Awesome vintage RCA/Victor Stereo Console. Record player and radio work well, but speakers do cut out from time to time. Probably just needs a good cleaning or there’s a loose wire in there somewhere, but I’m honestly certain. Has a cool little record storage bin built in on top. Found a Safe Place for the 1961 Curtis Mathes Console Stereo, Model 40M653, All Vacuum Tubes Hi Fi. Testing the Turntable, she flipped over in the back of my truck coming home, I had to drag the console out of the back of the shed that has been broken into and looted. This old girl is tuff as nails. She still plays, both the radio and the turntable. I cannot believe how many times I have had to save this stereo, from a foreclosed home to a looted shed. A nice example is this Mitsubishi DT-7 #Stereo #Cassette Deck, released in late 1979/early 1980 with a list price of $260 USD (approximately $850 today). Super cool small Silvertone Radio/Record Player Cabinet! AM radio gets signal but it is weak. The light on the radio dial works. Record player spins but got no sound. Tubes light up. Basically a cool furniture/fixer-upper situation. Has a cool spot on the bottom left for record storage.
