AHAIAHSIWHF HAIII MINUTE. CLASPS MY HANDS TOGETHER VERY POLITELY. I put Eclipse in a time loop that starts from the first day of October and restarts on the day he dies 😁 The loop can only be broken when he starts to heal from his trauma and ties up loose ends :3

So, just watched the new tsams episode and, well, my thoughts are simply, meh.

I don't hate it. I mean, I'm not thrilled but it is what it is. Honestly, I'm far more intrigued with how everyone's going to handle Eclipse. Moon's reaction was great as was Sun's and it's interesting to see how Solar has become the voice of reason during the twins breakdowns. I'm curious to see where they go.

As for Eclipse, I think there's more to it then just bringing him back (at least I hope so). I think, I hope, there's more at play here. Some current theories I think are plausible:

1. This is Lord Eclipse or some other dimensional version of Eclipse

2. Ruin made a back up Eclipse like he did with Bloodmoon

3. Eclipse has changed and is no longer just a normal animatronic

4. The Creator has something to do with this

I don't know, just throwing out some ideas. Again, Eclipse's return is just "meh" to me and I'm more interested to see the characters grow around him since I doubt Eclipse is getting a redemption arc or going to be anything other than a villian.

To those excited he's back, I'm happy for ya! For those that hate he's back, I'm sorry ya have to put up with the same thing again! In the end, I hope we all can get something satisfactory from the show.

This is just a giant soap opera to me at this point and I'm being dragged along for the ride (a positive thing for me).

Yesterday episode with Gemini and Lunar 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠ho boy on one hand I agree with alot about what Gemini said about Lunar being he doesn't try to solve his problem of trama and out right avoids trying to get help for so long now the consequences of that has now put him in danger because I have a very good feeling Taurus is pretty muder but I do feel Gemini lack of truly understanding emotions also adds to the problem like saying he a child but screaming and a child will somehow fix it but after everything that happens Gemini WILL STILL try and defend Lunar to the best of their ability and I really appreciate that about them

Honestly yeah.

Gemini feels completely betrayed, and feels as if they failed Lunar.

Gemini has actually repeated a lot of analysis and words that I have said about Lunar in the public server, which could be a coincidence, but I like to think that the actors saw what I said and yoinked it for later.

Gemini is THIS upset because they are emotionally attached to Lunar. Right now, they feel like that's a mistake.

Who knows if Lunar will actually listen and take what Gemini says to heart.

Because Lunar is really childish and a complete hypocrite of a character. Earth and Lunar were having a conversation moments before on how Lunar can approach this.

Moon even told Lunar that Eclipse might approach and antagonize him and he had to be ready for that.

Lunar held a grudge over Moon for weeks because he said "Trust your family"

What does he do?

Not trust Earth. At all. And gives into his emotions and listen to Eclipse who was bullying him.

He should have shocked Eclipse to show him his place. Maybe punched him to get some feelings out....... But continuously electrocuting him until he was nothing but ash?

Honestly... in the latest TSAMS episode, Moon does exactly what Lunar should have done to work on his issues.

NewMoon isn't letting Eclipse occupy any of his time or head space cus it's not helping him. And I think Moon feels a relief that this is the big bad Eclipse he built in his head in the one year he's been alive.

Lunar thought he would be "Free" if he killed Eclipse, not true, he had to learn how to be free in the mental sense, in just... not letting Eclipse rule over his mind anymore.

It's a tragic case of Lunar had the cards stacked in his favor with people who would help and protect him, but refused them at every oppertunity.

Gemini's call out of Lunar was well deserved, and they're doing it, because they know they are too deeply emotionally invested in Lunar and care about him.

They feel hurt, and betrayed by his actions. Which they wouldn't, if they "don't feel anything" like Lunar claimed.

And judging by how Lunar reacted after they left... Who knows if he can even process or understand what Gemini tried to tell him.

Lunar just can't cope. He can't cope with anything. He has to be the victim forever cause that's all he wants to be. Am I victim blaming Lunar? Absolutely not. But he is not the only one who suffered under Eclipse. Yet he always acts like he did. With a "Oh I'm sorry, did you blow up?"

He parades his trauma like a badge of honor. That he has trauma. That he's the most traumatized so only his feelings mater above anything else that's logical or anyone else's feelings.

People compare what Lunar did to what Sun did. And while I do think Sun can offer Lunar comfort, there is a few things missing here.

Sun killed Bloodmoon because he was antagonized, but he was also thinking of self-defense. The protection of himself and his family.

Lunar.... Was not thinking about that.

Ironic that Eclipse joked he wasn't Bloodmoon and died in a very similar mater.

Eclipse taunted Lunar. But Eclipse had a chip that prevented him from hurting anyone in the family. Lunar was told this and Earth knew this.

Lunar killed Eclipse, not out of a desire to protect himself, or his family. He killed Eclipse in revenge, in hatred. In no single instant did he think how his actions would affect Earth (WHO WAS RIGHT THERE AND WAS IGNORED AND PROBABLY FEELS HORRIBLE LIKE SHE FAILED LUNAR AND THIS IS HER FAULT THIS HAPPENED.)

Lunar didn't think about Earth, Sun, Moon, Solar. He thought of NO ONE but himself and his own satisfaction.

That's the difference.

That's what makes him a child.

And that's why he needs help.

And that's why Gemini is so furious.

And I swear to god I hope Lunar can actually understand what Gemini said to him... otherwise things will just get way harder for Lunar.

So idk if this was intentional for your Fairy AU(since it was/is a tsams au in particular) or not, but something I LOVE is that Fairy Sun seems to share that inability to deal with change that TSAMS Sun had until he started getting therapy. That trauma response of wanting so bad for things to be the way they were or supposed to be to the point that you can barely process or accept all the changes that get thrown at you.

Again, dunno if you meant to do that, but I still think that's an awesome likeness!

I will say, the only things that really make this a SAMS AU are the cast of characters, some of their relationships with one another, and personality aspects. Besides that, the AU has no other relation to the shows and many things will go in different directions. (for example, the dynamic between fairy Lunar and Eclipse will not be 100% the same as SAMS Lunar and Eclipse)

That being said, some responses to situations might be similar, albeit are usually based on how I myself would react to things if I were in their shoes. Sundrop, being the little guy he is, is going through a lot of drastic changes. Being completely separated from Moon for the first time, Eclipse being free and past baggage coming with him, being forced out of his home, and now the incident with Juniper's stone. He's struggling to keep up. In-universe, the solar eclipse was only 9 days ago.

So while there may be similar connections here and there between the show and the AU, most are purely coincidental ^^' (like Lunar getting his arm broken, I had that planned in the story before the episode even aired QwQ)

my thoughts on solar's death, an essay

OKAY WOW (TSAMS "GOODBYE SOLAR? IN VRCHAT" Ep spoilers! This is gonna be long..

First of all, wow! 10/10! The red herring of Sun being next to die and then Solar dying as a big arc finale plot twist? Amazing! The lore reasoning? Makes sense besides a question that I have that will be at the end of this rant! Ruin? 10/10! Holy fuck this man has committed genocide x5000 in order to save everyone from the creator. Road to hell is paved with good intentions after all! And by God, the agony in Moon's voice was heartbreaking... This was by far the best and most heartbreaking episode of recent times.

With that said, Ruin, you are a Villian of all time. Love love love how he's lawfully evil! And since he had no reason to lie as it stood to reason this would be his final bow, it seems like at first he tried. He tried to prevent all the unnecessary casualties of this plan. He tried to save everyone but the creator, including Solar. But unfortunately he couldn't see how. So he decided to sacrifice over 5000 dimensions. He thought what he was doing was right even if it was morally despicable. Apologizing to Solar in his final moments will be the only relief he can get with that amount of blood on his hands.. If he even feels guilty about anyone but solar's death.

And Moon, allowing him to live? Eclipse was killed for less. But allowing Ruin to live, even if imprisoned, shows he's trying not to let his emotions get the best of him. To not make impulsive decisions, which honestly shows growth.. Moon will be messed up about this for a while, and when Lunar finds out the man who helped him process partially his trauma with Eclipse, who has been nothing but supportive and caring and honestly, the best brother he's had, is dead.. I don't know how he's gonna react because it feels like every part of his life is falling apart.. And when earth finds out she'll be devastated too.

This episode was very good at not only giving everyone a gut punch of angst, but explaining everything in a way that makes sense, besides a few things.

1) With this newfound power vacuum, and the mass extinction of thousands of dimensions, this has have a loooot of repercussions later.

2) correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Puppet's dimension also collapse? How come Solar died but Puppet didn't?

TSAMS THEORY TIME

Okay, absolutely wild guess, but.....if Eclipse about to have a redemption arc??? IDK, it's probably just me. I wasn't hoping for one, but.... he's killed before. But, seeing everyone's reaction and grief towards Solar's death....what if he was trying to bring Solar back?

Last TSAMS lore episode, Eclipse literally went to check the spot where Solar died. Why would he do that? This is the only explanation I can think of.

Maybe this is his first time seeing how people react to someone they care about dying, and he did not like it? Earth was crying, Moon was flat out numb...no one was their normal self. They were able to justify life without revenge.....IDK, maybe Eclipse just got to feeling emotions, and wanted to check is Solar could come back?

I have no actual evidence for this, I just was thinking about why he could do that, and this was the only thought I had.

But that'd be CRAZY right?

Shit my first time doing this, uhhhh-

OK so! I've been watching tsams since the end of August of 2023 and honestly, I don't know what the fuck is going on at this point!

I stopped watching gaming vids (with some exceptions) just so I can focus on the lore and I am still lost! I forget details very easily myself, so when somebody points out something from a video (especially an older one), I'm like : "oh shit, for real?" 'cuz I don't know how to react otherwise-

But I also notice a few details during lore episodes (especially older ones) that (just maybe) we're forgottened by accident? Or something?? Maybe it's intentional that they're left alone and never spoken about again? I don't know. Sometimes, it does tie back to a certain event or a thing a character has said but doesn't always get executed properly in the show-

And so I have detached myself from these characters for the most part because of this and decided to just listen to the people making theories here and ONLY watch the lore vids. I have agreed in the past and even now that Eclipse deserves redemption and it's so irritating how in the story he's still shown acting the exact same way with no development! In the present, I get why he's like this, cuz he's a copy, but also: HE'S A COPY! Does that make sense?! He could change cuz he ain't the same old guy; but it isn't surprising if he DOESN'T either! He was built to act like his original. Use the same old bad habits that he 'remembers' doing once..

..But it would be so interesting if, somewhere in the future, he cracks a little and shows something more different! Maybe he's too insane for that to happen now and he's mainly trying to do what he's already familiar with from the get-go still. You see this sort of behaviour in other characters too. But still; I think it would be so cool and would add nuance to him (current version) that he isn't all just evil and/or insane (ying yang bullshit) and has no chance to change AT ALL!

Also, no more new characters I think (there's too many)! The current ones should already be focused on more instead of adding new ones for the sake of angst and stuff and at such a quick pace! Their dynamics, habits, everything should be further explored more (with less drama and better/more development instead)! It would add so much detail to the full picture instead of doing it like this!! That doesn't mean I don't want a new character to make sense of the narrative or help it, it's just that it gets so chaotic so fast (physically in their life and the stuff around them)! Or maybe that's just me idk.

I haven't checked every corner of this fandom and I don't plan to either. Too much stuff going on. I'm sure others will either agree or disagree with me. Maybe both. Doesn't mean it isn't fun to watch/participate in sometimes! It just gets too dramatic at one point when it's all fictional characters in a fictional world and, apparently, artists are getting flunked over by other fans for certain ships and/or opinions and headcanons which is not good! So yeah... (other people have talked about it already so I won't go into further detail myself).

This was nice doing at 2:32 in the morning by the way, it's refreshing! I'll probably do it again in the future.

(maybe not at this hour hopefully and with an english test ahead that I haven't studied for properly cuz I'm a massive dummy :">)
