i cant stop thinking about how both times rescue was near, leah and fatin gravitated towards one another

like in the first scene it’s fatin who runs towards leah but in the second scene it shows a togetherness; like that no matter what happens they have each other and will be together.

I really hope Toni and Shelby are carrying around a little water bottle to wash their fingers before they make love. They don't need to catch some kind of pussy infection in addition to all the shit going on on the island. Although I noticed in that s2 episode 1 scene that Toni's hands appeared to be cleaner than Shelby's so we have to suppose she was the one doing the fingering !? 👀

Toni..I need answers | The Wilds

soo, I just rewatched the shelby x toni first kiss scene again. I was rewatching it because I really enjoy this scene of them sort of finally understanding a little bit of each others lives, and they kissed (obviously) and I was confused.

You can tell Toni was a little hesitant when Shelby kissed her but then yk she got into the groove of it. Shortly after she ran after Shelby through the woods, and back onto the beach where the other girls were fighting (side note: every time i watch the scene I can't help but CACKLE at how the girls are running, like ik your in the woods rn but bestie, this running isn't it.)(also, same shelby, I would have ran too)

I want to know what was going through Toni's head once they got to the beach and she stopped Shelby. What was she going to say? Because they never actually talked about this really, they couldn't. My question is, did Toni deep down have feelings for Shelby before the kiss? If she did, I would believe she sort of lost them when she found out Shelby didn't support that lifestyle, but rekindled them again when the two of them kissed.

After the kiss, you can see Toni had softened up towards Shelby. Offering her water and shi. Toni was even, I don't want to use the word worried but I'm going to use it because of brain rot, Toni was even worried when Shelby showed up on the beach wasted. But who wouldn't be tbh.

Remember the scene where Dot offered to be Fatin's roommate? You can see Toni turn her head and look at Shelby (most likely to see if she was uncomfortable because of dot and fatin fake kissing.) BASICALLY, Toni became more soft when it came to Shelby after their kiss.

I love the scene where they were walking and Shelby said, "(..) I swear the first time I heard that song I thought that said "pop some caps" " and Toni was like "No way I thought the same thing." and Shelby was like are you just saying that to make me feel better? And Toni got so defensive (lolol) (dont get me started on how Toni pulled the tree branch back so Shelby could walk in front, ifykyk)

If you think about it, Toni was BOLD. Laughing at Shelby talkign about a "You got a, you got.." AND THEN WIPING LYCHEE (idk if thats what they were eating) OFF HER FACE. The staring the happened right after was so hard to watch, DO SOMETHING.

Anyways, my main question is, what was Toni's thought process about Shelby, before and after the kiss? If they were different before and after, why did they change? Was it because she understood Shelby then? What was it?

I don't know, let me know some of y'all's opinions on this!

This was spurred by me re-reading a Toni & Nora interaction fic I started but thinking about S1E4 when Toni is explaining Rachel choosing Leah over Nora during the shelter building competition and she says “Yeah, Rachel would burn family if she needed to. Not something I could ever do but honestly? Respect.” And like…no. Rip to the writers but this is incorrect and I know this bc Toni told me so herself. This is Toni who has never had a stable life, who has always YEARNED for a family—or just people who would please fucking stay in her life for once please—who would literally do ANYTHING for the people she loves. You absolutely canNOT tell me that she would be anything less than enraged by how Rachel treats her sister. Where is my Toni/Rachel feud over Rachel casually throwing away what she has when Toni has craved that her entire life and never had a fucking chance. Also you can’t tell me it wouldn’t be triggering for her with her trauma regarding abandonment and being left alone to see Nora literally being cast aside by Rachel the same way Toni feels she has been her whole life. Nora being literally and figuratively abandoned by the person she loves most right now? Toni would lose her fucking mind
