okay im finally getting around to posting this, tbh i had to take a few days to (rest) before i thought more about this lol. also sorry it’s so long, ill put it under a read more. ANYWAYS my vav experience, as follows:

so for the fan sign there was a Lot going on so i forgot most of it but.. barons teeth sparkled when he smiled lmao anyways st van was first and I told him he was my moms favorite and he went rly?? in a really cute voice and he just seemed so surprised, it was endearing

and then jacob... i don’t mess with him anymore. jk lol he was so freaking attractive but like in a Hot way? his smile was so nice that im pretty sure i garbled my words but i tried to tell him i really like love night.. and I was going to ayno and like idk if i was joking to myself or what but just loud enough i actually said, oh that’s lots of bling! and both ayno and jacob heard me, ayno laughed genuinely and jacob was like omg i can’t believe this idiot.. i don’t think i said anything to ayno, he seemed really uncomfortable so i didn’t want to bother him anymore. but his laugh was genuine i could tell, and for a split second i don’t think he was wearing his Idol Mask(TM) when he smiled. but that’s probably just wishful thinking lol

ACE I CANT BELIEVE HIM he looked so fucking good oh my god i got to him and i called him a Casanova and he went ayyyy with a thumbs up and finger guns and i wanted to die lmfao

when i got to baron he said my name but kinda pronounced it wrong but i corrected him, and he said it again. and then i told him my name rhymes with his and he said mine like four times in different ways trying it out and rhyming it with his stage name😭 HE DIDNT have to say my name that many times, god. his English was so fucking good holy shit and his pronounciation??? Amazing and he’s so handsome up close, like literal Disney prince handsome

ziu talks sooo much!!! I love it and he’s so good looking and kind and he shook my hand and ??? he said to enjoy the show and i told him to enjoy doing the show and he did like a shy smile kind of thing !! you could tell he was trying hard with the English i was rly proud of him

lou had a flower crown on and i complimented on it and he said my name so well and there was more with him but i forgot 😢

but that was just the fan sign lol so much other stuff happened... later during the show i nearly died bc of ayno.. they were picking people to go up on stage, right? and there was a girl in front of me also with her hand raised, like freaking out (maybe a bit too much?) and i was like okay she probably wants it so i kinda like.. stopped raising my hand and gestures to her? If that makes sense... he almost picked her but when he saw me be nice and let her have it, he literally stares at me and picks me, dead on...but someone random that he wasn’t pointing at like ROWS back walked on stage before we could realize it was me but that fucking eye contact i had with him made him SHOOT up my bias list lol now I have to rethink my entire order. im like 75% sure that he picked me because i wasn’t a crazy fan, like the girl in front of me was a bit much.. and obviously if i was willing to give it up im not that insane... ladies, it pays off to be a nice person!

AND JACOB WITH THE BABY please end me i fell for him so much like he’s almost overtaking baron that’s how much i liked him last night and how nice is vav that they tried to pick new people?? like they picked the fan boy, the little baby, the elderly lady.. and they even helped her to and from the stage 💗😍 AND SPEAKING of gentlemanly stuff there was a guy with a wheelchair during the snapshots in line for jacob and when they were done he personally pushed the guy in the wheelchair all the way to where the man needed to go. he breaks my heart and heals it simultaneously, he’s so underrated but still a genuinely and QUIET nice person.. he doesn’t do good stuff to be noticed. like when winter breeze was over, they had the rappers sing it too... but not jacob. i was so upset and he also didn’t do his solo song that i specifically told him i liked, but ayno did two of his. im not bitter at all what do u mean ??? 🤷‍♀️

i feel like more happened at the concert but i can’t think of much more, im sure other fan accounts will have it all. the only thing i can think about is the snapshots anyways lol

the group picture was ... interesting. the hi touch wasnt much except it reinforced my idea that ayno recognized me, bc instead of a high five he held my hand for as long as possible, probably an apology for earlier. i nearly died. the pic ended up looking awful but thats okay lol. then we tried to leave but i ended up going the wrong way, and a staff handed me roughly like actually grabbing my shoulders and pushing me in the right direction (which i did not appreciate, please chill, u just didnt tell us the right way to go...) and a few members saw that and didnt like either. ayno looked irritated but im sure hes just irritated at everything at that point lol, lou and ace looked at me sympathetically, and i gave ace the happy bday present someone asked me to give to him. he was so surprised it was adorable.

OKAY, NOW FOR THE SNAPSHOTS: so i actually had 7 snapshots but ended up getting 2 with jacob and 2 with ayno instead of one with everyone (which.. if u look above is not a surprise lmfao) so the first snapshot i do is with baron, obviously.. and this ASSHOLE wants to kill me like... for everyone i tried to pick poses that werent too touchy bc a) im not comfortable w that and b) im sure they were all tired of being touched lol so i picked the one where you make fingerhearts while standing next to each other, but NOOOOO

baron decides he doesnt like that pose enough so he literally puts his hands on my shoulders, guides me to a position thats not only in FRONT of him but CLOSER TO HIM than i was originally!!! what the fuck!! thats not all after that he had to lean around me and basically like... he was so fucking close to me oh my god. he smelled so good i need to know where he gets his cologne. also lol when he moved me in front of him i was like... omg are u sure??? im kinda tall.. and he just laughs and smiles and leans into/around me. that picture of me looks so stupid bc i was so.. happy and Not Ready lmao

anyways i go to jacob next and do the e-t touch pose lol since like i said... didnt want touchy ones and he seemed amused that i picked that one. i wonder if it was one of the least popular ones? probably.. and GOD hes rly such a gentleman hottie like i rarely say h*t but.... jacob was hot. since we did the e.t touch pose we had to touch fingertips and (eyes emoji) not to have a hand kink or anything but hes got. really nice hands. long fingers. also lmfao he had long ass fingernails and i kinda joked with him like “youve got longer fingernails than i do!!” and he laughed and smiled at me. and okay i turn to leave like gotta have the next person go but APPARENTLY he wasnt ready for the next person yet... i literally had to have the staff be like wait! jacob is saying bye to you!!! and i was like WHAT and turned around and ran back to him basically to say bye he was grinning the entire time and he waved his hand and held it up for (i thought) a high five but he grabbed it and i swear i fell for him right there. JACOB WHEN WILL U BE MINE godfjkdgd and i watched him for a little bit but he didnt say bye that enthusiatically to anyone else (that i saw, at least)

then i did the prom pose with st. van, it was adorable. you could tell he was rly trying to interact with everyone and idk what it is about him but i felt comfortable enough to actually do a Touchy pose (the holding arm pose, like prom yknow). we love an amazing leader~

oH i did one with ziu too!! i did the byung byung pose with the hands together and we both looked ridiculous lol. i dont remember much about him except he was so tall wtf taller than i expected.

at this time i keep looking at my pics and THE E.T PIC WITH JACOB??? makes me crack the hell up.... it had to have been fate, obviously. in the pic (from the camera flash, i guess) where our fingers were touching, it just SO HAPPENED THAT THERE WAS A FLASH OF LIGHT......... iconic. jacob n i are meant to be. so i get in line for him again bc i want to show him the pic, but by the time i got up there again i had forgotten. i was also like... ready for a touchy pose with him bc why not. i cant remember what pose i did with him or if anything happened, im sure i was in a trance then lmao. pretty sure he recognized me but i cant be sure.

then i get in line for ayno and i have two snapshot tickets left, and the staff announces theres only a few mins left so i was like SHIT and figured id just do two with ayno bc i didnt wanna waste any. his line was so long and staff had to keep reminding ppl not to hug/touch him and i felt soooo bad. i picked poses that werent too close to him, and even those in the pic he looked like he was trying to not be close to me lol. i feel so bad for him, im sure he got a lot of weird fans that night. i think he recognized me (again) because he smiled genuinely like he was happy i was there. i think he appreciated that i picked poses that didnt require touching -- he probably had a Lott of that. when the second pic was being printed the staff member laughed at something someone said, but i thought she was laughing at my picture bc i take shit pics and i got offended for a second and so did ayno LMAO but then she explained and i said bye to him and he went back into Idol Mask(TM) and i think that was it.

i also ate at ihop that night, it was great, we didnt get back to our hotel till after 2am, it felt so... young adult-ish to be out so late lmao. i was very proud at how everything turned out, i dont think i wouldve changed a thing

anyway, long story short: im in love with jacob, baron is a disney prince, ayno shot up my bias list (he was like... last lmao) and i appreciate him as a person. those three were the Big Three, but i still loved meeting the other members. 10/10 would recommend vav

VAV’s Jacob celebrates his birthday in Manila

Kpop boy group, VAV (short for Very Awesome Voice) held a special night for their Filipino VAMPZ during their “2019 Meet and Live Tour” last September 7 at SM City North Edsa Skydome.

VAV debuted in October 2015 under A Team Entertainment. The group consists of St. Van, Jacob, Baron, Ayno, Lou, Ace, and Ziu.

The boys opened the show by performing their latest single “Give Me More” and “Señorita.” Member Lou acted as MC for the fan meeting, showcasing his flawless English skills. He also told the crowd that the members prepared some Tagalog sentences, including Baron’s “ang ganda niyo” and Ace’s “ PH Vampz salamat po!”

They also performed some of their hits, such as “Thrilla Killa”, “Gorgeous”, “Flower”, “Dance With Me”, “I’m Sorry”, and ”She’s Mine”, among others. They also performed a cover of Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk” and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito”.

The fan meeting included a game segment in between their performances. In the Tell Me Your Wish game, VAV picked members from the crowd to join them on stage. A lucky fan got a video greet from VAV, another got a girl group dance performance, and one even got to have a 30 seconds eye contact with member Ziu.

During the Q&A segment, Jacob was asked what food he would like to be and why. He responded “ Spicy Chicken because I’m a hot guy,” he also said the the most memorable words he heard from a fan was “ you are the most handsome guy in the universe!”

Ace said the first thing he did upon arriving in Manila was to “eat sisig”, Baron said if he were a season he would be summer, and Ayno granted a request to do a sexy dance.

Member Jacob mentioned that the night was special for him since it is also his birthday that day, to which the PH VAMPZ responded by singing a birthday song for him. “VAV Philippines” also prepared a video greeting and cakes for both Jacob and Ace, the latter celebrated his birthday last August 28.

Towards the end of the show, Lou said he never imagine that he would able to return to the country to perform as a part of the boy group, as he studied in the Philippines before. He added “ I promise you, we will come back to the Philippines,” to which PH VAMPZ high-spiritedly teased him by saying “ iiyak na iyan!”

The show ended with VAV performing their last song “ Winter Breeze” and an encore song “Señorita.”

Stepwells in Rajasthan

Stepwells were once constructed for the purpose of water storage and also doubled up as air conditioning systems in palaces and forts. What is striking about these systems is that they are built in a very unusual structure. Also called as Baori or Baoli or Vav in local languages, the step-wells are unique architectural pieces that you will come across especially in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The base of the stepwells in Rajasthan can be up to 10 degrees cooler than its surrounding areas, providing a cool respite from the hot weather conditions of the state. History buffs and travellers find these places very interesting given the semi-symmetry with which they are built. If you wish to visit them too, here is a list of stepwells in Rajasthan that you should know about: -

1. Chand Baori, Abhaneri

Enough to give anyone vertigo with its 3500 narrow steps and astounding 13 storeys, the Chand Baori should be numero uno on your list. It is an ancient stepwell of Rajasthan that is situated in Abhaneri, a village located at a distance of 94 km from Jaipur. Constructed opposite to Harshat Mata Temple in the 800 AD, the stepwell was constructed by King Chanda of the Nikumbh Empire to solve the water crisis at that time.

2. Panna Meena ka Kund, Amer

Apart from being a place for accessing water, the Panna Meena Ka Kundonce doubled up as a social meeting spot as well. The rustic stepwell makes for an interesting tourist spot where people come to admire the fascinating architecture. The symmetrical stairs that go down up to eight storeys are enough to enamour you with the way they are styled in the stepwell. While stepping on the zigzag geometrical pattern of the stairs, you can catch a view of the towering Amber Fort and Palace along with a gorgeous view of the mountains. If you visit the stepwell during monsoon, you can see people diving right into the kund which makes for a joyous sight.

3. Hadi Rani ki Baori, Tonk

Hadi Rani ki Baori is situated in the Tonk district, 150 kms from Jaipur. The three-storey stepwell is another architectural wonder that you can visit while you explore Rajasthan. A go-to spot for the locals, the stepwell is well-maintained with the water quite clean. Being an 800-year old stepwell, it keeps drawing the interest of locals and tourists alike. The place was built in the honour of Hadi Rani. If the story of the locals is to be believed, Hadi Rani was the wife of Ratan Chudawat who was ordered by the King of Mewar to fight against the Mughals. Ratan Chudawat was hesitant to leave for war right after marriage. In order to motivate her husband to fight in the battlefield, Hadi Rani got her head severed. Following this, Ratan Chudawat joined the war and tied her head around his neck by the hair and even won that day. However, he eventually severed his own head because he was not able to bear the idea of having to live without his wife.

4. Raniji Ki Baori, Bundi

Constructed in the year 1699 by Rani Nathavati Ji, Raniji ki Baori is a famous stepwell in Bundi town. Having a total of 50 stairs, the baori was a famous meeting place for the locals for religious and social purposes. Showcasing architectural magnificence at its best, the stepwell has a sleek entrance with elephant structures facing towards each other. The entrance also has beautiful pillars and a huge arched gate. On discovering more you will also find a place of worship on every floor.

According to the history of the Baori, Rani Nathavati Ji devoted her life towards the well-being of common people and hence began the construction of the baori.

5. Toorji ka Jhalra, Jodhpur

Built-in the year 1740, Toorji Ka Jhalra showcases intricate designs that mirror the lifestyle of the generations gone by. Shedding light into the conventional water management systems of Jodhpur, the stepwell is a must-visit attraction while you tour the city of Jodhpur. Built with the popular rose-red sandstone, the stepwell is a whopping 250-year old structure. Being 200-feet deep, Toorji Ka Jhalra was once decorated with elaborate carvings of lions, elephants, and cow waterspouts. The stepwell is visited by locals for water games in order to get some respite from the hot summer weather of Jodhpur.

Each stepwell in Rajasthan has a unique tale to narrate that lets you peek into the history behind its construction. The intriguing architecture of these stepwells attracts several travellers to Rajasthan, which further highlights the fact that it is an architectural concoction like no other.

Q: How long have you been trainees?

St. Van: The longest it should be Ayno.

Ayno: Yes, I have been a trainee for 9 years since I was a child. Now I am very happy. I am working hard on the VAV team. It is good to be a combination with my brother and friends and friends.

Jacob: I am the member with the sortest trainee time. I trained for almost a year and then debuted. During the period, I did not encounter any elimination, and it went smoothly.

Baron: Almost three to four years.

Lou: I’m almost three to four years.

Ziu: After five years of practice I debuted.

St.Van: Almost four to five years.

Q: What is the most memorable thing in the training period?

St. Van: When we first lived together in the dormitory, the dormitory would leak when it rained. There was water on the floor. Jacob slept in the top bunk, so sometimes when Jacob was sleeping, the rain would drip on his face. There is that we can't wash clothes in the dormitory at that time, so we will go to the laundry room to wash clothes.

Baron: It’s especially hot when is hot, and it’s really cold when it’s cold. You need to be careful when you are cold, and you may be dehydrated when you are hot. In this grim environment, we have been preparing for the album (...) When we practiced, (because of dancing) the mirror is full of water vapor, the degree that people can't see clearly, those days are really hard to forget.

Ace: My most memorable thing is that Ayno had a big cry when he was a trainee. At that time, this friend had just joined less than a week ago.

Trainee for a long time suffered a lot, you may then have a lot of pain, but also a lot of pressure (...) He’s here to come to this (VAV) and want to work hard to do it. Suddenly this scene emerged in my mind. Now he really grow up more. The then still very cute brother, now become a very handsome artist.

Ayno: Although the life of the trainee is very hard, these have become my wealth.

Q: What is the biggest difference between the debut and the practice period?

Ziu: I think the difference is that during the practice period, I went to practice for the debut. Now, after I debut, we have fans who are helping us. The biggest difference is with whether there are fans for our support.

Lou: As Ziu said, the biggest difference is whether there are fans who like us. And as we just said, we have been practicing for a long time before debuting, and the results after hard work are shown. It is different to show it to the company or to show it to ourselves, or to show our results to others.

Q: What is the deepest impression after debut?

Baron: We just finished the tour. There are many memories. I am very happy to see fans from all over the world. I am always excited when performing on the stage, so it is especially memorable, and we also want to meet Chinese fans as soon as possible.

Ayno: The debut song "Dance With Me" was the most impressive. It was really stressful at that time and I relied on my brothers. When I came down from the stage, I was particularly excited and expressed my happiness to the members. I was very happy at the time.

Baron: Speaking of "Dance With Me", I think of a little story. Ziu cried a lot after the end of the stage while returning home. This was a very deep feeling in the dormitory.

Ziu: I was sitting in the back seat of the car at the time. I was on the way home after the end of Showcase. I looked out the window and cried. I felt my dreams come true. My brothers, I love you.

Q: What is the happiest thing and the most distressing thing at this stage?

Ziu: First of all, the happiest thing at this stage is the efforts of our seven people. With fans who can see these, the most distressing thing is how to look more handsome? How can I let fans hear better songs and dance more handsome dances? There will always be such troubles.

Ace: I think the preparation of the album is the most interesting and fun thing, because practicing the favorite songs and dances, the most exciting moments of practice. Also when we were preparing for the album, we’re thinking about what kind of music fans and people liked, so that was the most distressing moment when we were preparing for the album.

Q: What do you think is the most important qualification for an idol?

Baron: I think it's important to be able to express yourself. Although it is important to express myself between us, it is especially important to speak in front of the camera or in some actions. Like coquetry, although I don't know how to act spoil. I feel that I am more organized when I speak. People who speak more like Lou and Ace can make people feel very interesting and happy with words, and there are others who use action to bring joy to everyone. You can see these strengths of our members and it’s more fascinating.

Lou: It would be especially good if, personally, you zoom in on what you do. For example, Ayno's dance and rap are great, and then just continue to delve into each of their strengths.
