It had been a long day. Travelling all day to a new venue, then playing a show, then getting back on the bus to move on to the next venue had been exhausting. All the ghouls were tired. Copia could see the tiredness in their faces, hell, he could feel it in his own, the heaviness in his eyes. But one ghoul in particular he could see the exhaustion on more than the others.

He been watching Dew fight sleep for the last twenty minutes now. He watched as the little ghouls eyes would droop until they were almost closed before his head would jerk back and he’d wake up abruptly. As determined as Dew seemed to be to finish the film the ghouls had picked out to watch for the evening, there was only so many times Copia could watch him struggle like this.

He made his was over to him, kneeling in front of him and placing a gentle hand on his knees. Dew jumps and makes an annoyed squeak, glaring down at Copia.

“Wha’ was tha’ for?” He slurs, slow blinking at him.

“I think it’s time you went to bed, little one.” Copia whispers, trying not to disturb the other ghouls.

Dew pouts at him, frowning in a way Copia thinks might be him trying to intimidating but he looks more like an angry kitten. “M not little, I’m big.”

“Oh yes, of course. My bad.” Copia puts on a serious voice, trying his hardest not to giggle when Dew yawns. “But I still think it’s time for bed, even for big ghouls like you.”

Dew rubs his eye with his fist, yawning again. “But I’m watchin’.” He lazily points to the tv, yawning again. “The films.”

Copia can’t help but chuckle then, watching as Dew blinks hard trying to stay awake.

“Do you even know the plot of the film at this point.”

Dew frowns at him again and the image of an angry kitten pops into Copias head again. “Uh huh. S’ got people in it. And a dragon.” He blinks in confusion. “Or maybe it’s just a big lizard.”

Copia laughs as he stands, grimacing when his knees crack at the shift of weight.

“Definitely time for bed.” He hold a hand out expecting Dew to take it but he bats it away with a glare.

“Nooooo.” Dew pouts up at him. “Don’t wanna. Not even tired.”

A full belly laugh bubbles from Copia before he can even stop it. “I know that’s a lie, little one. I’ve watched you try not to fall asleep for the last twenty minutes now.”

Dew huffs and crosses his arms across his chest.

“No you haven’t.”

“Oh, but I have. I know you’ve been tired all day, so now it’s time to sleep.” Copia holds his hand out again for Dew to take.

Dew whines and pouts, shaking his head. Copia rolls his eyes at his typical fire chill stubbornness.

“I’ll give you two options. You can either take your own little butt off to bed.” Copia pauses, waiting for Dew to answer. He doesn’t. “Or, I’ll pick you up and carry you to bed.” Knowing how much Dew usually hates being carried, he expects the ghoul to jump straight up and rush always.

To his surprise however, Dew takes a second to think about it, biting his lip as he does. He eventually looks up at Copia with wide puppy eyes.

“Up.” He lifts his arms up, making grabby hand at him.

Copia feels his eyebrows raise in surprise. “Up? Are you sure?” He asks warily, not wanting to get ripped to shreds by ghoul claws.

Dew pouts at him, and nods. “Up!”

Copia doesn’t hesitate scooping the little ghoul up then, letting Dew wrap his legs around his waist and rest his head in his shoulder. He carries him off towards where the bunks are as Dew purrs into his neck.

“Can I sleep in your bed?” Dew whispers.

Copia hums, rubbing a hand down Dews back. “Of course, little one. Whatever you want.”

Dew perks up a little a that promise. “Will you rub my belly?”

Copia laughs, expecting a request like that from Dew. “Of course.” He presses a kiss to Dews temple. “Anything you want.”

Dew lets out a happy but very sleepy chirp into his neck. He’s fast asleep, snoring on Copias shoulder before they even make it to his bed.

🍖 Johnny and Kung Lao look kinda defeated as they apologize to you, but their apology is very sincere because they never truly meant to make you cry

❤️ The rest of the day, after some yummy food and cartoons, is spent sharing playtime

⭐️ Johnny convinces everyone that they need a small dance break after lunch, and now everyone needs a dance break

🌟 Whether it’s dancing with some nice tunes, or those silly little fun exercises online

🌩 Y’all ever done Koo Koo Kangaroo? One of my favorite child exercise things, and they’re mostly simple (Double Scoops my favorite)

🍖 Kung Lao convinces you to come to play outside, mostly in Liu Kang’s personal spot in the Wushi gardens (a lot of regressors like spending time there, it’s really nice and secretive)

❤️ And you two chase Johnny and Kenshi around (with him giving you a piggyback ride), you won, both Kenshi and Johnny surrendered

⭐️ Since your outside, you sit on Kenshi’s lap and pop bubbles that the others are making (Johnny got them from his room)

🌟 Or you guys walk by the nice smelling flowers, you on Kenshi’s hip (much to the other’s protest, and Kenshi’s joy)

🌩 When they get inside, Raiden gets some paper and decides its color time (something calming before bedtime)

🍖 You to color, and the fie of you end up making Liu Kang a pretty picture because you notice he doesn't have many portraits of himself (a terrible thing, Johnny declared)

⭐️ They made a plan too!! Just in case!!

🌟 Kung Lao got the couch all comfy with all of Liu Kang’s pillows and blankets (absolutely destroyed his bed, he’ll get scolded at later)

🍖 Kenshi and Raiden helped you get ready for bedtime and honestly, you were so sleepy from your long day running around

❤️ ^ If you need diapers or any sort of protection, Raiden will gently change you (best out of the four of them, he’s an older brother and uses them himself)

⭐️ Liu Kang comes back after what feels like (and is) hours of being gone

🌟 He can’t even be mad that Kung Lao stole all his blankets and pillows, you five are passed out in a major cuddle pile, and he has to keep himself from laughing

🌩 ^ Mostly because it seems you covered Johnny’s face (lightly) with a pillow to shush his snoring in your sleep

🍖 Went much better than expected, he expected he wouldn’t have a house anymore with the chaos, ngl

❤️ He might snap a quick photo with Johnny’s phone, but is a bit cautious of waking you five up

⭐️ He’ll kiss all of your foreheads, and remove the pillow off Johnny’s cage, and goes to continue his pouring God work in his office

I didn't write it fast enough so here's half of what I wrote and won't be posting (cowboy hat emoji)

“And look who the cat dragged in…”

You groaned as you walked up to the wooden counter of the crowded bar. You gave the bartender- Jeonghan, an aggravated expression.

“Shut up.” You stated bluntly. You popped yourself down, and let your forehead smack into the counter. You let out a pained grunt of regret, tilting your now surely bruised head up. “I need a drink.”

Jeonghan started to move, picking up a glass.

“You know… The only people in bars on February 13th are-”

“Shut up Jeonghan.”

“- Really lonely and desperate and… Sad.”

You looked up at him, imagining what it would be like to strangle the man. He smiled as if he had no clue what was going through your head and set the glass on the counter.

“Drink up.”

You sat up a little straighter, your fingers tightening around the cold glass. You tapped your finger against it.

“This holiday is so stupid,” you grumbled. A confident smirk crossed Jeonghan’s lips and you interrupted him with a point of your finger. “And it’s not because I’m single. Or because I’m spending the day alone.”

Jeonghan leaned forward, letting his chin fall in his hand.

“Then why is this holiday so stupid?”

“Because it makes everyone so desperate,” you stated bluntly. “It’s a fucking Tuesday, and this bar is packed. All because people are so afraid of being alone on Valentine’s Day that they will do anything to wake up in the same bed as someone tomorrow?” You scoffed and shook your head. Tipping the alcohol that Jeonghan had poured you down your throat. Your eyebrows scrunched tightly at the burn in your throat and you placed the glass back down. You eyed Jeonghan expectantly.

“You aren’t going to hear any complaints on my end about Valentine’s Day,” Jeonghan replied with a shrug. He took your glass, pouring you more to drink. “I get plenty of tips.”

He pressed both of his palms against the counter, a sympathetic expression spread across his face, pressed into his brows. He let his head fall ever-so-slightly to the side.

“Really? Three years and he didn’t even bother to give you flowers? You deserve so much more than that.”

His sympathy was replaced by a slow smile. You rolled your eyes.

“You’re a psychopath,” you commented.

“I’m a broke college student,” Jeonghan corrected. As he spoke, someone joined your side. She leaned forward, shimming her shoulders.

“Hyukkie,” she whined, letting her hair fall to the side, similarly to how Jeonghan’s had been before. “I need another drink.”

He smiled at her.

“Let me guess… Another sex on the beach?” He suggested, already flipping a cup in order to start making a drink. You rolled your eyes at his performance and downed your second drink.

“Sex on the beach or… Wherever else you want it.”

Jeonghan laughed as if she had a chance, which you full well knew that she didn’t. He passed her the completely drink and as he did their fingers almost touched. You could feel the way she held her breath.

“I think that guy over there is eyeing you up and down,” he suggested and pointed behind her. She followed his gaze and her lips flickered up into a smile.

“You think?”

He gave her a confident smile.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to you.”

An excited shake racked her body and she tightened her grip on her drink. Thanking Jeonghan before running off. You waited until you were sure she was gone and then you lazily turned your attention back to Jeonghan.

“Oh Hyukkie-” Jeonghan laughed, and took your glass into his hand again.

“And with that you’re cut off.”

“Wha-” You protested with a squeak. You made grabby hands towards the cup but he held it away from you. “Jeonghan I just got here.”

“And tomorrow’s Valentine’s Day,” Jeonghan replied pointedly. “And you, are so very single and, sorry to say it, completely pathetic.”

Another sound of protest left your mouth.

“If you want to get laid tonight-”

“I don’t want to get laid tonight,” you replied bluntly. He raised an eyebrow and gestured to the sign of the bar above his head. “I’m here enough that you know me. It’s just another night at the bar.”

Jeonghan tutted his tongue.

“Poor, poor y/n. Your little facade is coming to a swift close.”

The yard of your villa is stunning – the villa itself too, but it's the yard and the connecting private beach that really stands out.

Bakugo really had gone all out for this anniversary.

Sun beats own onto the tile, heating the ground and anything else it can lay its rays on. You included. Waves crash against the shore just a few meters away and seagulls call to each other, sending their calls over the soft sea breeze that has already tried and failed to curl the edges of Bakugo's hair. In the yard itself and safely tucked behind a private gate and four tall, sandstone walls is a deep pool and two large cushioned loungers, one of which has been the location of your daily sunbathing.

'Mmm, yes. Or, Mmm, I need to apply more, but can't be arsed?' He cocks an eyebrow, a smirk already taking his lip as he snatches a bottle from inside and begins the small trek across the yard. Even if you don't need any re-applying, he's going to insist. You've been lying out here for hours, baring yourself to the sun and making him crazy. He'd promised to behave, promised to at least try and not pin you to every available surface and let you actually enjoy yourself, but who could blame him for being insatiable when you're out here looking like that.

From your lounger, you stretch out and let your eyes flutter open when you feel his shadow looming over you. It's far from a bad sight to open your eyes too. Bakugo's shirtless, his body warm and tanned by the sun, a thin layer of water clinging to his collarbones and dripping down his toned stomach from an earlier dip in the pool that hasn't quite evaporated. Your stomach twists, tongue flicking out to lick at your lips.

'Hey, baby.' His voice is gravel, molten and heavy as he reaches down to run his knuckles across your cheek. 'You gonna let me top you up?'

Nodding, you sit up and roll your shoulders trying and failing to loosen the stiffness in your muscles born from sunbathing a touch too long, but before you can attempt to perform a slightly more complex stretch Bakugo's hand is being pressed to the small of your back and urging you forward.

He slips in behind you, letting you occupy the space between his legs as he plants a soft kiss on your cheek. 'Let me, okay?'

You know there's an alterer motive as soon as he upends the sunscreen and squirts it onto his palms, but you can't find it in you to care. Instead, you curve your spine and hiss when his cold hands touch against the skin of your shoulders. His hands feel like heaven as they slip across your skin and begin to knead and press at your back and you rock into his touch, following each of his movements. 'Thanks, Katsuki.'

'Anything for you, Princess.'

'Anything?' A moan slips from your lips as his hands reach around your neck and slip down your arms.

He leans in, pressing his front to your back and nipping at your ear. There's no way you can't feel him hard and aching at your back, but he chooses not to mention it; save this moment be cut short. 'Anything.'

You chuckle then, letting him continue to spread the sun cream on your body. He's diligent, but then again, he's always diligent where you're concerned. Worshiping you, he'd once said, was an honor he'd always be dying to shoulder, a duty that he was ever anxious to fulfill – after all, a women like you deserved everything he had to give and more. 'Would you get my chest for me too, please, Katsuki...'

Breath hitching, he swallows down excitement until it causes his stomach to bubble. 'Of course...' Letting his hands slide back up your arms, he slips his palms down your chest following the line of your bathing top. He kisses your neck before his hands vanish under your top to cup your chest, your tits rolling perfectly in large hands as he brushes his thumbs across your flesh until he's able to take hold of your nipples and pinch.

You gasp immediately and lurch, your ass pressing back into his cock. 'Kat – Katsuki...'

'Yeah, Princess.' Grinning against your throat, he gropes at you again and earns himself another low moan.

this is a tricky one cause i think you can only really have this if you're writing a multichaptered fic. which i don't do very much! but... yes. back when i was still working on dr54 (the full title is too long lmao) there were a few people who threw some theories that were correct. i can't remember them off the top of my head, nor do i want to list them because of spoilers (it's on hiatus but i hope to return someday!! my dear ocs i love you) but they got me SCREAMING to skep in dms ;v;

🤗 What advice would you give to new fanfic writers that are just getting started?

write. like, seriously, write a lot. i've been writing fanfiction since i was 11, starting at crappy oc insert niche shit that's since been nuked off the internet, to whatever i have now. and please do have fun with it! both of that sound very generic, but it's definitely true. if you wind up feeling stressed and upset by writing, which is supposed to be something that should make you feel fulfilled, then maybe it's time to take a step back.

on another note... if you're posting to ao3 and are hoping to get some people reading your works: don't self-deprecate (don't say stuff like "this fic sucks" or "idk how to do a summary" because people will NOT read out of pity), don't overtag, make sure to have proper spacing between your paragraphs (a lot of people are willing to overlook simple errors as long as it's readable, aka the spacing), and... i think that's about it, really. if you need help with ao3 posting, tbh just hit me up off-anon and i can help (<- has helped friends before with it).

Looking for One Specific Volume of a text that's been out of print since the late 1800s because you're tracing a single reference in another out-of-print text, except for some reason only volumes 2 and 3 are available online and you need a specific edition of volume 4: a mood board

i find it interesting (and by "interesting" i mean both heartwarming and heartbreaking) how himeru so obviously projects kaname onto people around them.

it's most clearly exemplified in their relationship with kohaku, because kohaku is so very little brother-shaped. it's how himeru helped kohaku with his clothes, and with trying to find a job, and with the whole "thinking they're closer than they actually are," thing. which. ouch ouch ouch. 

it's how himeru treats kohaku with so much care, such as when they immediately apologize to kohaku for misunderstanding him. himeru treats kohaku the way they wish they treated kaname, actually being there for him and conveying how much he cares and apologizing when they mess up.  it's how himeru sees reflections of the half-brother he barely got to know in the people around them, and treats them the way he wishes he could've treated kaname before everything went wrong. head in hands.
