to how much I could be expected to read in one day and it was incredibly draining to keep up with the reading and writing expectations
But the teaching system is not set up to work like this, there is no way this level of support would have been possible under the current system and that means that there are many potential students who we are just outright failing because we don't offer this support
It's okay if the level of support currently offered still wouldn't be enough for you, Uni is not set up for the neurodivergent and whilst many make it work inspite of this, that doesn't mean it will work for everyone and we still have a right to ask for more

"My favorite question to ask consulting firm candidates was, "what was your favorite course in college?" Most, uncharacteristically, would stammer. They had no favorite course. They were at an Ivy to prove they could work hard, not to enjoy learning. Many even acted like it was simply an unfair question--one they had not been given a chance to prepare for. They were not "robots", but that description wasn't completely inaccurate either. So we end up governed by coldly calculating elites that lack creativity, curiosity and humanity." a baby leftist wants to read
To all my (fellow) intersectional leftists,
I've recently gotten more into leftist media (tiktoks, video essays and books) and I need some book recommendations! I'm currently reading "The End of Policing" by Alex Vitale and it's really good. i like how organised and clear it is, with current systems, why they don't work, and solutions that are proven to work without harming the communities in question. I've realised I'm really interested in police and prison and methods of control in society so anything about that would be cool!
Other stuff I'd love:
The history of the LGBTQ+ community and marginalised genders
The history of ethnic minority/global majority groups
Stuff on disability/neurodivergence
Medical system and disability/POC/LGBTQ+ people/women
An introduction to concepts such as capitalism/communism/socalism/anarchy
The current education system (standardised testing n stuff)
Just anything that'd help me be more verse in how to help change the world mwhahaha
I've always loved reading and I read everyday, but I'm definitely a new leftist so please bear that in mind :))
Thanks for reading :]

Lily's special day
Adelaide: *Narrates*........ So, haven't any of you celebrated any holiday whenever it comes?.... What if i told you something else about a tradition?..... First things first, since a white-haired boy named Rama about age of 11 met his "Captain" for first time. From normal experience to incident experience.
PROLOGUE: Flashback
Tumblr media
Adelaide: *Narrates* For what he recently remembers about his "Captain" meeting students from Elementary school, especially his own enemies. A truth comes out when they hurted Neko, karma got them..... This was the first case. And now it's the second case where Rama's enemies are outside, while his friends are waiting for Mrs. Johnson to come. Instead, Rama just went inside class.

And the lights are not fluorescent, and there are no words on the page. - Literary Communities Essay
Author's Preface and Ch. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7
Description: My final portfolio for one of the creative writing courses I took based around exploring the creative nonfiction essay in its many literary forms, with any and all identifying names or signifiers censored out.
In my many years as the daughter of a full-time teacher (in companion with my few years as the daughter of two full-time teachers), I have bore unwitting witness to a myriad of violations of the human spirit. One wide and ever-expanding enough to fuel one of those documentaries that makes people tear up in the theater and leave telling each other something along the lines of “Wow, that was so deep.”, over and over and back and forth.
I’ve seen class disparities become educational disparities, the breakdown of the overarching student drive and the subsequent breakdown of the heart of teaching (aka the literal teachers themselves, the deterioration of licensing standards for teachers across the board. I was even (un)lucky enough to gather around the dinner table, each and every sorry night, to be sorely reminded of most below-the-college grade level educator’s mainly shared experience of taking second retail or service jobs to balance out their salaries that are blatantly below minimum wage, intense and inescapable job creep, and their time wasted by the endless meeting and group exercises and always unraveling assignments and requirements, always at the cruel hand of the undeniably cruel act of having each and every decision they make in regards to their own classroom scrutinized, critiqued, and forcibly “mended” by politicians, principals, and committees with absolutely no experience in their line of work, nor clue what the everliving heck they are on about.
I will not even bother, my dear School Superintendent, with the regurgitation of my dear mother’s testimony of the grueling and degrading reality of teaching Pre-K within the state of Florida today, along with the past 25+ years. You do not, I presume, need that burden of knowledge anymore than I do.
However, just like the previously mentioned theoretical documentary, awareness of these issues is usually meant with the proverbial “Damn, that sucks dude.”, followed by the gradual chatter of resumed conversations and the scattering of unfazed individuals.
In the interest of actually having something done about even just a tiny, miniscule part of literally any of this, I am writing to you today an introduction of a concrete proposal concerning the overwhelming need for a comprehensive writing program in [REDACTED] elementary schools’ shared [REDACTED]’s curriculum. For years, teachers have used antiquated means and methods to teach creative writing, failing to teach anything that truly sticks with their students outside of the educational environment, let alone anything that applies to the world of creative writing outside of said environment. My proposal calls for a group of reading/literacy coaches and experts, experienced in the field of creative writing and training and instructing others, to direct work and collaborate with teachers to train them for the effects of the implementation of a proposed replacement writing program.
With your approval, this proposal will be later presented to the School Board and all teachers and principals statewide, for funding and/or collaboration with this plan. Thank you for your time.
