Is it time for Ether to move back into the cryptocurrency spotlight?.
The cryptocurrency that’s built on the Ethereum blockchain started the year around $8, but through some plains, valleys and peaks, it has made it to $368.13, a gain of more than 4,500%. That’s compared with a 700%-plus gain for bitcoin in 2017.
After a sharp run-up, though, Ether has been moving largely sideways for some time. That could be about to change. Compliments of a trader identified as theEquilibrium on StockTwits, the chart below suggests that Ether is ready to break out to new highs:
Bitcoin BTCUSD, +0.06% still outranks Ether where market cap is concerned, by around $4 billion to $1 billion.
To be sure, bitcoin has hogged the spotlight this year, with an eye-popping 700%-plus bust higher that could be the talk of Thanksgiving-dinner discussions this year. It’s trading above $8,200 Tuesday morning.
On Sunday, Ether hit its highest price since Sept. 2, driven partially by a Bloomberg report that it could get its own derivatives market, according to CoinDesk.
According to that report, derivatives on ether would help bring in professional traders and investors who have been wary of dipping a toe in such unregulated markets. Ethereum was co-founded by Vitalik Buterin, a Russian-Canadian programmer who tweets pretty regularly about the cryptocurrency world.

Loneliness is an unpleasant emotional state where one experiences feelings of sadness because one has no company. Lonely people tend to feel empty, alone, and unwanted and they often crave human contact.  However, because of their passionate state, they find it difficult to form connections with other people.
Being forlorn doesn't mean being withdrawn.
