The Sandman: Act III is available on Audible!
In Act III, we follow Morpheus on a grand journey to take care of family business. He visits with his son Orpheus (Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page), an act that brings with it profound consequences. Accompanied by Delirium (Kristen Schaal, Bob’s Burgers), he tracks down their estranged brother, Destruction (David Harewood, Supergirl), the only member of the Endless ever to abandon their post. And at an inn at the intersection of all worlds, a group of travelers are forced together by a storm that threatens to destroy reality itself, with grave repercussions for Morpheus and the rest of the Endless.
All the original cast returns, including Kat Dennings as Death, Aidan Turner as Cluracan, and Neil Gaiman himself as The Narrator, joined by Harewood and other new cast members Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), KJ Apa (Riverdale), Shruti Hasaan (Race Gurram), and more.

I love how Neil Gaiman has a lot of the same actors in his adaptations. Oh Michael Sheen and David Tennant are in Good Omens? They're doing the voices of Lucifer and Loki in the Sandman audiobook and do a little cameo in an episode of the show. James McAvoy is Morpheus in the audiobook? Let's make him do a voice for a character that appears for two seconds in the show.
Neil Gaiman himself narrates all of his audiobooks? Fuck it, let him also do the voice of the skull crow
No one can escape the Gaiman, not even himself

Made my gratefulness known on Twitter. When one of your absolute favorite characters is handled with love and care no matter the medium with elite talent is the best feeling. ❤️

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Tom Sturridge as Morpheus, but James McAvoy has such a deep, booming voice that I can only ever fully see him as Dream. He’s fantastic.

Good Omens fandom: OMG, THE ANGST IS SO DEEP AND HURTFUL!
Sandman fandom, that has gone through the worst of the angst Neil can give for one comic book series and two adaptations: HA! Weak.

I so hope this is what I think it is…
An Audible Act IV would make the long wait for Netflix S2 (and I don’t mind waiting) so much sweeter…
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I finished Act III of Audible's The Sandman. Word of advice if you're planning on listening, unless you've never cried for any character in any media or literature, I wouldn't risk listening to it in public. I was fighting tears at work by the end of Brief Lives, the first half of act 3. The only reason I didn't stop for a breather was because there was a Hob short story I was looking forward to which gave me life after James McAvoy's performance as Morpheous stabbed me in the heart.
