Your dog rant is EVERYTHING to me. I just do not understand people who let dogs lick their faces and jump all over them and their furniture. When I tell people I don't like when dogs lick me they stare at me like I've just told them I kick babies for a living. Dogs eat so much gross stuff and their tongues are like humans it's DISGUSTING. They also just stink in general so I do not know why people let them up on furniture. Our dog always had his own bed and was not allowed to jump on people because honestly? Super rude. Just shows you haven't trained your dog. If you have an opinion that isn't DOGS ARE FLAWLESS people want to skin you alive it's so bizarre to me. I'm from a western country so people are way too into their dogs haha. I also do not like how people refuse to put their dogs outside when I ask...when they've invited me to their place? Like I'm your guest and I don't feel comfortable with your dog jumping and licking me? Please put him outside? I like dogs but people are very blind and irresponsible when it comes to training and I don't like how I'm the bad guy for wanting to be hygienic.

but ended up having a rummage on the timeline for DH and it just doesn't work out - nev only meets aberforth when he's moved into the room of requirement full time after easter, when ginny's already left hogwarts and gone into hiding at muriel's. so i think it's just neville (and probs seamus) who get to know aberforth. maybe in seventh year they bond? (maybe i will... steal this for beasts? omg making a note... even though i do not want to touch the aberforth/goat dynamic with a barge pole).

but maybe the lack of acquaintance makes ab's response to ginny's excellent jinxing even nicer - like, the world's grumpiest man simply had to praise this young lady's terrific spell-casting. still cute in the end!

Probably not what you expect anon but that would be without a second thought: Taivan the Bakar.

It may be a trope but a soul desperately trying to find it's purpose, failing on all ends until it shines in the most desperate of situations. Especially the end of the questline where he shows is true nature with the little centaur foal ... was the first and till now only questline in DF that made me emotional.

Maybe it's because I had a dog that was a stabilizer to my soul/psyche like Taivan a long time ago that made me love this quest and that Bakar so much ...

His Quest (besides the Wrathion and Sabellian one) is the only one I would play again and again and again.
