Since the day he laid eyes on you, his mind was painted with pictures of you - of you with him. He didn't do much to draw your attention to him other than smile at you and greet you when you saw each other in the same coffee shop every day.

A few times you've sat with each other, talking about general stuff - music, art and even sometimes diving into personal stuff but never deep enough to get a scratch off the other's life without pushing past too many boundaries.

In that same coffee shop, he planted himself next to the door with a coffee in hand, daydreaming as he stared at the door and hoping you'd walk in at any given moment.

Though no matter how long he's already waited, he wasn't going to leave until he saw your smile.

"Earth so Cheol," his friend, Zack sings out to him whilst clicking his fingers in front of his face and attempting to get his attention back in the room, "She's probably not going to turn up".

Seungcheol comes out of his trance with a small smile on his face, taking a sip of his coffee before facing his friend.

He sighs when he realises his friend could be right, "I'm counting flower petals all day, every day. Wondering, does she love me? Does she not?".

"Normally I'm not like this, but there's something about her that draws me in. Every time I look at her face, I feel like I'm in love all over again," he continues, relieved that his friend offers a friendly smile and open ears and knowing this isn't easy for him to confess.

As his friend was about to say something else, he notices you walking through the door, scoping around the room before heading to join the queue.

"Go get your girl, tiger," Zack smiles with a raised eyebrow, darting his eyes to the queue for Seungcheol to take notice of your presence, "I'll leave you to it".

Zack makes a move, taking another seat to give them privacy, not bothered about it too much as the book in his bag calls for him anyway.

His heart skips a beat the minute he recognised you in the queue, nervously bouncing his leg as he patiently waits for you to finish getting your order.

The way his heart goes from skipping a beat to racing the minute your eyes connect with his, that angelic smile warms up his cheek as they start to turn rosy.

You make your way over to him, offering a happy smile as you take a seat next to him, giving and receiving warm welcomes and hellos.

"I- uh-" he chokes, wondering whether or not this was the right time to say anything about his feeling but he was so scared that he'd scare you off.

The reassuring smile that you flash him makes him feel at slight ease, "I've got something to say," he finally announces.

Though unable to keep direct eye contact, he could tell that you were interested, and in the most respectful way as you continue to smile at him.

"What I wanted to say is... I want to gather all the pretty words and give them to you, but that'll be too impossible as there are so many," he nervously lets those words roll off of his tongue as he again makes another attempt at eye contact.

The words make your eyes widen slightly, as blush forms its way onto your cheeks, unable to say anything but smile at him as you've always had.

You've always found him intriguing, sweet and such a handsome polite guy, and thought you'd never be lucky enough to have his attention that way.

"You're pretty. When I see you, it's breathtaking," he adds as his nervousness starts to show clearly.

As he continues, you couldn't help but giggle at his nature of how sweet he was, knowing this couldn't have been easy for him. But his words pulled at your heartstrings.

"Cheol, you're so sweet... You're breathtaking too," you shyly admit, in awe the minute his smile widens and the blush turns bright pink on his cheeks.

"I'm... sorry. If I'm being too forward," he says in an almost whisper, but loud enough for you to hear, "I wanted to show you myself without hiding anything".

You couldn't help but sip at your coffee with the biggest grin on your own face, being just as shy as he was. You thought it would be awkward at this point but you shared a moment of silence, just looking at each other, letting all of this sink in.

"Would- You like to go on a date?" He breaks the silence, confidence up a lot more at the sight of you in awe of him, very happy when you nod in agreement.
