Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ᥫ᭡ 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄: okay! I’ve re-written so many fics for Tsireya in hopes to make a good series and i hope that this one will settle my need! (reader is lo’ak’s twin sister!<3)
ᥫ᭡ 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒: You catch Tsireya’s eye- and from that moment on you are her focus- as the same happens when you see her. Of course love blossoms quickly with the friendly Metkayina, even if you both don’t understand the deeper meaning.
Tumblr media
On pandora, love was an important concept. True love; real or not, meant the world to both the na’vi who harbored the feelings and those who bore witness to such. With clan leaders such as the olo'eyktan and tsahìk, their children are more likely to be put into arranged marriage’s.
To you, love wasn’t exactly something you were looking forward to. from a young age, you weren’t being trained to be the future tsahìk by your grandmother, Mo’at, as your sister Kiri has filled that role. You weren’t taking after your father as olo'eyktan, hence you did not spend time becoming a warrior like your brother, Neteyam. You felt as though you and your twin brother, Lo’ak, were being shoved in the middle between the eldest children and the younger child with no responsibilities to fulfill other than watch dog and babysitter. Your life in the forest was not filled with responsibilities to uphold or successes to achieve- and even when the sky people returned and your clan had to retreat to the hidden rocks of the hallelujah mountains- labeled High camp, your job was to watch over Tuk and listen to your grandmother and sister- although Tuk took an interest in Tsahìk medicine and had spent her time away, learning with mo’at and kiri. Lo’ak was still a watch dog, yet this time he was able to leave High Camp to join the war party with your older brother, the two spending much time together. You felt out of place, there was no duty for you to fulfill, and you weren’t raised to talk about who you were to marry like Neteyam and Kiri were.
Love was not a factor you’d thought much about, it was not in your mind- ever. You were too busy staying alive.
but, to young Tsireya, who is to succeed in her mother’s footsteps of becoming tsahìk, being forced to marry someone she did not know nor care for was something she’d hoped to never experience.
to the young tsakarem, love was a beautiful thing. Something special between two people that blossoms in the first few interactions of one another, it was a thing that lasts forever. being an important na’vi mostly gave Tsireya freedom to choose only men from her clan when she came of age if she did not find someone on her own sooner in her life. As the metkayina got older, she slowly discovered that it was not the male’s of the clan that her eyes were drawn to- it was the females. Their beautifully weaved chest pieces, their wonderful long hair, the softness of their eyes and smoothness of their tone- the feeling of a woman’s hand on Tsireya had her heart beating in a nervous, unfamiliar rhythm.
It was not that Tsireya did not find male’s in her clan to be unattractive, it is that the women had pulled her in closer. They’d caught her eyes away from the males and she didn’t know why. Her whole life, her mother and father had told her to find a mate, someone who could provide safety and children for her to bare, to create the next generation of leaders in Awa’atlu after her.
Tsireya could not mate with a woman. Hence, her internal conflict with herself lead to great confusion and irritation in the subject of future affairs. The tsakarem’s parents were due to notice their daughters reluctant attitude towards the subject of marriage, which was labeled as growth of the age and mood swings unlike any other. her parents had little idea of her troubles, and Tsireya couldn’t rely on anyone- not even her older brother, Ao’nung. This left her to swim in her feelings alone, wondering how she was to succeed as Tsahìk and lead a clan without a male by her side as she was raised to the accustomed idea.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
Tsireya’s day in her home, awa’atlu, had started off relatively normal- the bright planet that lit up pandora showing itself after hours of hiding- village life starting early at the sight of light.
She’d gone for a deep water dive, small pocket on her skirt in hopes to find shells to make jewelry with. But, her plans were ultimately abandoned when the sight of five, unfamiliar flying creatures flew overhead. Tsireya was confused at first by the sudden darkness from below the sea floor, but curiosity came moments after. The young reef girl called an ilu to her stead, sliding on the sea creature and making her way to the shore of her island. As she came from the water, The sight of her people crowding dark blue figures caught her eye.
Awa’atlu’s tsakarem was a curious girl, so Tsireya wasted no time in slipping off her Ilu and making her way over to the scene. The reef girl moved chunks of her curly black hair from a front her face, gently tossing it behind her head while scanning the area- when Her ocean blue’s caught sight of bright green ones already looking her way. She was fascinated by the color- she’d never seen green eyes on someone before. Continuing forward slowly, she adjusted her gaze to fixate on whose eyes they were.
Ocean eyes looked to the face of the alluring, bright greens. They belonged to a forest na’vi girl- and a beautiful one at that. the girls hair was long, half-braided with flower adoring the twirls of hair and hidden places behind her ears and braids as they cascade down her back while two shorter strands encased her face- she wore a short, woven shawl decorated with flowers and vines from the trees of pandora, her hips bore a brightly colored, slanted skirt alongside a brown, leather pouch and plants- and her tail had a flower vine woven around the top.
Tsireya had been so caught up in staring at the Ometikaya, she hadn’t realized her brother and his friend speaking rude words. She quickly divided her attention to the disrespectful boys, slapping the arm of a pointing Metkayina. “Rotxo, Ao’nung.” she needent finish her sentence, her tone being enough to shut down their insults towards the forest people.
Her gaze flickered back to the dark blue skinned girl, finding her already looking in her direction. Something about her eyes was strange, almost as though she could get lost in them just by looking. There was an unfamiliar feeling in her chest as they continued to connect their eyes, a different kind of sensation inside her. Almost alike to a flickering flame, tickling the wall of her heart as her Ocean like eyes stared into forest green ones.
Tsireya’s attention was torn from you when her father flew overhead on a Skimwing, causing you and the others of your family to duck in sight of a rather large animal above you.
the interaction between her father and yours was rather short, until her mother came along. Tsireya knew that her mother was very hard headed, a fierce woman who had no trouble speaking her mind and opinions to whom she found worthy of her voice- so she knew that as Tsahìk, she would be against allowing forest na’vi to stay with them, especially in this time of war.
although there were nasty words and disagreements spewing between the two groups, Tsireya was paying little attention to it all. Her gaze was fixated on you the whole time. Watching you, curiously eyeing you with an unreadable expression. Surely you were to have noticed, right? Tsireya had thought that perhaps she was being too obvious- but, while her blue eyes stare holes into you, you seemed unbothered- focused on what was ahead of you.
The tsakarem’s focused attention was torn when her older brother tagged her arm in motion for her to follow him as the olo'eyktan motioned them over after minutes of conflict between him and ronal.
“My son ao’nung, my daughter tsireya will show your children what to do.” Tsireya was ecstatic about the prospect of teaching you her ways and sharing with you her life- happy to have the opportunity to be an ocean teacher to those who are as unfamiliar with the sea as you, and she had the opposite reaction to the news as her defiant brother, Ao’nung- as he put up protest. “but father, do i have to?-“
“it is decided.” At that queue, Tsireya stepped forward with a wide smile on her face and looked to you, who seemed to be bashful about the situation as she took your hand in hers in welcome, speaking to you and your family. “Come, i will show you our village.”
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
You and your siblings followed the reef girl around the village after she assisted your family in delivering their belongings to the new marui you were granted space with, your mother not very happy about the change.
Tsireya was pointing out many things to you all as you walked in the clear sand, shells poking from the small pellets every now and than. You were quite oblivious to the stares and glances you got from the chiefs daughter, her eyes constantly moving to look at you. She just seemed so friendly youd not noticed her constantly, unmoving gaze.
Your sister had noticed, though. As Kiri noticed many things about the way she looked to you and no one else.
“Come, we shall swim!” her tone was cheerful as she, her brother and the other village boy, Rotxo, dived into the clear water below a marui net. Your brothers followed suit as well- you and your sisters right after.
The water was cold on your skin at first- a chill running through your body for a split moment at the sudden change in temperature before it was normal- your eyes taking a moment to adjust to the underwater view as you followed alongside Lo’ak, who was latching onto you for stability. Even as a twin, he still latched onto you as you did him. You, lo’ak, neteyam and tuk followed after the Metkayina children underneath the water, the view from below the sea line was beautiful.
You watched with amazement as all kinds of small fish and sea animals swam around you all, hundreds of animal variety unlike any you’ve ever seen. The coral of the ocean was rough against your skin as you pushed on it for a boost through the heavy water. You looked down to see tsireya twist to view you, a big smile on her dimpled face as she watched you swim. Lo’ak pointed to them as words to follow them, of to which you did. watching the metkayina swim was like seeing a bird fly, they were such beautiful swimmers, you coming help but admire them. Lo’ak nudged your shoulder and you looked to him momentarily before you both began to swim towards the surface, heads releasing from the seas grasp as you gasp for air.
You stuck your face in the water, eyes looking down and meeting the ones who seem to find solace on you.
Tsireya made unfamiliar motions with her hands, fingers touching and holding up signs you did not understand the meaning to. You gave her a confused look, and she only smiled; using her arm to motion for you to come back and swim with them. sticking your head back up out of the water, you looked to tuk. “ready?” you asked with a small smile, looking to her nodding face as all four of you breathed in heavily once more, diving below the water towards the sea kids.
You swam down alongside tuk, who’d find solace on your arm. The reef kids swam much faster than you and your siblings, who were gliding though the water like feathers in the air. you reached your hand out on yet another set of coral, boosting yourself and tuk off of it- perusing suite after the metkayina. The fish swam around tuk, into her hair and making her giggle underneath the water- small air bubbles leaving her nose and mouth. You smiled at the sight, missing how Tsireya smiled at the sight of you.
Neteyam tapped your shoulder, pointing up to the surface in motion. You nodded, looking to the reef children as Lo’ak gestured for you all to get air as you began to swim towards the surface. the rim of the sea and the air came to view as all four of you swam up, gasping for air. Tuk had let go of your arm, moving to latch onto Neteyam.
Rotxo, Ao’nung and Tsireya had come to surface soon after you all. “are you alright?” Tsireya’s soft voice questioned, looking to you first before scanning your siblings. “you’re too fast, wait for us!” tuk placed a hand on her forehead and you brushed some hair from her eyes.
“just breathe, breathe.” Tsireya replied, and you noticed how she blinked, her nictitating membranes showing before her brother came to surf- “you are not good divers, maybe good at swinging through trees but-”
Tsireya placed a hit to his head, shutting him up. “come on bro,” lo’ak sigh out. “we don’t speak this finger talk,” Neteyam stated, motioned with his own hand. “yeah. we don’t know what you are saying.” You added, Tsireya looking at you in the eye as she replied. “I will teach you.”
“where is kiri?” Rotxo spoke up, looking around. “who?” ao’nung asked, obvious.
“kiri. where is kiri?”
“She is fine.” you replied to his question, “she adapts fast.” You smiled at Tuk when she nodded at your statement.
“We should probably find her.” Neteyam said, looking between all of you. You all dove back into the sea, now looking for your sister.
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚
“You must breathe,” Tsireya’s instructions were clear- her left hand on her chest and her right hand on her stomach, breathing in.
“Constrict your throat, so your breath sounds like the surf.”
“Breathe in slowly -- let your mind go clear -- breathe out slowly. imagine flicking a flame.”
you looked to Tsireya’s face, sneaking a peak through your blue eyelids. You were taken aback by her beauty. You’d been unexpressive about how you felt— it was a foreign feeling, after all.
“clearer with each breath. You must slow down your heartbeat. Breathe from down here.” Tsireya almost caught your eye, as you flickered it away quickly from her gaze as she opened her eyes to view you all- your pulse increasing.
Tsireya leant forward- putting a hand on your belly and one to your chest piece. You could’ve sworn you were blushing purple at her touch- looking elsewhere from her eyes.
“Breathe in —” you struggled to follow her instructions as she was so close in proximity, ears flickered up in concentration. “breath from down here,” her fingers pressed softly at your belly, hinting you breath from your stomach. Tsireya’s eyes were focused on your stomach, “breathe out slowly.” you did as instructed, looking down to her face as you exhaled under her command, eyes flickering between the pretty features that rest on her.
“y/n.. your heartbeat is fast.” she softly said, smiling at you. “sorry.” you breathed out a reply quickly, ears flickering downward as you bashfully looked away.
“try to focus.” you nodded your head at her words, looking forward. “breathe in - - and breathe out.” You missed Neteyam and Rotxo’s teasing looks at your interaction with the reef girl, while kiri knew her suspicions were correct and rolled her eyes at the two boys’ silliness.
“let your mind go clear.” You did as told, trying to focus on anything but how close her face was to yours. “Better.” she added, her hands removing themselves from your body slowly, trailing along your skin before she sat upright.
You didn’t know what shade you were, but by the look on Kiri’s face it was not blue. Coughing softly, you awkwardly tried to regain your composure and began to truly focus on your breathing, your seat beside Tsireya becoming one of true learning.
you continuously struggled with learning the Metkayina’s breathing techniques, you aren’t understanding the motions. Tsireya finds it difficult to teach when she has such strange feelings in her chest just as much as you find it difficult to learn from her with your own feelings.
It lead to to be behind the others, all your siblings learning how to hold their breath for minutes and minutes at a time while you were left alone to struggle with your failed technique, no matter how much Tsireya tried her hardest to assist you.
a heavy sigh left your dark blue lips, feet in the warm sand of one of Awa’atlu’s many beach shores. Kiri and tuk had gone off on an Ilu, Neteyam and lo’ak adventured out into the sea as well, and you chose not to go. Moments in silence were rare for members of your family- five kids, two protective adults. Especially as a Twin, lo’ak and yourself were bound by the womb. It isn’t everyday he leaves you, especially not in a new environment such as one surrounded by the ocean.
You’d suspected that the village children had gone with your siblings- but your accusation was shot down when you felt a soft tap of a finger pad on your shoulder. Snapping from your thoughts, you turned on your heal to face who was asking your attention- and was met only inches from the face of the village chiefs daughter. She smiled at you, her dimples were fully on display as you two made eye contact on the sandy shore, and you blinked a few times before smiling back, bashful at her grin.
“why are you not with the others?” she questioned you, her hands resting by her side. You shrugged, “I don’t know. I didn’t wanna go, i guess.” You mumbled, feet slightly digging into the sand. Tsireya’s gaze was one of deep meaning, it was almost as though you were on a strange before a thousand sets of eyes- but in reality, it was one pair that felt like thousands. “I see.” Your hand was torn from behind your back as a turquoise skinned one gripped it, “Come. I will show you something,” You followed after Tsireya as she dragged you along the beach line and into the sea shore forests, look back to you occasionally to be sure you followed after her.
The trees on Awa’atlu were pushed so close together you could almost name them as a small forest- but it didn’t make the category due to the many lines of water flowing through the ground at every turn and corner. You and Tsireya stepped in many shallow water lines on your way to a place you did not know of, but ultimately going with wherever it was she was so determined to take you.
“through here,” Tsireya’s voice was soft, her words so smooth it send a chill down your back. There was a wall of bright purple leaves littered with different shades and flowers, shells by the floor as a small stream of water passed through the wall. Tsireya released your hand, the feeling of her skin being torn off yours left your wrist to feel cold, almost hollow.
You looked back to her for reassurance, making sure you weren’t to make a fool of yourself if you walk through the leaves and into a rock hard wall. Tsireya understood your confusion, smiling while she stepped ahead of you, pushing the leaves out of her way and walking through the unfamiliar entrance to an unknown place. You watched as she disappeared behind the growth, and you nervously followed after, following in her footsteps to push the plants away from your path and stepping into the darkness.
when your hands dropped the leaves that were to entrance, the light of the outside was gone and the tunnel lit up- bioluminescent plants coating the walls, the floor of the natural rock tunnel was filled with half a foot of water, algae and other minerals littered on the ground of to which lit up the pathway. Tsireya smiled at your expression, wonder. “here,” she took your hand in hers, gently pulling you beside her. “I will show you more.” this time, you decided to hesitantly hold her hand as well- nervous she might flick you away- but she didn’t, acting as though she hadn’t noticed your actions as she continued to lead you forward.
Tsireya did notice your actions, and her heart was beating like a caged ilu inside her chest. The Metkayina had decided to take you to the only place on her island that could at least somewhat relate to the forests of pandora, in thought of your home.
another leaf wall came to sight, Tsireya taking you both through the plants as a beautiful sight was revealed- your eyes went wide, mouth agape at the beautiful sight. It was a small forest with close trees, the leaves and ground glowing with bioluminescent plants- water flooding into the floor from the tunnel you both retreated from. The trees were filled with many different kinds of leaves, glowing green sea grass twirling around the bases of the large plants and lighting the blue water a different shade of mixed combinations. The tsakarem watched your reaction like a predator to pray, inching off every twitch and twinkle on your face, every single moment of your skin.
“wow,” you breathed out, unknowingly still holding onto the reef girls hand as you admired the scenery around you. “this is sänrr nà’rìng, the glow forest. it is the closest thing on this island to your home.” Tsireya’s spoke aloud, grinning sweetly at you when you looked her direction. “come, i will show you one more thing.” as she led you down the water filled path of the makeshift forest, the algae highlighting each of your footsteps on your path. The forest was rather small, and you both came upon a small hut. confusion laced your features- a hut in the middle of a hidden forest?
Tsireya noticed your expression, giggling at the silly movements on your face. She released your hand and went into the lonesome marui, you following suit after. You revealed the inside of the hutch by pulling the leather weaved curtains from your view- and your eyes landed on a homey looking loft. Tsireya sat down in a seating pad, motioning for you to do the same beside her as she ruffled through some items that lay in a basket beside her form. You sat down, crossing your legs and brushing some hair from your face, watching her curiously.
over the span of a few minutes, tsireya had pulled out multiple pieces of twine, small beads and charms, some shells and even dried sea grass. You looked perplexed for a few moments before realization clicked, Tsireya handing you a few ornaments. “I will show you how to make jewelry.” Her smile was very big, as though she absolutely adored doing so. You grinned, scooting closer. “I love beading.” You said to her, watching her ears flicker and her eyes snap to you. “Me too. I adore it. I will show you how I do it, is that okay?” She asked you after sharing her love for jewelry as well, and you nodded strongly. “Of course.”
her smile only grew, her nimble fingers beginning to move around the twine as she spoke to you, the calling of the small animals, the light russel of the breeze and twinkle of the water the only sound other than you both listening to one another.

𝜗𝜚 — When Tsireya first saw you when the Sullys' sought uturu in her home, she was intrigued by you, it was the first she saw a tawtute in person. Only she heard of them was that they were vrrteps and how they were bad people but as she looked at you admiring her home with a round thing on your face that she learned later that it’s an exopack that helps you breathe, she couldn’t help the feelings start brewing inside of her, to her you weren’t bad.
𝜗𝜚 — It took some time for Jake to convince her parents to let you stay but the moment she heard them finally give in, she smiled knowing the fact that she’d be the one to teach you the way of the water.
𝜗𝜚 — One thing she absolutely loves is how short you are, you only went up to her chest but she loves that she can tower over you since she was short herself, and basically anyone towered over her so she was glad of the change.
𝜗𝜚 — She loved how eager you were to learn the way of the water, sure it was harder for you but you never gave up, you kept trying.
“Breathe from down here,” Tsireya says softly as she places one hand on your lower abdomen and the other on your chest after gaining permission to do so. “Breathe in,” you do as she says, breathing deeply. “And breathe out,” you exhale as you turn to look at her “[Name], your heartbeat is fast,” she looks into your eyes as your cheeks heat up. “Sorry.” “Try to focus.” you slightly nod and she smiles at how cute you were.
𝜗𝜚 — One thing she learned about you is how fragile you were so she swore to protect you, always carried an extra exopack if the one you were wearing ever crack on the walks you and her took, a thing y’all pick up on doing to get to know each other. She’d protect you from her brother and his friends' bullying, making sure to let their father know of how Ao’nung was acting and always making sure he and his friends apologized to you.
“You know you didn’t have to do that?” you voiced as you looked up at her earning a frown from her. “Do what, protect you?” you silently nod. “[Name], I won’t let people step all over you just because you’re different than them, I love my brother but he should know better.” You leaned more into her touch whispering a small ‘thank you’ and she smiles. “Now come on we have a date?... with an ilu.” you let out a chuckle as she leads you to the ocean.
𝜗𝜚 — Of course, Ronal was not happy with you dating her daughter, all the Metkayinan women and she chose a tawtute for a girlfriend, she would never understand it but as she watches the two of you more, she sees what Tsireya sees in you and slowly accepts you in her family.
𝜗𝜚 — Tonowari was more accepting of you cause he knew you had a strong heart and you didn’t look like you could hurt his daughter, hell you couldn’t hurt a bug. A smile would form on his face whenever he saw you two talking to each other with huge smiles on your faces, as long as Tsireya was happy, he was happy with your relationship.
𝜗𝜚 — Tsireya knew you were the right one for her and why not seal the deal, sure you can’t mate like na’vis’ can but the two of you bonded in a different way, something so passionate that the two of you would treasure for the rest of your lives together.

Sully’s stick together
When the sun had set, you were already nervous.
Of course, you swam before in the forest, but for only a limited time. But here? It’s what they do, its how they live.
You weren’t sure if you could even hold your breath longer underwater. So when your siblings finally called for you, your breath almost hitched.
Walking with them towards the platform where Tsireya and the same two who noticed you, Ao’nung and Rotxo were standing, you inhaled a sharp breath as they saw you again. “Hey, it’s you.” Rotxo said. “Oh, she’s here.” Ao’nung said in amusement.
“Yeah, I’m here.” You spoke. Rotxo gave you a look of acknowledgement, having stopped the teasing. For Ao’nung however, he was still cautious of all of you.
“Are you guys ready?” Tsireya asked everyone.
You inhaled, giving a nod as your siblings did too.
“Follow us!” Tsireya smiles before diving off the edge of the platform, followed by Rotxo and Ao’nung.
“Last one to enter the water is a skxawng!” Lo’ak challenged, running and jumping in with Neteyam.
“No way!” You followed, running and jumping off the edge and into the water, followed by Kiri and Tuk.
Once your eyes adjusted underwater, it was the most incredible thing you ever saw. You swam forward, eyes following the fish that swam around you. You then spot the three under, Tsireya swimming backwards, looking at all of you.
You pointed towards them as your siblings followed you. You swam and swam, your muscles started to ache and you knew you were already losing air.
Lo’ak could notice as he gives you a tap on your back, making you look at him as he points upwards.
The four of you reach the surface, gasping and breathing for air as you bobbed up and down in the ocean, your arms swaying to keep yourself afloat. Looking back down, you see Tsireya doing something with her hands, making you tilt your head.
Then she smiles, doing a ‘Come here’ motion with her hand and you understood.
You dove back down again, reaching a much deeper foot. You couldn’t help but let your eyes watch over her form as she gracefully moved underwater, her body swaying as she propelled forward, her hair flowing.
You were stuck looking at her when your brothers once again motioned to come up for air.
‘What’s wrong with them?’ Ao’nung signed underwater to Rotxo.
‘They’re bad divers’ Rotxo replied, signing.
‘Stop’ Tsireya intervened. ‘They’re leaning’
Once they appeared above water, Tsireya’s eyes immediately lock on yours. “Are you alright?” Her gaze lasted on you for a few seconds before switching to the others. “You’re too fast! Wait for us!” Tuk said, wiping her eye.
“Just breathe… breathe.”
You took her command as you inhaled through your nose and exhaled deeply out your mouth. “You’re not good divers, maybe good at swimming through tress—”
Tsireya gives Ao’nung a good smack on the head, making you laugh slightly as her brother’s expression changed.
“What were you doing earlier? I couldn’t understand what you were saying.” You asked Tsireya.
“Yeah, we don’t speak that finger talk you guys are doing.” Neteyam followed. Tsireya looked at you again, her eyes blinking “I will teach you.”
“Wait, where’s Kiri?” Rotxo asked from beside you.
“Who?” Ao’nung said, brows furrowing at his friend.
“Kiri.” Rotxo repeated. You looked around for your sister, she was no where to be found. “Did you see her?” Tsireya’s voice asked.
“No, where could she be?” You asked your siblings.
After finding Kiri and her nearly giving you a death-scare, you all were done for today.
The rest of your siblings walked back to the shore as you found yourself walking a lot slower than to keep up with them. Rotxo and Ao’nung had just left, laughing to themselves as they walked to the other side of the village.
You fixed your hair, wringing out the water, sighing.
“You are… I have not learned your name.” A voice spoke out behind you, making you turn your head.
Tsireya.
You look at her for another second before shaking your head and responding. “(Y/N).” You respond, offering your hand.
Tsireya, again, tilts her head at your motion, looking at your hand then back at you. When realization had set, your eyes widened. Retracting your hand into a fist, and bringing it close towards you, you swore, making yourself look stupid again. “Ah, shit- sorry I- that’s just how I introduce myself… I forget you guys don’t do that…” You said the last part in a mumble, looking everywhere again but her. You absolutely sucked at this.
“No, no. It is okay, how do you do it?” She asked.
Wait, wasn’t she just going to brush it off? You guessed not.
Smiling sheepishly, you gave your hand again. “It’s like this,” Tsireya followed, reaching her hand out, “Well- actually you use the opposite hand.” You shyly corrected her as she lets out an ‘Oh!’
“Then what do we do?” She asked. You couldn’t absolutely believed you were teaching the chief’s daughter on how to shake hands right now.
“If I may?” You ask, looking straight up at her. She nods, yet she was entranced by the glint in your eyes, the sun hit your eye perfectly, almost looking like you had gold in your eyes. However, your other eye was just as blue as the ocean, striking, like a strong wave about to swallow one whole. She was curious, it was getting the best of her. And the way you kept eye contact with her sent tingles running down her spine.
“It goes like this,” You say, inching your hand towards her much bigger one as you tried fitting your hand to hers. Tsireya observed the difference. Your hands were too little, yet she watched earlier how you were able to swim quicker than your brothers. “Uhm- since my hand can’t exactly fit-“ You shyly chuckle, trying to grasp her hand, which now you realized, felt soft and light, and certainly felt cool.
“We take each other’s hand and shake.” You say, holding her hand and slowly shaking it up and down. You then feel Tsireya follow as her hands held yours gently, as if any tighter that the bones in your hand would break, to be honest, it probably would.
“And we introduce ourselves like this,” You smile “It’s nice to meet you, I’m (Y/N).”
Tsireya makes an ‘o’ with her mouth and her eyes, almost, happy that she’s learned something new from you. “It is nice to meet you, I am Tsireya.” She copied, your hands still shaking one another which was sending warmth throughout your body.
“Yes! That’s good, perfect, even.” Your sheepish smile returned, politely breaking the handshake off.
Tsireya then clapped her hands together, smiling widely. “That is great!”
“Yeah, it is, so now we finally know each other.” You say to her, looking up.
“It excites me to know more about you!” Tsireya added out of excitement, but she tones it down, clasping her hands together.
Your jaw hanged lose as your mouth was parted before you smile and nod. “I can’t wait to learn more about you guys too.” You said, subtly making so that you were excited to learn the following lessons, but you were more excited with the fact that she didn’t shove you away like she’s learned with the Sky People, no.
She sought past the tales she’s heard from her parents and the villagers; you were different, she felt and knew that. It didn’t scare her interacting with you, she had hoped that all Sky People may not be as dangerous and destructive as Pandora knew, even Jake, your father was once one of the Sky People and here he is now.
She could sense the determination and gentleness of your heart, you meant no harm, she believed. So, once she shook your hand and felt a certain tingle, she knew you were innocent.
‿︵‿︵ʚ˚̣̣̣͙ɞ・❉・ ʚ˚̣̣̣͙ɞ‿︵‿︵
The following day.
You were back in the ocean, standing, waiting for something as Ao’nung called for something. Neteyam was carrying Tuk while you and Lo’ak were goofing off again.
“These are Ilu. If you want to live here,” Ao’nung explains “You have to ride.”
You srunched your nose. So much for that. “Yeah, I think I’d sit this one out.”
“Sis, c’mon.” Lo’ak said, looking at you. “Dude, trust me, go for it.” You encouraged your brother. Anyway, you can’t even bond with any creature here on Pandora as much as you’d like to. A painful reminder that what ever you did, you were still human.
So, you watched, still in the water with Tuk as Tsireya guided Lo’ak, while Neteyam was with Ao’nung. “Make the bond gently.” Tsireya commands Lo’ak, he did as what he is told, forming tsaheylu with the ilu.
You watched as the creature squirmed before calming down. “Look at his legs.” The other commented.
“Hold here.” Tsireya guided him.
“Hold on.” The other said.
You watched as your brother took off, you were almost believing in him until you saw him tumble off the creature, making you all laugh.
“Everything all right, forest boy?” One teased.
The lesson kept going and Tuk even got her own little ilu to ride, Neteyam got the hang of it pretty easily as he was now gliding around you with a confident look on his face.
You stayed watching from the sidelines, smiling. Even though you wanted to feel what it felt like, bonding with the various creatures here on Pandora, you could only dream.
“Look, she can’t even do anything.” You then heard their voices again, Ao’nung and his gang.
“That’s because she’s human, what is she even doing here in Pandora? And her eyes are weird.”
“She’s a freak, I bet.”
You tried your best to act like their words weren’t affecting you, trying to swallow down the lump in your throat. So much for feeling welcomed.
Once they focused laughing on Lo’ak once again falling off, you started walking where your feet took you.
“(Y/N)?” You hadn’t realized you were hugging your arms, in a form of keeping yourself together, so you look and spot Tsireya, on her own ilu, you assumed.
“Tsireya, hey… shouldn’t you be with them? Look, Lo’ak’s ilu seems to be getting annoyed at him already.” You say which made the two of you laugh.
“I should, but you are also my student, are you not?” She asked you.
You froze for a moment.
“Yeah… but I kinda don’t have the… requirements for it?” You say, motioning to her bond with the ilu.
Tsireya shakes her head with a ‘tsk’ before opening her mouth. “Doesn’t mean you can’t be a part of it too.” You felt like a plan was already in her head the moment she offered her hand. “Come, I’ll let you ride with me.”
Was- was she serious?!
With your mouth agape, you stare at her in disbelief. “No way, are you- really?”
She laughs at your disbelief, nodding multiple times. “Yes, yes really, (Y/N).”
The way her name rolled off your tongue sounded so heavenly; how could you refuse?
Taking her huge hand, she carefully guides you to sit on the back, the ilu squeaking happily, making your lips curl into a smile, heart warming at the thought of the ilu comfortable with you.
Once you were positioned, Tsireya turns half her body to look at you. “Are you all right?”
You, not knowing where to put your hands, nodded unsurely. “I think I’m good…”
Tsireya senses your doubt before she grabs your hand, placing your arm around her waist, your hand resting on her stomach sending you bouts of electricity through your nerves at how close you two were. “You can hold here, okay?”
Hadn’t had the time to gather courage to reply, you nod.
“Why are you…pink? Do you feel unwell?” Tsireya noticed, although maybe she was just that focused on you.
“Oh no, I’m fine, really.” You reassured her.
“Okay, let’s go? Remember to hold your breath.” Tsireya reminded.
“Yup, noted ma’am.” You absentmindedly reply, making Tsireya giggle that you could almost feel the vibrations on her back from how close you were.
Then you two started moving, being nervous, you suddenly tightened your grip around Tsireya’s waist. Tsireya could feel it and it made her giddy.
You held onto her as the ilu went for a dive, and it started moving faster. You could see other fish duck out of the way as you moved through, the whole ride making you happy. You figured, is this what it felt like for the rest of your siblings? In that moment you felt like you were free, gliding through the ocean.
Then you suddenly come up, to the surface, you breathe out as you blinked.
“That was- wow that was fun Tsireya!” You said, giving her a toothy grin. Tsireya smiles with you, her hand reaching to touch yours that was still on her waist. “I told you (Y/N).”
She did. The feeling of her hand on yours was enough to make your heart race again. What were you feeling? Why were you acting like this around her? You wanted to give yourself a smack on the head.
While you and Tsireya were having fun on her ilu, the rest of your siblings plus the others watched on theirs.
“Bro, look.” Neteyam said, tapping Lo’ak on the chest and pointing at the two of you.
Lo’ak spots you enjoying, and he couldn’t be happier for you, in a way, you were also able to experience what they did. But this time, they could already tell that you, their sister, had already grown a crush.
But for Ao’nung and his gang, he wasn’t having it as he stared daggers at your back. There is no way he’d let his sister be with someone, let alone one of the Sky People!
When the day had ended, you felt like you’ve grown closer with Tsireya than before, sharing what it was like to live in the other’s world.
“Your world’s more pleasant though, even if I hadn’t been to earth and basically grew up here.”
Tsireya nods, looking at you as you pat her ilu who nudged its head against yours. It was funny, the ilu was much larger than you yet it fell to your touch. “I am very glad you like it here.” Tsireya smiles.
“Definitely.” You say.
“But do you ever miss the forest?” Tsireya suddenly asked. Your face dropped suddenl before switching to its neutral expression.
She felt like that question crossed the line as your face dropped. She frowned, already feeling guilty that she had once reminded you of your own home. She reached out, placing a hand on your shoulder. “I’m sorry, I should not have asked.”
You look up at her, giving a pursed smile. “It’s fine, but yes, I do miss it… kinda miss jumping over vines and branches-“ You joked in hopes of making her also feel better. “But you know? It’s fun here, you know why? Because you’re the first person here to ever look at me like I’m just- a person. Not a demon or a freak due to my eyes…”
Tsireya pouted again, rubbing your shoulder in comfort. “You are not like what they say Sky People are, you are different.”
You smile at her, not having realized the ilu has left and that it was the two of you standing in the ocean.
“Thank you, Tsireya.”

word count: 2.7k
language: Syulang- flower, Kalweyaveng- son of a bitch, Oel ngati kameie- i see you
description: Tsireya, a girl you have loved before you even knew what the word meant. A girl that made you feel ugly emotions you did not know were possible. The girl you would connect to by a small little seashells.
Tumblr media
The first time you saw Tsireya you did not know why you were so drawn to her. A little voice screaming in your head to be her friend. She seemed like an angel in your small eyes, the most beautiful girl you had ever seen, and you just couldn’t tear your gaze away. Completely tuning out your breathing instructor it was as if she had put you in a magical trance. “Y/n stop gawking at Tsireya and please pay attention. This lesson is very important!” Snapping her finger in front of your dazed face your teacher wore a stern expression. Obviously unamused with your new found interest in the small girl. A series of giggles echoed through the small group of children at her public scolding. Embarrassed, you casted your eyes to the floor a dark purple hue rising to your face. You did not miss the way Tsireya giggled with the rest, her voice seeming to stand out to your ears, only deepening your flustered state. It was the first time in your whole 5 years of life you felt truly flustered, a feeling you would get use to as you spent more time around Tsireya.
Thankfully, your teacher was quick to shush the children’s giggles saving you from farther humiliation. “There is no reason to laugh, now let’s wrap up this lesson.” Voice soft yet commanding all the children listened to the older na’vi. Big eyes all zoned in on her as she pressed her hands to her stomach explaining how to breathe from your belly. While you could not help but steal a few glances at the girl across the circle from you. Her big blue eyes seeming to hold the stars as she payed all her attention to her instructor. The class seemed to end too soon as your teacher dismissed you all. The girl you now knew as Tsireya rising to her feet. You did not expect her small body to walk over to you, eyes widening in shock. “Im Tsireya. You kept looking at me does that mean you wanna be my friend?”
“O-of course!” Tone radiating happiness you quickly rose to your feet. The girl was obviously a bit younger than you as you straightened yourself out standing a few inches over her. “I’m y/n” Smiling Tsireya giggled at your excitement seeing your emotions so obviously on display. “Wanna collect seashells with me?” Small hand outstretched you invited her to take yours. Excitedly nodding her head Tsireya placed her hands in yours. A joy like no other filling your body as you guided her to your favorite spot. Allowing the waves to lap over you feet as the two of you search the sand for a hidden gem. Creating a memory you would never forget. The moment that bonded you and Tsireya together.
Now in your late teenage years the two of you still shared the same habit. Tsireya had just finished her training of the day running to your form as you waited for her on the beach. “Y/n!” Ears perking up at the familiar voice you turned your head. As expected Tsireya wore a bright smile as she prance towards you . “I finished this last night wanted you to have it.” Voice soft the girl attempted to catch her breath, words coming out in a jumble. “You have always been a master weaver.” Accepting her gift you slid on her small bracelet. Seashells the two of you had found carefully placed in between the strands of fabric. Tsireyas big eyes watching your every move waiting for your reaction, comfortable placing herself next to you. Holding her gift up to the sun the seashells seemed to sparkle, a soft smile gracing your lips. Butterflies invading your stomach as you brain could not help but imagine this as a courting gift. “Is it to your liking?” Gaze shifting to the girl who still rested a few inches below you a warm feeling filled your stomach as you met her glimmering eyes.
“Of course syulang, I love it.” Shying away from your gaze her small hand came to her lips. A futile attempt to cover her smile. “Now come we must add to your collection.” Boldly taking her hands in your you guided her to the shore of the ocean just as you did many times. Tsireya, allowing you to drag her along as butterflies erupted in her stomach. Eventually Tsireya ventured on her own picking up the seashell she deemed the prettiest. A soft smile covering your face as you ‘looked’ with her, while in reality you spent most of the your time looking at her. “Ah! Look at this one!” Voice shrill Tsireyas voice seemed to raise a couple octaves as she rushed towards you. Smiling from ear to ear she presented a seashell morphed and smoothed into a heart shape by the ocean waves. “Look how it shines!” Giggling she help it up to the sun and it did in fact shine with the sun rays. A beautiful color that almost mirrored the shade of her baby blue eyes. “It’s a wonderful color, might just be my favorite shade of blue.”
“Really?” Cocking her head to the side Tsireys seemed to examine the seashell more. “I will make you more jewelry in this shade!” Proudly announcing her will it was as if a tiny light bulb had gone off in her head. “When I think about it I have not known your updated favorite color for a while now. What shade do you like syulang?” Turning to face you Tsireya lifted her head slightly. Her brows scrunched together as she thought, a habit she had kept ever since her toddler days. Suddenly bringing her hand to your face her thumb traced just below your eyes. Shocked, your pupils dilated slightly as the place she touched began to burn. Although, she had touched you thousands of times before it still sent fire racing through your skin. A fear rising in you that she would hear your heart thumping against your chest as you met her puppy dog eyes. “I think it might be your eyes, Eywa blessed you with a beautiful color.” Parting your lips you attempted to say something but to no avail. It was as if she had knocked the words out of you as you felt the temperature in your face begin to rise.
Seeming to notice this a smile made its way onto Tsireyas lips. Her touched slowly sliding down your face to your neck as she admired the markings adoring your body. “I will see you tomorrow? I must be getting back now. I have an important dinner to attend.” You did not miss the way her face slightly dropped at the mention of the dinner. You felt a pity for her knowing the stories of how incredible boring they were. “Of course, same spot as always.” Patting her head you ushered her off, not wanting the young girl to get in trouble because of you. Watching her form prance away you could not help but relish the heat of her lingering touch. Smacking your cheek you attempted to rid yourself of your emotions. “She is the cheifs daughter it will never work.” Muttering words you had said a million times. Words that had suppressed your growing emotions for years.
Tumblr media
Sitting on the beach you gazed at the ocean. Finding peace in how the sand welcomed your form and the waves lapped against the shore. It was a beautiful day for taking a simple stroll on the beach. The sun was radiant yet not too hot resting calmly against your turquoise skin. A sigh breached your lips as you doodled in the sand an impatience growing within you every passing secant. You had secured a stone you deemed close enough to your eye color hoping to gift it to Tsireya. You had spent most of your morning crafting it into a similar heat shape as the one she found the other day. Using your weaving skills make it the center of a new top you had been crafting for the girl. Position the stone just right so it would rest upon her heart, a place you yearned to be.
Hours seemed to pass as you began to doze off head dipping from exhaustion. Your body seeming to flinch back awake every other minute. Finally having enough of waiting you rose to your feet a slight fear entering you. Tsireya had never stood you up. The girl Always telling you if she could not make it or at least stopping by for a few minutes before reporting back to her duties. Hopping to your feet your legs carried you in a hurry back to the village. Eyes scanning every na’vi passing you in hope one would be her. Almost near the end of your search a familiar giggle filled your ears. Body whipping around you felt you muscles visibly relax when you eyes set on her. Tsireya’s usual smile decoration her face.
“Reya-“ Cutting yourself off mid sentence you bit your tongue as another na’vi entered your view. You felt your stomach twist with a disgusting jealousy as you watched her interact with the male you knew as Ateo. Knowing by the look of desire swirling in his eyes that this was no platonic interaction. Eyes shifting back to the smaller female an anger seemed to mix in with your ugly emotions. Body moving as if you were possessed. “Oh! Y/n!” Noticing your presence Tsireya turned herself towards you. Noticing your mood a confused expression covered her face not sure why you seemed so upset. “Is there something wro-“
“You ditched me for this Kalweyaveng!” Voice dipping with venom you glared at the na’vi to her left. Fury dancing in your eyes. “Who do you think you’re talking too?” Eyes narrowing Ateos glare rested apon you. His tail whipping in aggression. “Wait, wait let’s all calm down.” Attempting to mediate the situation Tsireyas voice fell to death ears as Ateo took aggressive steps towards you. The male had always been arrogant and short tempered. Ateo stood slightly taller than you and seemed to be trying to use that as intimidation. You wanted to scoff at his pathetic attempt to make you cower. Bearing your teeth to Ateo you proved he did nothing to you. “You mad I stole your bitch?” Taunting words left the males lips and it made you want to rip his juggler out then and there. “Have some respect before I make you.” Hands shoving his chest you pushed the na’vi back slightly. Waiting for his short fuse to break.
“I said calm down!” Tone sharp and loud Tsireays voice drew the both of your eyes away from the other. An instant regret crashing over you as you saw her glossy eyes glaring at you both. “You are acting like children get a grip! And to call me by such a name Ateo?” Body shaking in anger the offense was evident in her voice. Body frozen you waited for the next words to leave her mouth but they never did. Seeming to stop herself from speaking Tsireya turned the other way her overwhelming emotions evident in her body language. “Dickhead.” Muttering the insult you quickly followed after Tsireya unraveling her top from your small bag. You did not worry about knowing the destination. Already knowing where Tsireya was headed. Knowing the female since childhood came with its perks.
Dragging your feet in the sand you purposely took a little longer to get to the spot on the beach. Wanting to leave time for Tsireya to calm down. Eventually, her form came into view as you quietly approached her, placing your body in the sand. Although she did not meet your gaze you knew she was aware of your presence as her ears twitching with each movement you made. “Hey syulang” Voice soft you allowed your hand to rest on her back, your finger trailing small circles on her skin. You felt her inhale deeply before meeting your gaze. “I am sorry.” Voice soft a pout rested upon Tsireyas face. “I did not mean to stand you up. It’s just my parents announced him as a potential mate and insisted I spent some time with him. I could not find the time to tell you.” Hearing her explanation it was like a knife to the heart. Shame washing over you in waves as you cursed your jealously fueled actions. Heart banging with regret and sadness at the mention of her mating.
“I am not mad. My reaction was very….. over the top. I am sorry.” Giggling slightly Tsireya seemed to recall the recent memory. “You looked like you were about to rip his head off! But, you did save me from having a horribly disrespectful and hot headed mate so I can not be mad.” Smiling slightly you felt relief wash over you as Tsireya seemed to accept your apology. Her normal cheerful mood returning. “I could never stay mad at you y/n. But why did you get so angry? Were you jealous?” Voice having a teasing tone to his Tsireya skillfully pried. Not wanting to let her true emotions out before she knew yours. Cheeks tenting at her suggestion you could not hold her gaze. Eyes casted out at the ocean. “I need to practice keeping my emotions in check.” Sighing at your answer a frown crossed Tsireyas face. She was tired of your indirect answers, she simply wanted to know what was going on in your head. “What is wrong syulang?”
“Nothing, I just need to find more suitors. I am of mating age after all.” Covering up her feelings she lied. Watching closely as you seemed to cringe at her words ears downturned. “I can make better things than any other suitor could.” Handing her the top you made Tsireyas eyes seems to sparkle. A shy smile making its way onto her face as her hands ran over the fabric. Tuning to dig into her pouch a confused look covered your face as you watched her rummage. Taking out a necklace with the seashell that matched hers but sewn into a dangly piece of jewelry. “We can match now!” Handing you the necklace with the seashell resembling her eyes you could not help the hue casting over your cheeks. “Tsireya we can not, only mates or family match.” Attempting to move the necklace back into their hands she resisted a stubbornly.
“Do you not wish to?” Eyes hurt she flashed her puppy dog look. The frown she wore minutes ago now placed upon her face again. Not being able to resist her beautiful eyes you placed the necklace on with a sigh. Thoughts spiraling in your head as Tsireya eyes lit up at the action. Turning her body around she began to undo her top. Air catching in your throat your eyes watched the fabric fall. Her slim back on full display. Her bare skin soon covered by the top you crafted, as she skillfully tied it around her neck. “Now we are matching!” Voice cheerful Tsireya launched herself onto you. Her body resting comfortable on your legs as she hugged you close. Heart beating rapidly against your chest you placed your arms around her. The warmth of her body seeming to burn as you temperature rose. “Tsireya-“
“I am not 5 y/n I know what the clan will think if they see us.” Leaning back Tsireya met your gaze. Her arms still around your neck and body comfortable seated on yours. There was no doubt your cheeks were every shade of purple as your eyes widened. Trying to wrap the meaning of her words around you brain. “Then I will court you.” Statement clear you looked into her ocean eyes. Searching for a reaction that was soon to come. A joyful screech left Tsireyas lips as she brung her body back to yours. Pressing herself impossibility close as your heart leaped in joy.
“Oel ngati kameie y/n”
“Oel ngati kameie, tsireya.”
Words of affection whispered you did not let Tsireya leave your hold. Eclipse settling in as the two of you cuddled in the sand. Your head on Tsireyas chest as the two of you looked up into the sky. Your matching seashell glowing with your bioluminescence freckles as they connected. The two hearts seeming to have once been one of the same shell. Reunited by two painfully oblivious na’vi finally making a move.

"Come on y/n." Tsireya whispered to you as she stood in the entryway of your mauri.
It's the middle of the night and both of you decided to sneak off and have one of your nightly dates like you've been doing over the past few weeks.
"Okay, okay, I'm coming." you whisper back as you try to slowly step around your family who were sleeping peacefully on their mats trying your best not to wake them up.
You were finally able to make your way to the entryway, "Are you ready to go tanhì?" Tsireya reached out her hand for you to take, ready to intertwine her hand with yours.
"Yes, let's go." and with that, you grabbed her hand and both of you began walking toward the beach. As both of you walked hand in hand Tsireya felt all giddy inside, even though both of you have been dating for a year it still feels like the first time both of you went on a date.
Tsireya loved spending this time with you, being able to be alone at night as the moonlight shined so perfectly on your teal-green skin and how your light blue eyes shined with love.
The beach was beautiful at this time of day, from how the stars were shining in the night sky to the water that was glowing from the bioluminescent flora and fauna within it. After a while of walking along the shore both of you decided to settle down near a palm tree.
You sat down first, leaning against the tree as Tsireya sat on your lap. You wrap your arms around her torso, loving every moment you got to touch her. As Tsireya felt you snake your arms around her frame, a redness spreads across her cheeks. She loves when you touch her just as much as you did. She loves the feeling of your fingertips gliding against her body and the way your hands roam in places that were only accessible to you.
“I love you y/n, you know that? You make me feel so loved and protected.” Tsireya leans back, resting her body against yours and placing her head in the crook of your neck.
“I love you too yawne, you make me the happiest na’vi on Pandora. My life wouldn’t be complete if you weren’t in it.” You end your statement by planting a loving kiss on her cheek. Times like this made you feel so lucky to have Tsireya by your side.
Both of you continue stargazing, looking around at the world that Eywa created. The atmosphere was filled with a warmth that you never wanted to end, you wanted to bask in this feeling forever.

I hope you enjoyed💗!

i met a girl *ೃ༄
parings: tsireya x fem!reader
content: kiri being a wingman? fluff
(bold is for sign language)
Tumblr media
hot air blows in your direction, warming your cheeks as you brush kiris hair. hearing a wince as you brush over a knot, she slaps your hand, annoyed.
“hey, stop being a baby. your hair is a mess, looks like tuk when she wakes up.” you say, laughing at your own pitiful joke.
“leave tuk alone! as if you didn’t spend hours on your hair, just so tsireya could compliment you.” you gasp, pushing her shoulder playfully as she sticks her tongue out at you.
“i did not! stop lying to yourself-” your words get cut off as horns begin to play, startling both you and kiri.
leaving the hut, kiri grabs your wrist as she sees the metkayina people entering the water. feeling a poke at your side, your sister points to the one girl you were crazy about, tsireya. back home, the thought of finding a mate never appealed to you. the idea of being with someone from your village disturbed you, until you realized it wasn’t them. it was you. you wanted a woman. tsireya made you feel different, made you feel like yourself. not wanting to ruin the friendship, you vowed to never say anything about crushing on her, especially to kiri.
running towards the water, kiri shouts at you to slow down, eventually finding lo’ak.
“everybody, our brothers and sisters have returned!” tsireya shouts, swimming towards the group of tulkun. seeing your presence, she waves at you, calling you to join her and her ilu.
“y/n, come on! i have show you the tulkan.” her hands grab yours, putting them around her waist, securing you to her.
as her ilu dives into the water, you hold your breath, praying to eywa you wouldn’t have to come up for air. your eyes begin to widen as you see the tulkun, mesmerized by the way they flow themselves through the water. feeling a tap on your hand, tsireya heads towards a specific tulkun, her soul sister.
“that is my sister, y/n. i must welcome her” she signs, touching your hand before diving down, leaving you behind.
as someone from the forest, holding your breath under water was a big challenge, even with a great teacher like tsireya. swimming to the surface, you catch your breath before submerging your head, hoping to catch a glimpse of tsireya.
“yo, y/n!” the voice of your younger brother calling out to you, kiri right behind him. “bro what are you doing? we gotta check this out.” he shouts, causing kiri to roll her eyes at him.
“since when did you know how to ride ilu, little bro?” you say, eventually getting splashed in the face with salt water.
“you do realize we’re in the ocean? throwing water at her isn’t going to do anything” kiri says, stretching her hand out to you, pulling you up on her ilu.
as you both dive down, you spot tsireya sign something to her sister. her curly hair flowing through the water, making her look even more breath taking.
watching her closely, you pay attention to the way she moves her hands.
your heart skips a beat as you catch these four words.
“i met a girl”

Comfort.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
༉‧₊˚. Featuring. Lo’ak Sully x Tsireya.
༉‧₊˚. Anonymous Request. oh ok!! i read over the request rules and am ready to send one now! could u write some fluffy hurt/comfort with tsireya and lo’ak, but where tsireya is the one who is upset and lo’ak is the comforting one? i just think this would be so sweet because tsireya is so pure and sweet and it breaks my heart when she cries in the movie. i also think lo’ak would be good in this situation cause even if he’s awkward he has sisters haha. a specific scene that comes to mind is when lo’ak looks at her and she’s crying while the rest of the clan wants to go to war for the tulkun and it just makes me think about how all this violence is super new for her and how someone who has such a big heart like her must’ve been so sad over the death of the tulkun :( but it doesn’t have to be for this scenario of course, i was just saying where my idea for the request came from!!
༉‧₊˚. Summary. Lo’ak comforts Tsireya as she suffers the loss of her mother’s spirit sister.
༉‧₊˚. General Tags. Angst and hurt with comfort.
༉‧₊˚. Content Warnings. Aged up! Lo'ak & Tsireya, mentions of war, mention of dead Tulkun and her baby, crying, and a fluff ending.
༉‧₊˚. Word Count. 620.
༉‧₊˚. Index. Tulkun — [is a large, intelligent marine species native to the oceans of Pandora].
༉‧₊˚. Notes. Anon, I’m sorry I took long with your request but I hope you’re still here to read it, I hope I did justice on this and I hope you liked it.
༉‧₊˚. Extra. Comments, likes, and reblogs are highly appreciated but not pressured. 🤍

Nothing hurt Lo'ak more than to see Tsireya crying while everyone else talked about whether to go to war or not. His gaze lingered on her, wanting to go over to her but as soon as he moved his feet in her direction, the meeting was over and people started leaving. Tsireya took that as her moment to run away from the crowd and he followed after her.
“Tsireya wait-,” he calls out for her but she doesn’t stop, he doesn’t give up and continues to follow her. They ran for a couple of minutes not caring about the wandering looks as they passed by. Tsireya slowed down after she reached the secluded part of the beach no one but she knew and it soon became their spot to sneak off to.
“Tsireya…,” he softly spoke as she slowly sat and let out a sob she held in and Lo’ak heart broke at the sound, at the way she looked so defeated, so scared of what was to come. Lo’ak moves toward her and sits down next to her immediately pulling her into his embrace not saying anything just holding her tight.
He knew what to do when it came to comfort, he had done it before with his sisters whenever they were sad so he knew what to do but he added a few things to it, he drew shapes softly at the lower of her back as he let her cry it out, waiting patiently for she to talk. “Th… They killed my mother’s spirit sister… and her baby…” she forced out between sobs and Lo’ak brows furrowed together at the cruelty sky people had, he hated how they had no respect for the planet and the beautiful creatures that were a part of it.
“How can someone be so cruel to kill not only the mom… but her baby who just was born? They didn’t ask for this,” Tsireya sobbed more as Lo’ak contemplated what to say. “What if they come here?” Tsireya lifts her head off of his chest to look up at him, he breaks more at the sight of her puffy eyes and the tears that left a trail on her beautiful face, he cursed to himself never wanting to see such a beautiful girl like her cry, wanting to take away the pain as long as she stays happy.
“What if they don’t stop there? What if they come here? What if they hurt my family, what if they hurt me…” Tears left her eye as she asked these questions that sounded jumbled as she got emotional even more, Lo’ak raises to wipe away the tears, she brings her hand to his removing it from her face and wrapping her entire hand onto his pinky as she looked into his eyes. “What if they hurt you?” As more tears glistened in her eyes, Lo’ak wrapped his other hand over hers, rubbing it softly.
“Hey, I won’t allow anything or anyone to hurt you, they would have to go through me first,” he smiles a bit trying to get a smile on her face but no luck. “Everything’s going to be okay,” he coos softly as he goes back to drawing shapes on her back. “How’d you know?” She questions softly and he just smiles, “Because you got me protecting you and I’ll do anything to make sure you’re safe, and if they do come, I promise you they won’t win, I mean look at me, I’m strong enough to take them down,” he flexes his muscles with a smirk on his face and all Tsireya can do is laugh but deep down she couldn’t be happier that she found someone amazing like him.

Their Love
Tumblr media
synopsis: a little blurb of Lo’ak’s and Tsireya’s relationship
pairings: Lo’ak x Tsireya
genre: romance, fluff
author's note: just a little something for you guys to hold onto while I continue working on my fics and requests. proofread once- I got this out on a rush.
word count: ~400
Tumblr media
Perhaps it was the way she was always smiling at him so genuinely or the way she gently held his hands.
“I see you.” Those three words are what pushed him over the edge. Lo’ak knew right there and then that he fell for her. And he fell hard. Tsireya was never wavering in her kindness for him, always full of patience and care for Lo’ak. Slowly and carefully teaching him her people’s ways and helping him adjust to a new way of life. But most importantly, making him feel like he belongs.
Lo’ak has always struggled with feeling like a burden, an outcast, and one big disappointment. But with Tsireya, he found his way in life. She made him feel worthy, and made him feel loved.
Love, a new feeling for Lo’ak, one he wasn’t used to. Perhaps he was always used to tough love. Tough love that his family gave him since he was always getting into trouble. But Tsireya, she didn’t mind. She was always gently advising him on what to do and what not to do. Always guiding him in the right direction, but with care. Care for his well being, care for his emotions, and care for him. Tsireya’s care for Lo’ak was something he wasn’t used to. But she made him open to it, made him open to seeing how wonderful it is to be loved and appreciated. Appreciated for being alive, and appreciated for being him. Lo’ak’s wild nature was something she never took for granted. Tsireya didn’t wish to change him, only for him to be more careful but because she cared about him. She never wished for him to change his personality or to act like somebody else. Because to her, Lo’ak was the one she wanted, he’s the one she loves.
Tsireya’s loving and gentle personality with Lo’ak’s wild and adventurous side were thought to automatically clash by many, but no. She brought sound reasoning to his mind, and he brought adventure to her life. They fit each other perfectly, like a puzzle. They completed each other, like a match made by the great mother herself.
And so when Tsireya, with the utmost care, held Lo’ak’s hand and said “I see you.” He knew that he loved her and couldn’t be more sure about anything else in his life. That he was loved, loved by her.

lo’ak watched from afar as tsireya swam up to the surface. her smile dazzled as she laughed to herself, her ilu swimming circles around her strong treading body.
his heart fluttered deep within his chest, and he clears his throat - remembering he’s around his siblings. turning his head away from tsireya, lo’ak makes eye contact with his brother. and he blushes, immediately knowing that neteyam plans on teasing him.
“oh baby brother” he sighs out, lifting his long arm and gripping the base of lo’ak’s braid - making him snarl at his brother in an annoyed manner. lo’ak’s tail whipping behind him. “shut up” he hisses, trying not to give a sheepish smile in embarrassment. only making neteyam let out a small laugh and return his hand to his lap. all kiri could do as she watched her brothers make a hissy fit was internally laugh at the fact that lo’ak was ultimately smitten
“lo’ak come! come!” tuktirey shouts in the distance with excitement as she runs her smaller legs quickly to her older brother. sand kicking up from her feet traveling at least three feet in each stride. practically hopping and buzzing with pure joy in her youthful eyes and fanged smile. lo’ak groans with a roll of his eyes as he hears his youngest sister call for him, ears going back with annoyance. and as she approaches her brother, she grabs his left arm and yanks him towards her. “tuk!” lo’ak growls, his body jerking in the direction of the small na’vi. his body falling to the side and into the sand from the amount of force she unknowingly used. making kiri cover her open smiling mouth with her hands.
“tsireya found something!! she wants you to see!” she yells straight in his ears, making his eyes squint with her loud voice. “come!!” she pleads, tugging him once again. “go.. hurry, baby brother” neteyam teases, chuckling out, turning to smile at kiri who finally joins in the laughter with him.
“fine! i’m coming” lo’ak surrenders, trying to regain his balance as he lifts up his lean body up from the sand. and ignores his other siblings making fun of him. “you can let go tuk” he says, looking up at her with a small smile despite the complaint, trying to drop his arm once he’s back on his feet. “oops sorry!” she giggles and let’s go of his arm - bursting out in a run once again towards her supposed destination. turning her head to look behind her, she makes sure lo’ak was really coming, - erupting her face with another smile when he actually was following after her, (just not with a sprint.)
zeroing in closer towards tsireya in the ocean, lo’ak tries and avoids his sight from her and watches as his feet dig in the sand with every step, trying to slow down his heartbeat knowing that he’s close to being in full range of her beauty.
“lo’ak!” tsireya happily greets, smiling - making him focus his attention towards her again - yet this time he’s not watching from afar. “thank you for getting him tuk.” her angelic and gentle voice speaks words of kindness, and lo’ak’s stomach flutters. “hey” he greets, with a stupid smile (that should barely be considered a smile, for he only lifts one side of his mouth, trying not to seem too excited to be in her proximity) after tuktirey drops off her brother to his designated destination, she smiles big and runs off into the water in a different direction (in her own little world). leaving lo’ak there alone on the beach shore, standing there foolishly, not knowing what to do with himself.
“come here i want to show you something!” tsireya calls with a wave of her hand, giggling as she watches lo’ak try not to be awkward once tuk left. “oh okay” he says shyly, stepping into the sea and diving into the water. swimming towards her with as much swagger as he can muster up, his focused face trying to keep his head above the moving ocean surface. ultimately making her grin widen, for she wasn’t oblivious of his hysterical antics to try and make her swooned. though they secretly did make her fall for him even more.
swimming up next to tsireya’s treading body, she calls for her ilu to come back again with a click of her throat. and within seconds the creature was up from the deep, chittering happily circling the both of them. “let’s go” tsireya smiles, mounting her ilu, reaching out her fin-like arm for lo’ak to grab. and he does with a skip of his heart. her soft, wet, turquoise toned skin cool to his warm touch.
sitting himself behind her, she turns her head to watch him get positioned. lo’ak’s slim body pressing in on her from behind, he catches her eyes with his and blushes, wrapping his arms around her slim waist while keeping eye contact. she was breathtaking.
lo’ak - nervous she could feel his heartbeat against her back, swallowed as tsireya let out a contented hum from her throat. “ready?” she asks him sweetly, feeling his hands hold onto her body delicately, inevitably making her melt in his touch. nodding his head and giving her a quiet “yes”, they submerge into the water. off to wherever she wanted to show him.
coming up to the reef pools and resurfacing, the two of them intake a decent breath of air. filling their lungs back up with oxygen. and tsireya takes her braid from the bond with her ilu and places a hand on top of lo’ak’s from around her waist. looking down to see her hand on his, she gleams happily - dimples portraying themselves on her cheeks, and after a moment she speaks up. “over here”
with that, she pats his hand twice and slides herself into the water - lo’ak following behind her closely. “i wanted to bring you here” tsireya mentions, lifting her body over the edge of the reef pool. “how come?” lo’ak asks, trying not to sound too curious or excited. his curiosity flaming in wonder. watching her strong body pull itself out of the ocean into the separated pool, he repeats her movements and climbs over as well.
standing in the light and shallow, small body of water, lo’ak tilts his head to the side in question. making tsireya snicker out cutely, “well, i may have told you a little bit of a lie” she confesses with a light blush to her cheeks, ears going back shyly. “i don’t really have anything in particular to necessarily show you”
lo’ak’s lips curl in a little smile, watching her become bashful all of the sudden. “oh?” he asks with a hint of playfulness in his tone. and she catches it, making her blush deepen in hue and lick her lips nervously. lo’ak catches the movement around her mouth in specific, causing him to repeat her actions again. licking his own.
“i-“ she starts, then sighs trying to not stutter over her words. melting lo’ak’s heart in the process. “i just wanted to tell you something” her eyes lower down, and lo’ak then, fully approaching her body. lifts up her chin with two fingers, an act he’s surprised of. wondering where he got the confidence to do so. watching her eyes widen in surprise and a small gasp of air to come between her lips, lo’ak gives her a big grin. his heart palpitating in love. “you can tell me tsireya” he soothes out, and she closes her eyes for a second. cherishing the way he said her name, it replaying in the back of her mind.
refocusing on him, tsireya finally obtains all the courage she could muster up and spills her secret.
“i really like you lo’ak, and… and i just think you don’t understand how amazing you really are, and how you never fail to make me feel like i’m admired..” she stops, embarrassed she had started to ramble. lo’ak’s ears go stiff in surprise and his brows go up. her words were genuine, he knew that for a fact - but hearing them fall from her mouth made him feel like he was actually seen. not just as another one of the members of the sully family, but as himself.
“i’m sorry, i-“ she tries to explain herself but gets interrupted by lo’ak’s lips locking in with hers. the soft contact causes her small mewl of surprise to be swallowed by him and he feels tsireya ease into his touch as he places his other hand not on her jaw, to her waist - bringing her in even closer. their lips dancing together with sincerity and love.
separating from each other's mouths, lo’ak presses his head against a tsireya’s and looks into her eyes once they flutter open. his hand traveling from underneath her jaw to the side of her face, cupping her cheek in his palm. “tsireya?” he says with a slight raise of his voice
“lo’ak?” she replies with bright eyes looking into his.
“i love you”

➜ Pairing: Tsireya x reader

➜ Notes: just a little drabble I cooked up rq for this love lady
Tumblr media
“Tsireya?” You call out, treading through the waist high water as you try to find where she went. The two of you had just been out taking a swim together – in rather shallow water, might you add – and she’d suddenly disappeared.
Tsireya was a good swimmer, she knew the sea and the reef better than anyone, and she could take care of herself, but you couldn’t help but worry as more time passed. The uneasy feeling in your gut beginning to grow stronger.
“Tsirey,” you tried again, “If this is some kind of joke it's not funny at all.”
Suddenly the breath was knocked straight out of your lungs, you were knocked back into the water, vision blurring. Your back hit the liquid surface painfully hard as you were tackled. Your mouth opened to form an ‘o’, and your hand reached up to the knife that was strapped to your chest getting ready to fend off an attacker before the familiar dark and wavy locks flashed across your vision and Tsireya came into view above you.
Her body shook with inaudible laughter, small bubbles escaping her smiling lips and your frowned. Letting go of your knife you swam back to the surface, and she followed closely behind you.
“That was not funny!” you said immediately and taking a deep breath of air. She just grinned back at you giggling. You found it hard to make a point when she was looking at you like that though. The edges of her eyes crinkling and eyes sparkling with excitement.
“The look on your face was.” she countered flicking some water at you playfully. You returned the gesture, smiling as she turned her head and shut her eyes tightly to avoid the water.
“I was worried about you!” you stressed. Her expression softened at your words.
“Well, you have nothing to worry about,” she assured and you moved towards her, pressing a kiss to her cheek. Her face flushed at the act of affection, and she ducked her face into your neck to hide it. You laughed, wrapping your arms around her and pressing another kiss to the top of her head in adoration, all your frustrations with her antics falling away quickly. As small as they were, you couldn’t ever be upset with her, not even in the slightest.
