hi everyone, I know I haven't been very active lately in terms of posting art, but I would like to make a post anyway about the future of this blog, as it concerns current events happening in the world.

As you all have probably seen (and if you haven't, I highly suggest you do some research on the subject), Palastine is currently being terrorized and the people are experiencing a mass genocide. Many companies we know and use, are funding this by sending money to Isreal to continue bombing, gasing, and shooting the innocent civillians of Gaza. Disney being one of them. Now, I've always loved Disney, and been a huge fan of their creations ever since I was little. They are the animation studio that inspired my art the most, and still do to this day. As you all are probably aware, my blog is known as the "Disney self shipping blog" , my most in-depth and popular self ships being with Hades from Hercules 1997, and Captain Hook from Peter Pan 1953.

So, I know me posting art of these two characters with different versions of myself being in relationships with them isn't directly funding the Disney corporation, but I feel that, as a content creator with somewhat of a platform in the self ship community, it's my responsibility to speak on this subject, as it's one that is weighing heavily on me and has been for most of the week.

I am not muslim, nor do I have any muslim people in my immediate circle, but I don't feel that that matters in the face of a genocide, and having empathy for the people experiencing their world being colonized.

I don't feel that it would be appropriate for me to continue posting art that clearly is meant to mirror the infamous Disney art style, with its characters, and story lines inspiring my self insert stories. I can only see two immediate futures for this blog which are either A. I find a way to pull more inspiration from the original source of my f/os and find a more personal style, while, not entirely disregarding any Disney versions of them, greatly distancing myself from them, and no longer using the Disney tag (as I feel platforming Disney in anyway, no matter how small the scale, will contribute to putting money in their pockets one way or another). Or B. ceasing my Disney self ships indefinitely until it is appropriate (if ever) to start posting them again.

I can't say for certain the future of this blog, I am still drawing and self shipping in my private time, but for now I think it would be best for me to put those to the side when posting online for the foreseeable future.

If I do start posting my Disney self ships again, I will be very clear that I want to distance the art I make from the company, the studio, and put a disclaimer on every piece I post, as I've seen similar blogs to mine do in the past, and I think it does a good job at denouncing the Disney brand/lable while staying true to the art they want to post.

For now though, I want to submit this post as an informal, temporary goodbye. More of a hiatus, until further notice.

posting at 11 PM cause cryptic hours why not. just a little further update that my semi hiatus is become more of a hard hiatus and I think Ill be taking my leave in early June. I was planning a big dash event to send off to but it's a lot of work to begin with between my irl shenanigans 🤔 Im now pivoting to a full time artist esp with trying to set up at vending spots and being active on socials to keep up with them darn algorithms and trends. I didn't want to make anything definitive until I noticed it's taking up like 70% of my time and craft fair season is upon me.

and Ill admit I wanted to leave the rpc earlier but oough im so attached to ya'll < 3 Ive been finding it a lot easier and a lot less stressful to rp through discord with pals where Ill be at. And although there wont be some big event send off I dooo wanna doodle something with some final summaries of what the plot was going to be to wrap Geeta (and the connected muses) up.

Im also deactiving muses starting from the oldest-not really used or forgotten about blogs to current after Im archived some headcanons, lore or silly posts I wanna keep. I wiilll be keeping geeta's up though even after I take my retirement. The name is gr8 and I guess this is as good a use for "laprimera" as it can get lol.

But Im not off tumblr nor am I completely done making headcanons, doodles and the what not. They'll just be on my main @shiny-miltank and peeps who have my discord can still grab me there to say meowdy or rp privately 👍

Meanwhile Ill be attempting to finish final plot points with peeps who've grabbed me for theirs (mostly on here, riley and briar). thanks for keeping up with me meanwhile ' v ' /

Thursdays are cancelled

Hey, y’all!

It’s us again, the mods of the VP blog. As you may remember last summer we had reduced our viewing schedule to once a week, as we know from experience that attendance tends to be low during that time. We left it open on whether we’d offer two viewings per week again come fall, and we determined it by asking you all for your opinion. You were loud and clear about wanting us to restart Thursday viewings again as soon as the leaves started changing their colours in the northern hemisphere.

The thing is, however, that, despite attendance not being mandatory turnout for Thursday viewings is very low. Since we’ve restarted the twice a week schedule back in November, most of the time it would be only one other person showing up aside from mod Nihil, who hosts that day, or one of the other mods who would join them. We are well aware that life happens, especially on weekdays, and thus are cutting Thursdays to switch back to our intial Sunday viewings.

Februrary 23rd will be the last Thursday viewing, until further notice.

Furthermore, we’ve also noticed that turn out is very low on days we show an episode of Stargate Universe, and even more so when a SGU episode happens to fall on a Thursday. We’ve added the show to our roster some two years ago, since our blog is called Stargate Viewing Party, and not just SG-1 & SGA Viewing Party. We are well aware as to why that is, that people don’t tend to show up for SGU. Taking this into account, plus the aforementioned cutting of Thursdays leaving less viewing time, we’ll be taking SGU off the roster once the current run of the show is completed. SGU might return in the future but for now it’s going on indefinite hiatus.

We have decided to do all this to keep the VP a vibrant and fun experience for all who attend. Thanks for joining us!

This will be a long post. Please read it anyway.

I've gone back and forth on this for a while now. I've been dealing with health problems and real life responsibilities that make it difficult to keep up with my regular posting, let alone with projects like this, which is why I haven't posted in so long. However, in the end, I decided I don't want to anymore.

I like Vladimir Makarov, as a character. I’ve been drawn to him since high school. He’s an interesting character to pick apart and analyze, both in the context of his fictional world and the larger meta context of his place in the narrative and how he’s received by his audience, especially in the realm of fandom.

However, he's also a character who has canonically committed genocide against the Chechen people during the First Chechen War. He is a character who, during his operations as a terrorist, profits from genocide in the Global South, particularly on the continent of Africa. And his reboot incarnation is no better, having taken part in Barkov’s occupation of Urzikstan and seeking to reoccupy it—timeline discrepancies aside, this is the character Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer wrote. And it’s for a reason.

I can sit here and talk about the nuances of fiction and reality and what it means to like a fictional character all day. However, I cannot and will not run a fan blog for a fictional genocider when my country, the United States, is funding, conducting, and aiding and abetting in multiple genocides across the world. I cannot draw Makarov cheekily answering asks about his love life and personal tastes while people suffer in Palestine, in Sudan, in Congo and elsewhere. I cannot contribute to a fandom environment where colonialism, oppression, and genocide are glossed over, whether fictional or real.

I implore everyone who follows this blog, or who reads this post, to do something within your ability if you aren't already. Attend a protest, participate in strikes like the one currently underway, and contact your representatives and implore them to denounce genocide and apartheid. Boycott companies on the BDS list and give your financial support to those who need it, whether that means donating to trustworthy organizations, purchasing e-sims for people on the ground in Gaza, or donating directly to those in need. Buy your electronics used and refurbished, not new. Create art—draw, write, make music, whatever it is you do—in solidarity for the peoples affected by colonialism, apartheid, and genocide. If you use social media frequently, follow those affected by these conflicts, pay attention to the news they share. Take the time to put the present into context and educate yourselves on the history of these conflicts and the systems at play. Encourage others to do the same.

Here is a very small list of resources on Palestine, Sudan, and the DRC to get you started. I may add more links in the near future, but keep in mind this is no way meant to be exhaustive; it is imperative that y’all take the time to inform and investigate yourselves. I nor anyone else can spoon-feed the facts. I've linked directly to donation pages for some, but I encourage y'all to dig through their sites to learn more and find more resources.

Finally, as fans of Call of Duty, it’s important to acknowledge and reckon with the fact that these games are military propaganda. I’ve seen this refrain passed around the fandom time and time again, but very rarely do I see it actively engaged with; most often it’s used as a way of dismissing the game’s narratives in favor of doing whatever one wants with the characters. And as someone who’s made it My Thing to do whatever I want with the characters while also staying cognizant of the themes of the stories these characters come from, I’m going to challenge y’all to do the same.

Engage with the propaganda.

Take the time to analyze and deconstruct the games and their themes and pay attention to what viewpoints they’re encouraging. Pay attention to who you, the player, will have your guns pointed at most often, and why.

(Also, please please PLEASE watch Jacob Geller's excellent video, "Does Call of Duty Believe in Anything?")

And for those of us who like Makarov the character, take the time to educate yourselves on the very real things this fictional character was involved in, whether in the context of the original trilogy or the ongoing reboot. Put the present into context. Consider the role this character plays in the narrative, and why.

Do these things privately and publicly. Post about it alongside whatever else you share in fandom, whether that's art, fanfic, headcanons or meta analysis. Discuss it with your fellow fans.

I may one day come back to this blog, or I may not. Please do not hold your breath either way—this blog was a short and fun thing while it lasted, but to me, paying attention to the real world and treating these games with the gravity and depth they require is a more important use of my time. None of us are free until all of us are.

hi !! as you may have noticed, daily posts have fallen off and i havent posted in a while. ive honestly just lost a lot of motivation for this blog. doing art everyday for about 100 days and only missing a couple days kinda takes it out of you.

as much as i still love the danger days universe and my followers, its just been like. really hard to even open a drawing app or pick up a pen or anything. school will also be picking back up again next month, so even if i tried to start doing daily art again, id have to stop in order to keep up with work and adjust to a new schedule.

im hoping to return before the end of this year (and requests currently in my inbox will be priority to complete). i hope you guys understand <3

TLDR: Hiatus until further notice.

Currently, I'm fed up with how things are going with the RPC. I do know that this time of year is a slow time. However, when the invisibility became a daily occurrence for me, this season became the straw that broke my back.

I did something reckless and maybe stupid due to my own hurt and insecurity which was I purged my whole followers list via soft block. I only hard-blocked those who were using my blog as a resource blog.

The partners I've purged either never shown interest in my OC or haven't been active in over a year. I kept those who had either shown genuine interest in my original character or I'm too sentimental to let go, but as of now, it's less than 10 people if I got my math correct.

I did think about deleting this blog for a fresh restart, but I think there may be too much history for me to do that. It's almost ten years old. It kinda feels too late to back out now. I also wouldn't know what to rename the blog if someone claims lcstkey before I could remake it.

There's a good chance I'll return because I love my OC, but there will be changes. I'll likely update my rules to make this blog private and selective. I'm on the fence about whether to bother promoting this blog to focus on interacting with the interested people and fleshing out my character via drabbles and headcanons I've yet to write. Plus, some drawings I've yet to finish.

So yeah, I'm going to step away for a bit.

Short Hiatus

Hello everyone. I'll try to keep this short.

My heart goes out to all those hurting from loss. It is always tragic to have a young person pass away.

I won’t burden anyone with how I’m feeling right now.

Before hearing the news, I had already been planning to take a short break from this blog while I travel with my sister. I had attempted to do something similar a year ago, and I thought trying again would do me some good. Lord knows I could spend less time on my phone. With what's happened, I've decided to just take some time to breathe and extend the hiatus I was already going to take.

I will most likely pop up here and there during this break. Tumblr has been a safe place for me for a few years now, and while I don't feel okay scrolling as it is currently, I think I will find myself in a better headspace soon.

If you need me at all, for any reason, you can dm me. I'll be logging in every couple of days to make sure my account doesn't get terminated.

I am back home on June 4th.

Regarding fics featuring Moon Bin:

Personally, it feels disrespectful to write fanfiction about a person who has passed, however, I also do not want to erase all traces of him from here. Existing fics will stay up unless I feel strongly enough to remove them at any point, and no new ones will be written.

Because of this, Been There, Done That and subsequently Shoot Your Shot will be discontinued until further notice. Moon Bin was in SYS and was going to play a much larger role in the upcoming Aromatic, but I cannot go through with it. I'm sure most wouldn't want me to go through with it. I can barely stand talking about it like this… If I feel up to it, I may someday restructure BTDT to exclude Astro. This may take some time.

I’m taking a semi-hiatus

The last few days weren’t the best for me, and I understand I went way too far with my criticisms of Adrien. While I felt like I needed to make my points clear, I am fully aware that my own personal bias got in the way, and in a way, made me no better than Astruc himself. I just feel like I need a little break from all the negativity surrounding the stuff I talk about.

This isn’t the end, however. Something I’ve been thinking about these past few months is starting a different sideblog focused more on tokusatsu, something I’m just as passionate about, and a topic I can be more positive making posts on. My plan is to start that side blog and run it for a few weeks to maybe a month or two, and hopefully by then, I can be in a better state of mind to talk about Miraculous Ladybug again.

Of course, you might have a few questions floating through your head about the future.

"Can you specify what you've genuinely regretted saying in the drama?"

Mainly just how hard I’ve been on Adrien and his fans compared to Marinette, showing some double standards on my part.

"What will be covered on your new sideblog?"

Tokusatsu shows. I’m still working on the specifics of it, but my plan is to cover stuff like Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Ultraman.

"Will things beyond tokusatsu be covered there as well?" 

Probably not. Maybe I’ll review a Precure season or two there, but tokusatsu is going to be the main subject there. It’s just something I’m a huge fan of.

"Will Miraculous Ladybug be mentioned there on occasion or do you wish to keep it out of the blog until further notice?" 

I might make a passing reference to it here and there (the current Super Sentai season also has a black animal-themed hero who’s unintentionally kept out of the loop, so there’ll probably be jokes there), but I’m not going to make any serious criticisms or potshots against the show.

"Are you still going to follow new episodes of Miraculous Ladybug during the hiatus or will those be avoided as well?"

I’ll probably keep up with them to take notes on before I come back, but I won’t outright be avoiding them.

"Will your inbox still be open?"

It will. When I come back, I plan to go through any asks I get.

"Will this mean that the Season 4 rewrite will be delayed?"

Unfortunately, yes. I’m sorry to anyone who was looking forward to it, but I feel like this is for the best.

"Are you sure you'll be able come back to doing IOTA? When or if the hiatus ends, what do you think you'll do with both blogs?"

I’ll probably focus on longer-term projects for the sideblog, like reviewing longer shows compared to the episode-by-episode reviews I do for Miraculous Ladybug.

"Should we do something about this debate you've gone through? "Shouldn't we call out Adrien fans for this?"

Please don’t. This was clearly my fault for snapping, and I don’t want to blame anyone for this. I made this decision based on snapping at Adrien fans, and I don’t want anyone else to make the same mistakes I did.

Just to be clear, this isn’t goodbye, and I’m not running away. I just need a little time to clear my head so I can be better at covering this kind of content.

A lil update from me! Apologies for the wall of text 🙈

Lots of things happening on this blog lately but I’ve been a bit mia 😅 I’ve mentioned it before but I don’t think everyone knows that I am currently about 9 months pregnant 🤰 This week will be my last at work before I go on a year long parental leave so i have been preparing for and training my substitute which has been a lot!

Anyway since i am due any minute now I have slowed down my queue to one post a day of my disney legacy. Which brings me to one of the big things that’s happened here lately, Johnny in Del Sol Valley has actually wrapped up! 🎉 I just wanted to give a huge thanks to everyone that has been following this story that I made, and just know that every single like and comment you guys have given me has meant so much 😭 I’ve always had so many stories in my head but never ever shared anything so to finally share something like this and see other people finding it entertaining has really been a dream 🥺💕 I do plan to eventually do more things involving these guys, but haven’t started anything just yet. But I’ll hint that I have ideas for both their future and their past 👀

The other update is that the globetrotter boys, Vlad and George, have wrapped up in Granite Falls and will be moving on with their travels! 🌴 However I haven’t had time to play any further with them so they will have to go on a bit of a hiatus until further notice 🙈

So that means that things here is going to slow down a bit, and at least for a while all you will see from here is my disney legacy. Hope that’s okay 💕

semi-hiatus

The Intelligence Networking Division (also commonly referred to as IND or Indigo) is, in fact, VERY much involved with the gravel wars. Their news broadcast, radio show, magazine and yes- this very blog are all a front for what they actually do.

IND Is a subdivision of BLU that specializes in capturing intelligence, so you will often see them in Turbine, Double Cross, Sawmill, Landfall, and most of all- 2Fort.

Despite being such a specialized team, IND mercenaries aren't exactly known for taking their jobs very seriously. Instead, they are what you may call "friendlies"- Slacking off and having fun with enemy REDs since none of the higher ups pay attention to them very often.

Louis Boucher, the team's scout and current one and only host of this blog, is a Québécois university student who unfortunately found himself stuck in New Mexico with a mercenary job to pay off the enormous amounts of debt he has. He has a huge interest in robotics, and practices photography in his spare time.

Hello nice to meet you. I'm Kimira and this blog is going to be about the roles reversal couple Yeonwoo and Haesol from the manhwa Yeonwoo's Innocence.

I Write fanfiction for the main couple (aka Yeonsol) and post whatever thoughts that come up about them.

I would love more people to join me on my journey with my current and hopefully long-term obsession.

I'm the only person here right now but I hope that I can grow this community and bring more people into this small fandom.

Summary: Haesol wasn't good at feelings. She's been this way since childhood. So when Yeonwoo confesses to her, and to her surprise she can't bring herself to reject him. Summary: It all started with a simple game of volleyball. Because of a simple game of volleyball, Yeonwoo now was faced with a choice Say yes to Haesol go to her place... or push through with his punishment of her previous actions. Of course, he would go into the wolves' den.

Sweeter Than Honey, Brighter Than The Sun

Summary: Haesol comes home and she's not ok. Luckily she has her beautiful husband Yeonwoo to kiss and comfort her.
