➪ a/n: some random vday hcs because I wanted to celebrate it with finally writing something today!! I picked characters that matched the aesthetic or meaning of the day (also I wanted to be self indulgent for once and picked perona)! it's all kinda dumb but I haven't written much lately so it's something

➪ includes: Perona, Sanji & Corazon (w/ a gn! reader)

Perona

The quickest way to her heart is gift giving, her love language is just that alongside acts of service thrown in. That doesn’t sound hard when it comes to gift giving but picking out the perfect plushie when it feels like she owns every single one that may exist can be a bit a complicated

But if you find your way into the ghost princess’s heart anything from you can make her day, as long as there’s love behind it. Even the most generic Valentines stuffed bear can mean a lot when it’s you giving it to her, especially when she can tell that you just thought it was the cutest thing ever when you picked it out

She spends hours in her room with glitter glue and all the art supplies she can find whilst living with Mihawk, a paper taped to her door telling everyone to stay out as she works. She has an eye for cute things and already has a love for all the Valentines colors, so she knows what she’s doing when it comes to what she’s making

Perona will cook for you both, but she’s much more concerned about making sweets for you two than anything that could actually be considered a meal. Chocolates, cookies and a bottle of a sweet, pink fizzy drink for you both to drink alongside your snacks are set aside for you two

Valentines normally becomes a self care day for the two of you, dates are fun but Perona likes her alone time with just you. And she gets an excuse to kick the others out and have them stay away from you two. You can paint each others nails, dress up in fun comfy clothes and eat to your heart's content

Curling up together among her many many plushies and fluffy blankets is a must when you watch a movie together, in her arms she clutches the new plushie close to her chest as she snuggles closer in your arms. Her hair smells like bubblegum and she always feels so warm in your arms

Sanji

It's not Valentines without him cooking for you. Food is his love language no matter what, whether it's platonic love for his friends when he always makes sure they're well fed and healthy to romantic love when it comes to you, making you the most intricate and delicious meals tailored to your palate

He's up and ready to go early, with his pink apron on and the ingredients set out. He invites you into the kitchen with him to keep him company as he cooks, always calling you over to the counter to try what he's making. Even when he knows it tastes perfectly he wants your input

He has everything planned perfectly, filled with plenty of fun surprises and cute things for the two of you. When you’re in the kitchen with him he’ll have music playing as they two of you talk, occasionally pulling you over to him so the two of you can slow dance together

He takes the lead, a bit more experienced with it but moving slowly and clearly for you to pick up on his movements. His foot will lightly tap yours whenever he wants you to take a step to the side, his grip on you changing so he can pull you alongside him, the two of you gliding on the floor

The kitchen timer going off pulls the two of you from your dance but even despite being the perfectionist he is with cooking, he can’t help but dip you close to the floor and lean in to kiss you on your lips, scooping you up to set you on the kitchen counter so he can tend to the food

Candles are lit and your food is set out perfectly for you both, your drink filled and he pulls your chair out for you to sit down. He loves this moment where the two of you just get talk, a napkin always ready so he can wipe any spilled food from your face and a spoonful of food to feed to you

Corazon

For a man who is a complete mess he’s very intent on making you handmade gifts for Valentines, he fears he’s a bad gift giver so he resorts to making things because they’ll always be something sweet in gifting something someone made all on their own

You’ll know exactly what he’s making though, they’ll always be glitter plastered to his shirts yes plural he spilled it once, got changed then spilled it again or little bits of construction paper or different fabrics accidentally glued to his clothes. Yet he’s so certain he’s doing a grand job at keeping the secret from you

Corazon will buy you flowers because he loves them just as much, they’re all so pretty and bright just like you are to him. He’s a very good listener so you if you’ve ever ever mentioned your favorite flowers he already has them scribbled down in a little notepad for when he goes to the florist

He’s so excited he’ll even bribe you into going to bed earlier the night before because he just can’t wait to give you your gifts. Once the sun rises and your rousing from your sleep he’s up and ready, rushing in with his arms filled with flowers and gifts

Ever seen those super intricate cards, where there’s little functions to them like little pop outs and struff? That’s what he put all that backbreaking work into, it took plenty of tries, lots and lots of glue and a whole bunch of patience but he managed it and is excited to share it with you.

Although he may not be the most extravagant person when it comes to planning what to do for the day, you’ll still have fun. He’s just infatuated with every second he spends with you, wanting to enjoy it to the fullest. He only gets one chance to spend his life with you, and despite how many Valentines he gets, every single one feels special with you

It's me! Hope I'm not bugging you. If you can give me a rundown of Ateez (their personalities in life), I'd love you forever! -Minty the Cookie

Okay here we go!

Starting with our beloved leader, Kim Hongjoong is the second oldest member of ateez. He’s incredibly multitalented, he can sing, he can dance, he can rap, he produces music in his studio all the time (which is why he falls asleep in a lot of places. He exhausts himself too much).

Also something very special of note since debut, Hongjoong has had his one pinky painted in support of the painted man campaign, a campain that encourages men to paint one of their nails in order to raise awareness for CSA victims. I’ve seen plenty of men do this, and I love them for participating, but I’ve never seen anyone do it for as long as our leader and precious Mini Hong

Next is Park Seonghwa. He’s the oldest and the shortest member of who I have dubbed the ‘Tall Line’ (Him, Mingi, and Yunho). Seonghwa is the king of murdering visuals and the members affectionately call him Angry Bird (because of his eyebrows) and Toothless (because of his smile). Seonghwa also appears to be the ‘no nonsense’ member of the group due to his resting bitch face and such, but he’s just as much of an adorable dork as the rest of them.

Next is Jeong Yunho, Ateez’s energizer and self proclaimed ‘puppy’! Yunho is the tallest member of Ateez (some people will tell you him and Mingi are the same height. They’re wrong.), and he has the most adorable nose scrunch in the world when he smiles. Yunho is one of the members of the performance line (with Mingi and Yeosang) and he’s honestly the softest baby bean ever, please give him smooches, okay?

okay okay, next is my soft boy. My baby boy. My absolute-*cough*ahem.

Kang Yeosang is one of the visuals and performance members of Ateez. He’s a shy boy that sucks at winning games (its so sad but also so cute). His favorite thing in the world is flavored chicken and he has a big sweet tooth. He used to be a BigHit trainee (the came company as BTS and TXT) but then he left and joined KQ. He’s also been friends with Wooyoung for 5 years and they aren’t afraid to talk about it. He’s a little petty, tbh, and he likes to casually talk shit about/to the other members (in a friendly way, obviously. But this makes people lable him as ‘savage’ and I have to laugh sometimes bc if yall think that’s savage than I-). He also has the most adorable lisp and birthmark ever near his eye. You don’t see the birthmark often because it’s covered by makeup but seriously, just listen to Yeosang talk. His lisp sends me to a higher plane of existance.

Also his natural eye color is gorgeous, kk thx bye-

Next is our king of dualities, the one everyone calls ‘demon’ one second and then ‘babie’ the next, Choi San! San is honestly a jack of all trades. Main vocal, stunning visual, chaotic but wonderful performer, lOUD(tm). San is honestly just a babie whenever he’s not on stage and he has a habit of collecting plushies. The one we know of the most is a shiba inu plushie named Shiber! San also is highkey Wooyoung’s husband *cough*

Next is Mr. Fix On, himself, Song Mingi! Mingi is the only other rapper of Ateez alongside Hongjoong. He’s the second tallest member of the group, another member of the performance line, and he’s full of energy at all times. Unfortunately, baby boy has been out on injury shortly after this era began, so any recent ateez videos you watch won’t have Mingi in it, since he’s resting. But please love him with all your heart, okay?

Now we have the one ‘in charge of the sexiness in the group’ even tho they’re all sexy wtf, Jung Wooyoung. Okay so remember how I said Yeosang was a BH trainee and then he left for KQ? Guess what? Wooyoung’s friendship and love for Yeo was so strong that he actually followed him to KQ. He said he wanted to debut with his friend and even if they failed, they’d fail together and if that isn’t the cutest shit ever-

Wooyoung is also the epitome of baby boy culture. Small, loud(tm), very affecionate. He’s also a little sHIT and we love him for it. Wooyoung gets a good amount of visuals in mvs and choreos, and you may know him well for the little smirk and wave after the first ‘Will You Be My Friend?’ in Pirate King, or the wiping of the lips after all the boys fucking ended themselves at the end of Hala Hala. Honestly, what a legend.

and last, but not least, is Choi Jongho. Our maknae and local strong boi(tm). Jongho is one of the main vocals and his nickname is “the maknae that’s not really the maknae” because out of all of these crackheads, he’s definately on the more mature side of the spectrum. (Don’t be fooled completely tho, he’s got the chaos energy in him, too). Jongho has some wicked powerful vocals to accompany the fact that he can probably break you with a finger flick to the forehead. He’s also known as the “real life fruit ninja” because, like....he breaks fruit apart (mostly apples) with his bare fucking hands. Showoff.

Kumon doesn't actually go to reddit, he just tries his best to be alert during an Instablam live.

“Are there any more Sankaku-kun dolls? Lots! At night, I would cuddle them with Kumon-”

“Yeah! We each have our own army of Sankaku-kun plushies! Yuki made a pattern and we made a bunch over the weekend. They’re so soft and I go to sleep hugging them!” Kumon hopes the smile on his face is convincing enough to the viewers. He’s not the best actor of the company, but he has improved by leaps since The First Crush Baseball days.

And well, he’s technically not lying. They do have a good number of Sankaku-kun plushies and Kumon does go to sleep, several tucked in his arms. What he doesn’t say is that Misumi is also latched onto Kumon like an octopus as they spoon in the same bed. And that has been the case for the past few weeks since they have gotten together.

Wow! ∆ That must be so comfy and cute! ∆

Whew. Another close call.

Kumon is the type that cannot keep in his adoration for someone. He doesn’t mind being called a bro-con or any variation of it despite the insulting intents behind it (well, in Yuki’s case, he’s just being Yuki and not purposefully mean) because to him, it means that everyone understands how much he looks up to Juza and how proud he is to be his little brother.

The world deserves to know just how great of a brother Juza is after all.

In the same way, he wants to shout to the world that he’s in love with Misumi and his feelings are fully reciprocated! He wants to show off that his boyfriend is the sweetest, and kindest, and the most dedicated person he knows. He wants to create matching triangular items just for the two of them, or maybe even sport jackets! Believe him, it would be a great relief if he would be able to tell everyone.

But at the same time, thinking that people would know about them and would judge them is utterly terrifying. Kumon is not scared of ghosts that may or may not exist. Kumon is scared of the pressure people put on him, all their expectations and wants for him. He knows that he cannot please everyone and he's been getting better about handling it, but he cannot bear the thought of anyone slandering Misumi because of him.

And as much as Misumi slips up about it (understandable, as he too is one that never contains his excitement for anything), he understands where Kumon is coming from and has agreed about keeping their relationship on the down low for now. Not even the rest of Mankai, save for Kazunari and Juza, know that they have started dating.

The time for them to come out about it will come one day, and Kumon hopes the moment will leave his heart light and ready to burst, just like when Misumi told him he liked him too.

“What if I started to like someone who didn’t like triangles? Oh! That’s not a problem since-”

“S-Since Sumi-san can easily convert them! I mean how can you hate triangles after meeting Sumi-san? It’s impossible!”

Misumi covers his mouth with both of his hands and nods accordingly, probably spotting his mistake once again.

He does two thumbs up and then meets them together, creating a small triangle with his hands. It’s so endearing that Kumon almost forgets himself.

Oops, no longing stares! People can easily record this and find out! Right, he must remain vigilant! This is for both him and Misumi’s sakes!

“Wow, this is a whole disaster.” The ‘Blam live that the 203 roommates do is such a poor attempt on trying to hide their relationship that Itaru wonders if he should do them all a favor and reveal how obvious it is to everyone else – well, sans people like Azami (who is one of Kumon’s closest friends but almost never registers anything romantic as romantic) and Tasuku (who thankfully did not realize all the come-ons Kazunari had been doing prior to the two of them instead getting closer).

Kazunari, sitting in between Itaru’s legs and playing with Itaru’s Switch, shifts to turn and look at him, eyes narrowed. “Itarun, do you know something?”

In Itaru’s defense, Kumon isn’t as slick as he believes he and Misumi to be. Their blatant flirting and googly eyes at each other leave little doubt as to what they are. However, since it hasn’t been officially announced by the two, most of the other theater members have opted to turn a blind eye to let them come out about it in their own time.

Despite not paying attention, Kazunari clearly heard Misumi and Kumon’s distinct voices boom from Itaru’s phone. Kazunari is probably helping the duo keep it a secret so it might be best not to confirm any of his suspicions.

Itaru avoids his gaze, deciding to linger on the game console’s screen instead. “Absolutely not. I haven’t the slightest idea what you’re talking about. Hey, if you want this route, you gotta choose this option.”

“Wait, Itarun! No spoilers!”
