Been thinking a lot about how live theater does not receive as much of a “pass” for offensive (or “in bad taste”) content as books and films created in the same era. Something something, the content is being recreated with each performance.

But do we just lose large swaths of plays and musicals and relegate them to closet dramas forever? Most regional and community theaters have no legal permission to remove or change offensive content, so they never put on these plays.

speaking of people's wrong opinions on art i love haikyuu's art development and its current style idc what ppl say about it

Considering you have a love for Disney Movies so much, what's your opinion on the Worst Film, "Chicken Little"?

I actually like Chicken Little!

I think its funny and I like how they modernized the story and I honestly Do Not Understand the hate it gets. The animation isn't even that bad really and the soundtrack is pretty good imo.

Its canon to the DisneyVerse in that it takes place in the same world as Zootopia in my headcanon.

Now-- the /Cow Movie/, that one deserves to be the most hates imo.

I can think of dozens of instances where I genuinely enjoyed myself and laughed during Chicken Little but the /only/ moderately enjoyable part of Home in the Range is the villain song and even most of that is just a beleaguered fatshaming joke :p

(Ok actually the joke about the guy sitting in the exact same spot to cover the tiny farm in the map was pretty funny too)

I honestly remember the deleted scene where they find out Alameda Slim wants to use his hypnotized cow army to storm Washington DC so he can become President of the United States more then the actual plot of the movie because that was more creative, fun and memorable then the actual movie.

And //THAT// was what they were going to end their 2D movie run on?!

But yeah, Chicken Little is genuinely fun with great jokes and a good story and people need to give it another chance. I really think that it's just the 3D throwing people off for some reason, and its not even that bad, just stylized. If it had been 2D then I think it would have been another classic of the Experimental Age like Lilo and Stitch or Emperor’s New Groove
