20 thousand pairs of shoes, over 150 thousand pieces of clothing — maybe even more. 😍 We got to see the costume department of the #DeutscheOper in Berlin and were treated to a behind the scenes look at all the effort and logistical genius that goes into each production. . We were floored, to say the least. From the number of shoes ballerinas go through in a season to the meticulously-crafted clothes and props that bring the stage to life each time. One cut, so many different looks. Which one do you like best? ☺️ . Had another one of my big, epic haircuts recently. I love going from long to short just like that *snaps*. Makes things a little more exciting. 😉 . I often get told about how good I am in changing my look just by altering my hairstyle and lipstick colour. Some people I’ve known forever even have to take a second look to make sure it’s really me sometimes — especially if I’m a bit far or if we’re meeting in a crowded area. 😂 Seriously. Another career option for me is definitely international spy. If only I could get better at stopping my facial expressions from showing everyone what I really think or how I feel, I could prolly go Atomic Blonde. But alas, this Brunette is always a little too obvious. 😂 . Used the @dysonhair AirWrap for the first and last photo to create waves and to smoothen out the hair while creating volume. [Filter/No Filter] Throwback to the first time I tried the @dysonhair #AirWrap. Produced a salon-quality blow out in 35 minutes, learning curve included. 🤩 Definitely my perfect #GadgetMatch. 😉 . I often joke about how I have bionic hair as it grows ever so swiftly. I often chop it short and wait it for it to grow long enough to make each trip to the salon worth it. “No Photos on the Dance Floor! Berlin 1989 — Today” is an exhibit I really enjoyed with @uteschirmack a couple of weeks back. We went to @coberlin on a windy evening to witness its opening and celebrate @barkinkitchen’s take over of the gallery’s café. I left with a better perspective and appreciation of Berlin’s party scene — way beyond what I already saw in Berghain the few times I’ve been. 👶🏻 . Berlin’s clubbing scene is not like any other. Shaped by history and fueled by the desire to rebel, escape, and express feelings that were out the norm at a time when there was new-found freedom all over the city. Today, Berlin remains to be a city where you can be who you want to be. . It’s one of the exhibits I think people in Berlin should see in time for the 30th anniversary of the Fall of the Wall on 9 November. It runs until the 30th of this month. . My niece, Dakota — another Danish-Filipino baby in our family — obviously made the cut. 😉 I love play time, carrying her, and picking out clothes! This yearly tradition of ours to see the opening of Berlin’s Festival of Lights is something I always look forward to. 💖 . My favourite spot is still Bebelplatz, surrounded by St Hedwig’s, the @staatsoperberlin, @humboldt.uni’s Faculty of Law, and @hotelderome which is one of my favourite places in Berlin. 💖 It’s like being surrounded with explosion of colours and the buildings are the overly-willing canvasses. .
