Post-story concept art of Magnolia and Flint (who was originally named Larken, but due to certain events, he gave himself a new name).

Flint/Larken is also one of Garridan and Persephone's younger children. Much like his elder brother Inigo, Larken was rebellious and brazen during much of his youth. However, his nonconformist behavior led him to distance himself from the ideals of his family and eventually spiral down the path of mischief and criminality. Sometime during his fifties, he takes Magnolia into his care, abandons his life of crime, and assumes a new identity while working as a blacksmith.

Magnolia, on the other hand, is Larken's adopted daughter, (unbeknownst to her, however, as Larken took her in as an infant and raised her as if she were his own biological daughter)

Larken's story is an interesting and complex one, and I plan on telling it in full detail, whether that be through comic panels/storyboards/and drawn out scenes in the future~

Meet Inigo. Garridan and Persephone's flamboyant and nonchalant first-born son!

Inigo, or more widely known throughout Elysiah as "The Fire Virtuoso", is a highly skilled performer and Fire-Orphic user (humans capable of manipulating fire, with the help of elemental stones). His moniker, as stagy as it may sound, is nonetheless true to its meaning due to his efficiency in incorporating and manipulating fire during his performances.

This particular concept art of him would be relevant during the events that occur late main-story to post-story (from Emilius's death to Garridan's ascension to the Elysian throne). His design/concept art as an adolescent/teener will definitely be coming soon though!

Time for some wholesome art!

These two may seem familiar if you've seen my previous posts, but from left to right they are brothers Garridan (formerly Azaroth when he was younger, as in this reference) and Emilius when they were children.

For reference, I usually keep a rough idea in mind of their ages when I draw out their designs, so in this image, I would say these two are about 10 and 6 respectively!

A character concept sheet of Emory Monette, a minor character, but one that is strongly tied to a significant event that occurs before the main story (specifically during Adelius's lifetime). For a quick summary of his character, Emory is a forthright and breezy researcher with an esteemed profile within Elysiah's royal court, and beyond Furthermore, he also shares a close rapport with Adelius, Elysiah's crown prince and heir to the throne.

Continuing with the theme of Elysiah's ruling royal family (a species known as the Vo'kari, revered for their bloodline connected to the Goddess), is Ragnvaldr. He's the descendent of Aurelius, father of Adelius and grandfather to Garridan and Emilius. Originally I was going to keep this piece flat-coloured, but after experimenting with different light sources, I quite liked how the shading in this one added a depth of menace, which complimented his character~

A backstory-related piece I made a while back, but I still liked how it turned out! (plus it makes me feel better to post it rather than to keep a slightly finished piece hiding away in my folders aha)

Characters are from left to right; Garridan, Persephone and Inigo (in Persephone's arms).

For brief context, Inigo is born out of wedlock by Persephone (A low-class commoner, and Garridan (An outcasted royal prince belonging to species of dragon-resembling humans known as Vo'kari) Despite keeping their relationship undisclosed as best they could, the birth of their son meant that they taking care of their child together would not be possible. (Being seen together is risky enough, but if the public/the Elysian Church found out that they also had a child, all of their lives could potentially be in danger).

Out of safety for all of them, Garridan and Persephone decide to part ways (but eventually reunite along with Inigo some years after)

This time of Vlatka, the distant and reserved Queen-consort/spouse to Ragnvaldr, and mother to Adelius.

Her design, particularly the clothing aspect, has gone through numerous revamps in order to complement her meek and pious personality without being too complex or flashy. Overall, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out! (for now, lol)

Finally got around to posting Garridan's post-story clothing he wears during his time as Elysiah's monarch!

Originally, this was going to be an wardrobe reference sheet, but artblock hit and ultimately I only had his post-story royal-wear done.

I plan on redoing this in the future as I'm still unsure about some parts of his outfit design.
